"Don’t rain your emotions on me." 50 bajillion psycho stars!
If there's one character from the Renegade Souls MC series we've all waited for, it's Lawless. Anyone who is anyone knows his book is last. So to be surprised with this gorgeous nugget of a prequel novella was just what book lovers around the globe need right now while the world is going to hell. Covid-19 who? Sorry, Lawless has my whole attention!
He was everything. And I don't say that lightly or flippantly in passing. He was everything we wanted and more. He's such a deep character with layers upon psycho layers. I could read about Lawless all day, every day, for months and never get bored because he's written so dark, rich and deep, that we never truly know the real Lawless.... unless he shares it with us!
I loved every chapter and how it grew the story.
I loved the side characters that made me squeal and gasp, sigh and hold my heart together.
Sexy. Intriguing. Funny and dark.
I know how I want Lawless HEA to go, I've been on that ship for a long time, but the author lady is tricksy and she takes a reader places we didn't know we wanted to go so I can only say, whoever turns out to be this psycho's love of his life, is going to be so damn lucky because he is one in a million.
Every line was a tease.
Every line was memorable.
I desperately need more.

Law Maker was such an amazing surprise for me. From the moment I started this series, one character stood out from all the rest—Lawless. The series has some amazing characters, but Lawless did it for me. I have been waiting for his story since I started the series, but realized that I will have to wait a while longer for his book…I am so glad that V. Theia had pity on me and threw me a bone.

I don't know whether I want to hug or shake this author.
From the beginning of this amazing series, I fell in love with these characters. Lawless was no exception, if anything, he was EVERYTHING. There was just something about him that drew me to him. Just like any character that V creates Lawless is that and more. He is complex and a force in a myriad of ways. This novel expounded on that but it also made me want to scream because just having this morsel that led up to where things are in the series regarding him wasn't enough. It made the itch that much stronger to want to have his story told. However, that also brings quite the dichotomy as it has been said for a while that he will be the last story told. As much as I want that, I also don't want this series to end. See? It is quite a conundrum.
I have always loved Lawless because, well, he is Lawless. He is a biker that has no qualms with getting dirty literally and figuratively, he breaks laws, hates labels, is a sexual savant, loyal beyond all reproach, is crazy (but aren't we all in our own way?), and loves kittens. Yet, those are just characteristics because there is so much more than that under the surface and this novella just gave a glimpse of the wicked smart man that he is showing that beyond all his varying nuances that there is a mystery yet to be solved. AND, I cannot wait.
This is just a novella but it sure packs quite a punch. Things are starting to make sense but there are still many questions to be answered. It always amazes me how this author can give so many details but at the same time keep it succinct and to the point. Very reminiscent of Hemingway. Just another reason that I adore her. This is not a story that you can start with this book. The series needs to be started from the beginning because there is a backstory that plays out throughout the series.

I don't even know where to start with this book, like I know I need to keep it spoiler free but I also want you to understand how FREAKING EPIC it is!!!
Firstly this is NOT a standalone so make sure that you read all the other 7 novels and 2 novella's before you read this because it will spoil the other stories for you.
Next, get some chocolate or ice cream or what ever you pleasure is and understand that once you start this book there is NO putting it down, like your entire day will be dedicated to it simply because once it's over you will not be able to function.
Ok now that you have been pre-warned I have to tell you that Ms Theia has done an amazing job of this book, like my brain exploded into a million tiny pieces and my soul is no longer in my body! I have had a soft spoke for Lawless from book 1 and have spent waaaay too much time wondering about him, so to get this book, and see into him I can't even explain how it feels.
But here goes...
The depth of this character and the story about him and his life is just wow!!! He is beyond amazing, as absolutely f@#ked up as he is, and even after having spend hundreds of pages with him and learnt so much, I feel like I have barely scratched the surface. This is not a love story, this is a telling of a tale and a story in the making.
There will be things that you might not like but from someone who has a weak heart, there is nothing you can't over come in order to understand why.
So just keep an open mind and know that Victoria and I would never steer you wrong.
Big breath and have fun because this is going to be one hell of a roller coaster ride!!!

Lawless

This isn’t the HEA Author lady usually gives. It honestly leaving you with so many questions. This book in no way what so ever should be read if you are not caught up with the series because it will take away a few fun surprises you get if you read in order.
Okay now that that is squared away. Have your tissue. Yeah i said it. Never knew my heart had more room for Lawless.
Forbidden. Nothing is off limits for Lawless. Like i don’t even know what to say other than I’m blown away.
It’s a story that’s already happened. However it gives us so much and so little. Just saying...it’s keeping you so enthralled with this series. This author weaves stories like none other. Leaves bread crumbs making you not able to wait until the next installment of the Renegade Souls. It keeps you surprised even when you knew parts of it all.
Seeing every step Lawless made is just more than words can Describe. V. Theia is such a talented story teller. I loved being able to see so much that had already happened from another POV.

Oh, this new installment of the Renegade Souls MC series is quite delicious!
It doesn't have a HEA(yet!!) this isn't Lawless' main book, that's still to come, but Oh, I could not get enough of this jam packed novella and this intriguing psycho we've grown to know and love over the course of this series.

More questions are thrown into the mix.
One thing I love about this author's body of work is she always keeps you guessing with tiny nuances of clues and breadcrumbs that continually lead to a bigger picture.
Law Maker is a must for readers of this series. It's pointless going in without having read the others because it'll just be a violently charged book that makes no sense to you and you won't have the connections to any of the characters.

Man, oh, man. I need to calm down after this novella.
Lawless is a deviant, a psycho, a dark, devious man who is meticulous in everything he does. Nothing is ever left to chance, not with his smart brain and analytical thinking. After the way his subplot ended in Indecent Lies, I was left craving more, and knowing the answers. Theia gives that and so much more I didn't expect.
Lawless background and his present day merge and it's a story that whole heartedly deserves to be at the centre of those dirty bikers lives right now. Law Maker takes the stage and the psycho enforcer gave a stellar performance!!!
Every side character and little storyline that didn't feel like much but it was everything and grew into the bigger picture.
I love his name.
I love his background.
I love the people he met along the way.
I love how he met the bikers and how they claimed him so subtly.
How can you not adore Lawless and all his dark deviant ways. How he planned what he did and executed it perfectly.
He gave up a lot and we see why he did. We see you, Lawless. Can't wait for more from this guy and this series. I love it so much!

As I’ve read thru all the Renegade Souls books, one character always stood out to me, and that is Lawless. I needed a book on him like I needed air. While this novella is not his whole story, not yet, it absolutely slayed me, I’m an emotional, crazy mess. He is not your typical everyday biker, he is so much more. He is dark, sinister, no soul, tough, yet at times, a side of him comes thru to show that he has a heart somewhere in his body. No matter what he does, no matter what he says, I still love this character so much! As you read, we find out snippets about him to explain how he came to be the way he is. His backstory is mind-blowing and all I wanted to do was hug him. I don’t want to say too much more to spoil it for anyone, but let me just say that this author has me so invested in Lawless that it’s not even funny. There is just something about him that makes you fall in love with him, even though you know you shouldn’t. I have no idea how I’m going to handle waiting for his full story, I’m going to go out of my mind waiting. All I can say, is I hope I’ve convinced you to read this unreal story. It’s just phenomenal!

I finished this book approximately two days ago, and yet I’ve still taken this long to write a single word. How can you sum up a novella that you have been patiently waiting for what seems to be years? I really have no idea, and that’s what has landed me in this predicament. However, I’ll try my best.
Do you ever wonder why someone makes the decisions they make while you just sit back wondering ‘wtf!’? Especially someone who intrigues you to no end and carries this ‘don’t f**k with me attitude’. Since page one of meeting Lawless I’ve wanted to know more about him, to read the world through his eyes and understand just how he can make the crazy decisions we could see. And not only that, but in contrast to this hard, rough as nails exterior, he’s gentle with baby kittens, BABY KITTENS! Ovaries, ladies, ovaries, keep them safe from this man, because ‘BOOM’ doesn’t even come in the realm. He’s simply this enigma that you are drawn to. And drawn am I ever ;D
Back on track… Lawless is a top favorite character to read and I was defiantly not disappointed with this novella. We learn so much about Lawless and his reasons why; his nature, what’s truly shaped him to become who he is. I was wanting more honestly, because I feel like I’ve been given this small sliver to tease me. Not that I feel the novella is lacking, if anything I’m even more anxious for his full length book. I don’t know how V does it with these characters. They are beautifully written and so in depth that you could easily picture meeting some of them in everyday life. Maybe a dramatic life, for sure, but they are so real it’s easy to imagine it. Definitely one of the top reasons I continue to read her work. They are just too good to pass up. And like a kid in a candy store, I just can’t wait to devour the next installment of the Renegade Souls MC.

I will say you can't jump in on book 7.5, you would miss out on so much.
But for the RSMC long timers, this is our book. We waited so long to get under his skin.

A deviant, soulless enforcer, Lawless is the one we're supppsed to hate. We're not supposed to fall for this sinister man. We're supposed to have enough sense to know to stay away from him and his psychotic mind.
What can I say, I'm enraptured by his story. This most definite evil monster that saves kittens shows tiny little slivers of a warm heart in all that coldness. Reading of his past, his journeys to date and the surprising twists was such a mindblowing experience.
I'm eager for the rest of his story as this novella brings many questions that I must have the answers to.

Law Maker is not a romance story. This story is about Lawless’s life, how he grew up, the things that molded him into the man he is and will be. You see the hard shell he shows to everyone, but you also see inside Lawless to the side that does care for Angela. While this isn’t a love story it does give you an understanding and I can’t wait for Lawless to fall in love.

Damn. What a novella.
We knew Lawless was amazing. But to get his backstory. To have that teaser into his past history crashing into his present.
The point that although he created numerous plans, other things can happen that you are unaware of.
I loved this, but roll on Lawless's actual book as I have sooo many new questions

Lawless as been my favorite since the first book. I have been waiting for his book with every biker book that comes before him. This was just a small taste of him. Like not even enough to season meat. But it was a taste that can satisfy until we see him again. You must read if you want to know more about him. Only bad fish don't listen.

Fans of the series have been waiting for a long time for Lawless's story...so the author decided to tease us a little bit more with a peek into his past. How did he become the quiet yet overly-effective enforcer of the Renegade Souls? This is a short and sweet glance into the mind of the man we've all come to know and love...and no matter what you expected to find, this is definitely not it. We do find out what happened to lead up to the devastating ending of Book 7, when Lawless found himself in handcuffs, and we find out why it went down. It's hard for me to write a thorough review without spoilers, so I'm just going to say that you NEED to read this story. It's going to leave you wanting more, but that's okay because guaranteed the author is going to make his full-length story out of this freaking world! If you only just liked Lawless before, you are going to absolutely adore and love him after this little treat. Don't skip over this book!!

OH-EM-FUCKING-GEE!!!
I'm still reeling with love!
I thought I knew what to expect but I was not prepared for the heart thumping ways this book made me feel. I love that we now know more of Lawless' history and why he does what he does.
He's been a series favorite from the beginning. The MC enforcer is seemingly surface deep with his non existent emotions but we see another side of him, one where he cares a lot for a select few. OMG. I can't wait for his main book to see who he ends up with. I feel like there's several contenders and I'd be happy with either or BOTH because with Lawless and his sexual appetites we can never tell where he will go but I love how author mady has led trails to both people.
some parts really tugged at my feelings and others had me laughing out loud.

This book delves deeper for many people’s favourite member of the souls. It is a novella and you will have to have read the others before you read this one.
This delves into the life of Lawless and after the twist in the last book it looks at the reasons behind it. It makes your heartache but you get the reason why he did what he did.
You see the man behind the exterior while still wanting to know more. Kitten tamer, grumpy and other things so much leaving you at the end saying is he going to be alright.
This isn’t his happily ever after yet because that will come later but it is enough to get people needing to know what happened.
Loved the way the book was written. I felt for lawless and if you want to know more about the enforcer this is a must read book.

He’s more complex and has more layers than we could’ve imagined. I’m sure we will see Jay Benz again in Law’s main book. I can’t wait. V Theia has layered and built Law’s story in such a way that it makes you excited and anxious for the conclusion of his story. This one gives you his backstory and some of the key events that shape his dark nature.

I love this souless, sinister, kitten loving biker. You can't help fall in love with him. Especially not after knowing his backstory. This novella tells the story of the past. Of Lawless past. What made him the man he is today. Lawless is a very complex character. He is a restless soul and I loved being in his head. It showed how wicked smart he really is. That maybe this psycho does have a heart. And maybe it beats for a certain girl??
This novella is not the whole story. It was such a tease. But in a good way. There's still so much more we don't know about him. I honestly can't wait for his full length book. I desperately need more!

The enigma that is Lawless is brought to life in this novella. A novella that gives more than most full length books could even dream of.
I would need to cut and paste the whole document here to shows you my favourite bits. It's written so well, that by the end, you just want him.

What can I say about this book besides it was everything! It was just a taste of who Lawless is and I can’t wait until we get more of him! He thinks he is so bad but really he is the best of them all because he sucks you in and won’t let you go until he is ready. He is the best at using things to get what he wants, when he wants them. Lawless is one of a kind, and when he sets out to do something he does it well. Even the devil was an angel.

First of all, I violently object to where I think the relationship between Lawless and Angela is heading. I really, really, really hope I’m wrong. I get that he has a penchant for strays but she needs to be re-homed just like the kittens he rescues, not permanently taken under his wing (or under his body as the case may be)
Secondly, him having to provide her with tampons is about the dumbest thing I’ve ever read. Don’t they have dispensers in the loos? It’s been years since I was in a school restroom so I won’t harp on that. But (but!) I’m positive Angela could have gone to the school nurse (they still have them, don’t they?) to get what she needed. How about a female teacher? Another option would be to ask a girlfriend. So many choices that don’t involve Lawless.

This novella adds a lot information is given on lawless that we didn’t know before . I have some theories of what I think is going to happen. I wish we could get his full book sooner but I hear his is a way off . I may die before then . I normally hate novellas but this one is a must read !
