Want to go on a (long) trip? Here's the book for you! This book talks about everything from how to dare to explore the unknown to the planning phase and then actually going. It contains a lot of tips an tricks that you eventually will learn while on the road, but it is definitely a lot of help if you want to avoid some mistakes or are curious in general. I started reading it for real after already starting my backpacking trip, but as I read some parts before going it really helped me with choosing the right bag for me etc. Even if you don't have a long trip in sight yet, this will push you in the right direction, or maybe plant a seed of interest if you don't think you're really into all that travel stuff.
Thank you Marek for a truly inspirational book! I hope more people dare to go after reading it :)
Excellent. This informative book provides valuable travel advice for budget-minded world travelers and backpackers with a focus on long-term travel. Unlike many other travel books, this one provides incredibly useful advice and tips based on the author's extensive travel experience. The tone is friendly and conversational, easy to read. I would feel well-prepared to travel abroad after reading. Highly recommended for anyone daydreaming or planning international travel.
Received as a birthday present from my brother as I'm currently planning a round the world trip. This book helped me confront my feelings and fears regarding travel and left me with a confident but realistic outlook on how to tackle everything. If anything, it has left me more excited about beginning my trip!
I absolutely adored this book. Not only was it incredibly informational, but Marek also made it such a delight to read. I read the Digital Nomad Handbook by Lonely Planet and enjoyed it, but ultimately walked away feeling more anxious and like my knowledge was still incomplete. However, I read this book next, and everything I had a question about was answered beautifully. Couldn’t recommend more highly!!
"Travel the World without Worries" is not just another travel guide; it's a captivating journey of self-discovery, packed with valuable insights, tips, and tricks for globetrotters of all levels. This book is a must-read for anyone seeking to break free from the shackles of hesitation and embark on transformative travel experiences.
One of the standout features of this book is its meticulous attention to detail. From practical advice on planning and budgeting to profound discussions on overcoming fears and embracing cultural differences, the author leaves no stone unturned. The inclusion of real-life stories and personal anecdotes adds a touch of authenticity, making the reader feel like they have a trusted friend guiding them throughout their journey.
A good overview of backpacker travel from an experienced traveller. Merek shares many great tips and tricks from years of experience, and this was an easy read during the start of my first long term backpacking trip :)
Just a structure note- think the book could benefit at the start from a maybe a detailed 1 week view of a backpacking trip to get a more clear view on what backpacking looks like. You get the idea throughout, but at the start I think I was like wait so what are we actually doing on these months of adventure and wandering
Really great resource! It helped my husband and I plan a trip to Europe for our family of 6 without having ever crossed a continent with our kids before. This book sold me on the idea of just bringing what we could fit in our backpacks, and that was the best decision we made; it allowed us to be very mobile and it simplified things so much. We referred back to this a lot during the planning phase!
I found the book through the indie traveller blog (which is also a great resource). This book gives you the confidence that you can take amazing solo trips and provides handy advice for before, during and after your trip. I will definitely read it again and keep it as a handy travel resource on my travels.
As a non-English native speaker, I loved the fact that Marek presented all that valuable information in such an approachable way. His book is a great source of tips for both beginners looking for inspiration and advanced travellers trying to be more organised.
Was gifted this book whilst planning my first backpacking trip. It was like the book read my mind about details I was stressing and worrying about. Had so much help and information I was looking for all in one easy to read place. Has become my travel 'bible' that I couldn't put down.
This book was incredibly helpful in preparation for my first solo travel trip. It is full of extremely helpful tips and tricks and truly made me feel at ease and well prepared for my travels. Would highly recommend even just for some travel inspiration!!!
A great read for anyone thinking about travelling whether it be for a fortnight or a year...
I am fairly well travelled, but came away with a few little gems and just reading this (which was very easy) whetted the appetite for some more travels!
Super quick and easy to read. Found the tips really useful and put my mind at ease for planning my upcoming trip. Would highly recommend to anyone doing the same.
Very informative read for a first time traveller. Great pieces of advice and tips which I will most definitely be using for my trip round Asia in the near future! Great job!
