Hogmanay: A New Years Kiss Anthology is a collection of short stories which are ready to start your New Year off with a kiss, rather than a bang.

Book Covers & Coffee by Eve L. Mitchell, will draw you into the story from the very beginning. The detailed storyline, characters and emotion will make you forget that this is only a short story, and hopefully the beginning of another brilliant story from this author.
I love cliffhangers, and this was by far one of my most favourite. The anticipation I have for more of this story is extremely high. I hope other readers are also left with need to continue the journey.

Hogmanay:
A New Years Kiss Anthology

I Received ARC For Honest Review.

I Give This Book An Overall 3/5 Star Rating.

I won’t deny I am a bit disappointed with this read, I was expecting stories, not mainly snippets.

**1**
Bring Me and Free by Suki Williams
I Give this Book a 3/5 Star Rating
Heat: 1/5
Type: MF
This was a quick read and minor romancy, but a cute one to fit the count down for the new year.
Cliffhanger: Yes?

**2**
Book Covers & Coffee by Eve L. Mitchell
I Give this Book a 3-3.5/5 Star Rating, listing as 3.
Heat: 2.5/5
Type: MF
Cliffhanger: Wasn’t expecting a cliffhanger and wow! I definitely will read the next part of the story for sure!

**3**
Middle Of Nowhere by Melissa Adams

I Give this Book a 3/5 Star Rating.
Heat: 2?/5
Type: Reverse Harem??
HEA(?): I guess so, it said the ‘THE END’ and they all made the decision to be happy?

**4**
A Highlander for Hogmanay by Bee Murray
No Rating? It’s an Excerpt, so can I really rate? Is it really a cliffhanger?
I personally wasn’t drawn to this story.

**5**
Breaking The Distance by Alexis Taylor & Beth Hendrix
This is two girls on an adventure type and they kiss two guys, and the girls have some crazy adventures. Personally this isn’t my jam, I don’t like these types of books cause it’s like episodes to me, but again that’s just me.

Several cute New Year stories.

Bring Me and Free: Maeve is learning to start over after a divorce. It's a cute story which I enjoyed.

Book Covers and Coffee: Jemma's story is cute. I really liked her character. The ending is a doozy that will leave you wanting more.

Middle of Nowhere: Lily caught her fiance cheating with who she thought was her best friend. Her New Year's Eve takes a dramatic change in plans when she is asked to work. Love this story.

A Highlander for Hogmanay: Who doesn't love a hot highlander, let alone four. This seems like the great start to a story. I can't wait for more.

Breaking the Distance: This is a fun quick story about two best friends. It's really cute.

Being Me and Free-awesome little story of regaining a passion for who you are and moving on to bigger and better things in life. Doing the stuff now before it’s too late, you’re too busy, too tired, too old, too poor... Book Covers and Coffee-well, sparks are flying every which way in this SS. When Jemma finally gives in to her feelings for the hot Aiden, it comes with a bigger surprise than she could imagine. Middle of Nowhere-is uprooting your life for someone the right thing to do? If you love them, I guess? Well the crap has certainly hit the fan for Lily. No fiancé. No friends. Ok one best friend. Maybe two? And maybe her very own harem. A Highlander For Hogmanay-crazy vivid dreams starring a hot man that haunt your sleep for two years. Seems normal. Darcy needs to figure out what’s going with these dreams before she really does lose it. A quick trip to Scotland, pick up a harem...all in day’s work. Breaking the Distance-Nikki picks up and moves to Scotland to live with her best friend. A chance encounter at an eatery results in a Hogmanay she’ll never forget.

Good short stories, but holy cliffhangers, Batman! Do I have to wait for next Hogmanay to find out what happens??

Book 1, I NEED to know what happens next and how her year progresses with her new adventure. Also wanted to punch Devon for being a creep

Book 2, I loved how it started with the book model premise but you can't leave me hanging like that. How does she react? What is the explanation?

Book 3, I thought it was cute minus the abusive Ex and anything associate with him. I would love to read more about how this story moves on in the future and the juggling with their lives.

Book 4, I want a dream guy who comes to life! I can't wait to see how she enjoys the next year and whether she can help Oliphant and his brothers.

Book 5, I didn't really get into this one because it was more about the friendship and then they met twins rather than anything New Years eve romantic but it was well written.

The great thing about an anthology is there is such a variety of authors and stories that you're bound to find a few that you absolutely love. This is definitely worth the read.

My favorite was Book Covers & Coffee, by Eve Mitchell ( 5 STARS ). I've read all of Eve's books so far and while this one took me a couple pages to get into, it didn't disappoint. Eve always has a way with words that just sucks me in, but these characters are so different than any she's written before. Aiden exudes such dominance and confidence in everything he does. Whether it be work, or getting under Jemma's skin. Jemma appears to be your typical shy, bookish girl - but that all changes when she runs into Aiden. He brings out a side of her she didn't know was there. This story gives you all the feels, and not just good ones. It will leave you with your jaw wide opening wondering what happens next.

Haud Hogmanay

Another really good anthology. It is a shorter anthology but still as good. Below are my favorites:

Book covers and coffee by Eve L. Mitchell
Yups definitely need this to be made into a full length book. I mean come on. Way to leave a girl jonesing for more.

Highlander for Hogmanay by Bee Murray
Can't wait for the full length to come out in March. I'm definitely hooked and I need to find out more. I wasn't sure with the Highlander title but yup I need it

OMG, this was an amazing read from an amazing group of authors. Each of these stories will grab you and keep you interested and you want to know about them. The characters are great and seem so real that you feel as though you know them and you want to be there with them to help them succeed. The stories move along at a great pace making it an enjoyable read. This is a must read to start off 2020. No doubt about it.

I love this anthology, you get to connect with the characters as they start the new year. Its completely amazing how much love and passion each story has from each of the authors, and you definitely feel it. With each word you are pulled in more and more. Yes each author still uses their own style but each story is very smooth and easy to read. I highly recommend this anthology to everyone.

Oh Suki! What a great opener story... fantastic character building that piqued my interest and had me looking for more. Great!

Omfg! Why would you leave me hanging like that Eve? What a ride - round two? Please? I'm not above begging 😉

A sweet and sexy short, exactly what I have come to expect from Melissa! I can't wait to hear more about Lily and her men. Hot!

Inticing! Great introducion to the rest of the book, had me wanting more! Looking forward to reading the novel!

An unlifting fun short read that had me grinning from ear to ear. Further adventure tales from Sonya and Nikki are something I am definitely looking forward to!

I don’t usually read anthology’s, so I have only ever read a couple. But I’m so glad I read this one! It’s brilliant each story is completely different but they all revolve around a New Years kiss. I’m really gutted they were all so short as for each one of them I just wanted more! I’m so glad I read this as not only did I get to read work by a couple of authors that I love but I’ve been introduced to new authors that I haven’t heard of before so I’ll definitely be looking into reading more of there work.
I really do recommend this anthology, you won’t be disappointed 😊

These short stories are great!! I couldn't put this book down. My favorite was Melissa Adam's short story Middle of Nowhere. The characters are so well written and I hope that we get more of Lilly, Neil, Cisco, Zee and Lance. I definitely want to see where they go from here after meeting on New Years that changed their lives forever.

A hodpodge of perfect New Year’s Romance

I love this anthology! I usually read anthologies to find new-to-me authors and this set did not disappoint! I love that the stories run the gamut from MF to RH and even a bit of folklore/paranormal thrown into one. Definitely a quick, good read. Some typos & grammar errors, but they did not detract from the stories for me.

A great holiday read

I really enjoyed all these short stories, some were better than others but everyone of them were interesting and well written. Only thing I disliked was gettting my heart broken when the story ends. I need answers. I can't wait for more of all the characters.

I read the second story in the anthology, and it's amazing. I connected with the main character Jemma. I loved her point of view, and I loved Aiden right up till the end. Looking forward to see what will happen next for them.

Fantastic Anthology:
This Review is for Eve L Mitchell's: Book Covers & Coffee:
Holy crap, I loved this. This is one helluva story.
Jemma finds herself in a coffee shop with a book with a hunk on the cover and the day goes downhill from there.
I was hooked from the first chapter and by the end I had no emotions left. Eve totally used them all up!
This had better not be the end!
