I read this book for free; I have a free 2 month trial of Kindle Unlimited. Woot!!
The stories are supposed to be from different people. I have a hard time believing that because they all read like they were from the same writer.
The first half, The stories were mundane and average. Boring in some places because it was the same style. There are chapter titles separating categories. My favorite and by far the scariest, which also seemed the most believable was the Ouija board category. This category was towards the end of the book. After reading about Ouija boards, I was officially creeped out. I stayed that way until I finished the book. As you can tell, the second half was better than the first.
Some stories had url links that linked to reddit. I liked this idea because I could go to the source for credibility. If the editor took stories from people online, I wish he/she had urls for all the stories. It would be helpful and the stars (from me) would be higher.
This was a good read with a few of the stories very believable and some not so , and I didn’t read the part about the ufo and aliens as this doesn’t have anything to with ghost.
I loved it. It's an amazing collection of paranormal stories from people all around the world. Some of the stories are really creepy. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in paranormal things, or just in the mood for something scary.
What a great collection of creepy stories. I liked it how the author has not just used ghost stories, there are some terrifying tales of creatures that I’ve never heard of, I’ll be sleeping with the light on from now.
I love all these Tales and can understand a lot of them I lived for my childhood and teenage years in a wonderful 175 year old two story farm house I miss that house and the wonders traits we'd us christinedunne Harlingen Texas the House so Riverdale road I Thornton Colorado
Sorry did not enjoy at all, too many loose ends, threads ,and various disconnected themes. Personally not a big paranormal fan, but if this genre is your preference, perhaps a recommended read.
I wanted to like this one because I usually enjoy ghost and supernational stories, but between the grammatical errors and the believability of most of the stories I just couldn't really get into it and enjoy it as much as I could.
Silly, boring and so many typos! The best part, and this is a line from a story, --It's an old house on even older property, dating back to before the Revolutionary War, around Civil War times. OMH, get the wars in the correct order!
