She’s my best friend. We shouldn’t be hooking up. And we definitely shouldn’t be falling in love.
Jenna and I have been best friends since my first day as the new kid in third grade—and I’ve had a crush on her for just as long. There’s no chance in hell that I’m going to tell her, though. Why would I risk screwing up what we have? One day, though, when Jenna ditches her boyfriend and swears off all guys, I joke about her needing a friend with benefits. Honest to God, I’m just kidding around. And yet somehow we end up in bed. Well...up against my apartment door. And then in bed. And then in the shower. But what should be a fun, hot, no-strings arrangement soon gets messy. We both realize we can’t keep doing this. We need to go back to the way things were. Problem is...there’s no going back. Everything’s different now. I’m in love with her. And if I can’t prove to her that we should be together for real, I’m going to lose her. Forever.
BENEFITS is a full-length standalone friends-to-lovers romance. This steamy hot novel delivers a happily ever after, and absolutely no cheating or cliffhangers.

This is not a bad story, I really enjoyed the storyline and absolutely loved Finn. Jenna on the other hand, I really battled to like, she was all back and forth and unnecessarily painful. I loved that they have a deep friendship since forever. No cliffhangers, a delightful HEA. This is the first book in the series, so we are definitely going to see the other Ripley siblings.
Mejores amigos + beneficios. De hecho perdí la cuenta de cuantas peliculas he visto con este mismo tema y siempre son divertidas. Me gustan.

After a breakup, Jenna sits at the bar and berates Finn, her bartender friend, for the sorry state of men – who are all jerks. All except Finn, of course. Finn has had a crush on his best friend for years, but Jenna is oblivious. Jenna now swears off dating and, since she doesn’t want to just sleep around, she likes the idea of a friend-with-benefits to keep her heart out of the matter! Is Finn going to get burned out of this “casual” relationship when he feels something so much more? Or will Jenna finally realize he is much more than just a friend to be used?
This was a simple but fairly good story. I really liked Finn and what a good friend he was to Jenna, especially when his heart took a few hits with her being oblivious to his feelings. The two friends were comfortable with each other, and she could talk to him easily about anything. But friendship can’t be one-sided and I felt she needed to wake up and really “see” him. Does she realize what he is offering her? Grab your copy and see if they can find that HEA.
[1 star] book is just crappy. its very fast pace, characters lack connection big time.
and the heroine is so fucking lame, she suggested the friends with benefits thing, and when she realise this fuck buddies thing could end badly because they were and friends and she seem to have real feelings for the hero, she decided she doesn't want the friends with benefits thing to continue. and when the hero accepted the fact that the heroine wanted to go back as friends, the heroine change her tune again and say she want a real relationship with the hero and not just fuck buddies.
like WTF is this shit??!! the execution is so fucking ridiculous that i'm forever boycotting this author. one of the lamest book i have read. waste of my time to even finish it.

This was a great friends to lovers romance. Finn has crushed on Jenna, his best friend for a long time, but he has never made a move. After a breakup, Jenna goes to the bar where Finn works as a bartender to drown her sorrows. Jenna decides all men are jerks (Finn is the only exception) and she swears off dating. Without thinking, Finn suggests a friends with benefits situation. Will Finn be able to keep it casual as he falls deeper in love with her? Will Jenna finally learn of Finn's true feelings?
Whoa! This was entertaining and sexy and oh so good. Jenna and Finn are best friends and the classic friends with benefits suggestion comes up. But what I’m happy about is that they admit their feelings for each other pretty quickly so it doesn’t drag out. It’s great reading how they navigate their new relationship and seeing them grow. I can’t wait to read about the rest of the brothers.

This author is always a win for me. I don't even read the back of the book when I see she's the writer. And this story is no different. It is a little longer than her usual books though. It's the story about Jenna and Finn. They are friends. Finn is a bartender and one day Jenna walks in, telling him that she broke up with her boyfriend. The story is told from dual point of view.

Benefits is Book 1 in the new Ripley Brothers series by Kate Hunt. The story of Jenna and Finn is a fast-paced, fun and lighthearted enjoyable book. I really loved the character of Finn but I am sad to say that Jenna I had a hard time with. But the story is still well written.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
The writing itself is good, Finn is endearing and I loved that he wasn't a major player or anything, what gave me pause was Jenna and her back and forth.
