I am torn between 3 and 4 for this book. I finally rounds it up to 3 stars. I do like this book. Its just..... there are too many plots/ twists and the author brings it into conclusion way yo fast and too unbelievable. OTT.
The chemistry between Piper and Alesandro was good at the beginning. Then somehow isntead of getting hotter, it getting dimmer and then sizzle out towards the end.
Overall this is OK read for a cold humid weekend.

To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect when it came to this. I went in blind. I mean I expected it to be a typical love story with HEA, but there was so much more to this. The characters were complex,
They were different, yet they still held familiar traits that attract me to these kinds of love story and characters.
Alessandro is a Single father that's trying to make ends meet and make his son a better life, so he gets a tracking job in the UK and jets off over there, while on the flight he meets Piper, his seatmate, and it didn’t take them before the two of them hit it off, and one thing led to another and they spend what was meant to be a normal boring flight into a hot, steamy session.
Piper is going to the UK for school, and she isn’t too happy about leaving her family behind, so once she set eyes on Alessandro... she knew she wanted him. She knew she needed to see that sexy god naked.
After parting ways once they hit land, they both expected to go and get on with their lives.... but no... Alessandro and Piper's story had only just begun.
The last person Alessandro expected to walk into his class was the woman he’d just messed around with on a flight over and she was just as shocked. They both thought they’d never see each other again, but of course, that’s not how fate works! Alessandro was a bit of a dick to Piper at times, almost to the point of me wanting to reach in and slap him upside the head, but in saying that, it made him a better character and suited his role perfectly. Piper wasn’t one to take it lying down either, she was fierce, and a little spitfire, and though she ran to begin with, not wanting to deal with it, but once everything was laid bare, neither she Alessandro could deny what was between them. Their connection is was intense, the chemistry between the two and the tension only tightened as the boom progressed.
This story was amazing, in every sense of the word. It held many tropes, which I love most. It was forbidden, kind of an enemies to lovers, single dad romance, and it was hot and steamy, to say the least, but of course. True to the authors fashion, she went and through in some twists and turns I didn’t see coming. At all. And some of these twists weren’t light, but the author delivered them perfectly. They didn’t go into major details but still held that intensity and frankly I was a little shocked.
I loved this. I went in to this expecting one thing but at the same time, I wasn’t sure what I was expecting but it wasn’t sure ha I got, and that’s not a bad thing, I love it when an author can throw me off guard, it holds my attention, it keeps me on my toes and second guessing and the author did just that with this book!
She wrote it well, her words flowed with ease but I expected nothing less!

I just love the way A.M. Hargrove writes, so full of love and compassion. One Shameless Night is no different.
I love Piper and Alessandro were made for each other from the moment they met....and dont even get me started on little Gabriele!! Gah! My heart for that little man!
Alessandro may have been perfection, his heart is massive for all her cares about. He loves so deeply. Irresistible.

When the gorgeous Italian guy Piper had a hot encounter with on her flight to the UK turns out to be her new professor, she's down for a little one on one instruction from him. Broody single dad Alessandro is not, however. He needs this job desperately. He has a young son, Gabriele, he needs to protect from his ex, and having a job is one way that helps with that. So no exploring his unwanted attraction to Piper, no matter how much he wants her. His feelings toward her confound him, and it makes his behavior toward her more than a little dickish at times, but Piper doesn't take his behavior lying down *wink wink*. Nope, she's feisty and independent, and she sasses back. I loved that about her!!
There's surprisingly a lot more to this sorta enemies to lovers story, though, besides unwanted attraction and a broody af single dad professor. There's a lot of drama and action and twists that were completely surprising but were a great part of Alessandro and Piper's love story. Add in adorable little Gabriele and a whole awesome secondary cast, and what One Shameless Night presents is a sexy, suspenseful, emotional love story. I am so looking forward to the next story in the West Sisters series now.

I absolutely hate finding out that a book I signed up for is a second in a series. I don’t understand why it’s never put on in the blog sign up link.
Even if it’s a standalone, sister- book, companion book. It should be said! Especially if characters from the other books/ series make an appearance.
I just hate reading and feeling lost when people pop up that I should know already because of their story from another book.
This is a new to me author. So I had no clue about her other books. I know I should’ve looked up this book before signing up for it. But I literally just signed up for this book trusting that everything would be ok.
The whole mystery/ suspense in this book left me a little taken back. I even reread the synopsis to see if I missed that. I’ll be honest... I wasn’t feeling it.
I wasn’t feeling anything in this book. The main characters, the little boy. The whole drama in this book. The synopsis and what I just read do not Mach up. This book is nothing like what it says.
And as I read on. I was like what! The stalker/rapist storyline felt out of place.
Ok... the cops come to her asking if they could use her as bait for this stalker/ rapist. She agrees! The cops assure her that they will be watching her the whole time! She had cops in her house setting everything up!!!
Once everything goes down and everything happens!
They come back with they didn’t get anything on tape!! WTH were the cops doing? You’re going to tell me all that time they spent setting up. And they didn’t make sure everything was running properly.
Then we have the baby mama drama. Where Alessandro Ex-wife is an alcoholic and killed their little girl because she was drunk driving.
Their son almost dies, but made it.
Now 6 1/2 years later. Just meeting Piper once. The son keeps asking Piper If she would be his mom. Because he wants one. And that she could be Alessandro’s wife.
I think it’s safe to say this book wasn’t for me. I was not feel the writing style. I couldn’t connect with the main characters or get into this story.
I really wish this would’ve been different.

One Shameless Night by A.M. Hargrove is book 2 in "A West Sisters "series. This is Alessandro and Piper's story. Piper and Alessandro meet while traveling and shared this extremely intense moment on the plane yet went their separate ways. Piper caught Alessandro's attention with her sadness and even though they had that moment on the plane, had that shared chemistry, sadly they went their separate ways to never meet again...or would they?
Piper is going to college overseas in the UK and finds out that the hot guy that she shared an intense moment with on the plane is her new Professor and he acts very cold and distant/unfriendly towards her. Then she finds out he is a father... yet the chemistry between them still flares hot and deep.
There is several suspenseful parts/moments in this read that will have the reader engaged, trying to find the answers. The twists are great and the romance is phenomenal. I liked the main characters- I did think Alessandro was a bit of a jerk at times but the ending was so good. The feels, steam, angst, suspense, intrigue, passion, excitement and romance was brilliant! I can't wait for book 3!!

Thoroughly enjoyed reading Piper and Alessandro's story ... And he was such a sexy and wonderful H .... And Gabriele ... Piper was also smart, capable and had a great relationship with Gabriele ... Loved reading it ...

I really could not get into this book
Alessandro Balotelli a literature professor also a single father, he's Italian so swoon-worthy hero right there ticked off, he's also got a past with his ex, hence being a single dad and very protective of his son. All he wants is a quiet life and to keep his son safe.
Piper West is on a trip from the USA to the UK where she will be studying, she is sad about leaving her family and she ends up being a blubbering mess on the plane.
Piper and Alessandro first meet when they are sat next to each other on the journey, Piper is in a state of sadness and Allessandro is a good listener. One thing leads to another and there's a bit of hanky panky under the covers. They never expect to ever see each other again but they do.
Allessandro is Piper's professor.
All through this book, I felt bits were thrown in for the readers sake to keep you interested, a bit of hotness tick it off, yes they will like that, a forbidden romance, tick, yes they love that, a bit of ex-wife drama, tick, oh yes they will like that, a bit of danger, a bit of single daddy cuteness, a bit of love-hate going on, do you get my drift but it didn't feel real, the plot didn't feel real, and I know its fiction but I just kept questioning everything as I went along the characters or any of what Allesandro's child came out with sometimes just left me with a puzzled look. I would reach a part of the story and think why is that all of a sudden thrown in.
ONE SHAMELESS NIGHT just didn't flow for me, it was too descriptive with conversations and I really could not get into this book at all or connect with the characters.

One Shameless Night by A.M. Hargrove is book Two in A West Sisters Series. This is the story of Alessandro and Piper. I have read the last book "One Indecent Night" and the Epilogue did start their story but really you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Alessandro is a College Professor from Italy that has taken a job teaching in the UK to work to get his son a better life. Alessandro is a single dad who ex is nothing but trouble which has set in motion some issues for him and of course his son. Piper is an American College Student finishing her degree in the UK. Neither Alessandro nor Piper know each other but they meet on a plane when they are seated together. They have sparks flying and have a heated encounter but they both walk away thinking never to see the other again. But that isn't the case when Piper goes to school and Alessandro is her professor. But the man she meets this time is totally different...harsher and cut off. Alessandro doesn't have time for soft emotions because he is staying focused on his son and job. Which lead him to do say some harsh words. But between his son falling in love with Piper and her getting into danger he might not be able to walk away.
Enjoyed their story and hope to read more from this author.

5⭐ & more guys! September couldn't have started a better way with reading good books and this definitely is one of them books!
Alessandro, where do I even start with this hot, sexy guy? First of all, he's a difficult person, clueless, in denial, but sexy has hell. He’s also committed, thoughtful and smart, and a dedicated single father!
Alessandro and Piper met on a flight home and things got a little heated. The next time Piper saw Alessandro she was very surprised and he treated her like a complete jerk. She has a happy-go-lucky air to her that is fun to read and she feels real. She had me cheering her on every single time and for her to be a strong woman she is not to let Alessandro push her away. Even though I feel like he doesn't have a real reason for hating her, yes its forbidden, but he doesn't have to hate her and treat her like a jerk!
Thank god for Gabriele, his brilliant and outspoken son, who has the sense to immediately see Piper for the incredible woman she really is. I just love Gabriele! He's just a lovely boy! And all of their family members who supported them, family who always support each other just makes me warm in the inside when reading it.

In certain situations without meaning to Alessandro is quite entertaining, “and I was what? Effing it out of you?” It hit me as funny and I laughed hysterically and couldn't stop..." I have read almost all of A.M. Hargrove’s books and let me tell you…her books just keep getting better and better.
Her stories continue to surprise me, but one I know to be the same is that her books are AMAZING and I have a hard time putting them down. One Shameless Night is no exception to this rule.
One Shameless Night covers a couple different genres. It is an enemies to lovers theme, with a little bit of a forbidden theme, but it is also a single parent romance. One thing I have always said about Ms. Hargrove’s books is that she writes the most adorable kids into her stories, and Gabriele was no different. That kid absolutely melted my heart.
This book was full of surprises. It will have your heart feeling like its on a roller coaster. She gives us the perfect mix of humor, sexy times, and suspenseful drama. This was definitely a page turner for me.
One Shameless Night is the second book in the spin off series The West Sisters. The sisters are the cousins of the West Brothers and if you haven’t met them you need to!!! This is a complete standalone and this series can be read in any order and you don’t have to read the West Brothers series to enjoy this series., but I highly recommend reading the The West Brothers series at some time, because you will want to meet those hunky men ;) This book is told in Dual POV. I thought the flow and pace of the book was perfect. I will warn you a little, there are some parts of this story that might be hard for some readers to read or could be consider triggers. Nothing is overly graphic, but just know that where the author takes this story might be hard to read.

I loved seeing Sylvie and Evan again in this story and I liked seeing more of Reynolds (the third West sister) I look forward to reading her story next.
I would 100% recommend this book. If you are a fan of the single parent or an enemies to lovers romance, then this is one that will take your breathe away!! Add this book and the others in the series to your TBR list NOW!!!

A West Sisters Novel....
Now don't let the above scare ya, it is a part of a series spin off but can be totally read as a stand alone. That being said, here is my review....
After the tease at the end of One Indecent Night, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Piper's story. Her chance meeting with a stranger on an international flight and wowza what chemistry.
This is a fast paced novel. There is no sugar coating or slow burn here. Ms. Hargrove goes straight to the meat in the story. And boy there is heat and chemistry between Piper and Alessandro!
Oh Alessandro!! What a swoon worthy Italian hero. His back story is so heartbreaking, I got a bit misty. But then I wanted to shake him for his attitude towards Piper when they meet again. Grrrrr....but that makes the story even better, the angst and fiery dialogue between Piper and Alessandro burns up the pages!
Piper is quite the heroine. She goes through so much in this story!! Being so far away from the family that she loves and the struggles she goes through. I admired the way she was able to come through the other side of all that she went through with strength and determination.
The secondary characters are fantastic and seeing past characters surely doesn't distract from the main story but bring more to it!
You are going to love the heart, heat and family-ness that shines in this story!! Well done Ms. Hargrove and I can't wait to read Reynolds story next!!

Piper West is a mess. Leaving her beloved family behind, she heads off to Cambridge for her degree. On the plane she meets a devastatingly handsome man and the long flight quickly because a lot more interesting, stopping just short of punching her ticket into the mile high club. She's shocked to arrive at University the next day to find him presiding over her class! Despite their insane chemistry, the no fraternization policy makes a relationship off limits, not to mention, the charming man from the plane has turned into a complete jackass. But as time goes on and more is revealed about Alessandro's past, we begin to understand his reticence. Events unfold that become every parent's nightmare about a child (even one in college) living abroad and these events bring professor and student together as friends and then more.
To be honest, at the halfway point, I wasn't in love with this story. I'm personally but a fan when the characters are mean to each other, then all of a sudden, change. The story turned around for me at the halfway mark. Gabriele and Antonio were a breath of fresh air and an adorable addition to the book. I appreciated the complexity of the characters and the depth of the storyline and once these two got their act together, they were lovely.

I was lucky to get an ARC of One Shameless Night and this story starts off with a bang (the good kind) but unfortunately when Piper shows up to the first day of the semester she is shocked to see Alessandro there and even more surprised he wants nothing to do with her. Certain circumstances push Piper and Alessandro together and a forced friendship quickly leads to more. However, will Alessandro acknowledge his feelings or will his past dictate his future?
I enjoyed the love story part of this and Gabriele, Alessandro’s little boy, is the cutest thing ever.
Without spoilers, there is a very traumatic event in story and I was destroyed. It could be a bit too much for some-it’s not sexual or overly graphic but it is violent so if that’s a trigger then I wanted to warn. However, I think the aftermath of this event was dealt with perfectly and respectfully. People change after such events and AM Hargrove wrote with the event and its affects exactly how I would want it written. I love A.M. Hargrove books! Every single one grabs me by the heart and won't let go. One Shameless Night is definitely no different. Piper West is a force to be reckoned with. I went into this book thinking I was getting a sweet, forbidden love story, and I got that plus a whole TON more!! There were so many twist and turns, it was more suspense romance than sweet. And I am all about it!!
Alessandro and Piper are amazing characters; each so layered and well crafted. They have so much love to give each other, but are so quick to push each other away. Until a surprise comes into the fold, Alessandro has the most adorable son. Gabriele steals the show for sure. He's every bit the charmer that Alessandro could be, if he wasn't being a dick! There's so many twists and turns in this story, I felt the love story was actually second to the rest, but it builds, it wains, and in the end, it soars!!
Piper and Alessandro have a difficult journey to their HEA, the journey is so worth it. A.M. Hargrove has crafted a story that I devoured! Each of the West sisters are fantastic ladies and deserve their delicious men, Piper especially. This was a hard book for me to read. In paper, it has two of my favorite tropes: professor/student and single dad. But in reality, I couldn't connect with the characters and that made them hard for me to relate to. Piper frustrated me a lot. She was too gullible for my tastes and not strong enough.
I couldn't see/feel the connection between Alessandro and Piper, it was weak for me. And I feel like the story was rushed in the beginning and when they met again it didn't flow well. At least not for me.
For me the story was a bit all over the place, a lot of elements from different tropes were thrown in the mix and in the end it was a mess. I feel like the author could have chose just a couple of elements, instead of a lot going on in the story. It made for too unnecessary drama and it lacked in angst in the end.
I was curious about Piper's sister and her husband, because the way they were mentioned and they interested me more than Alessandro and Piper, which is a shame.

Allesandro is carrying serious baggage. He wants no relationships, all he cares about is his son ( who is a serious highlight of the story).
Allesandro and Pippa start a serious hate story that changes over the course of the story due to some surprising circumstances.
This story is about overcoming inner fears, learning to take that leap and open your heart.
It deals with some serious issues, so be prepared for an intense ride.

This is my 4th ARC from the author and I'm so stoked to receive this one. I'd read the blurb accidentally while scrolling through Instagram and thought this sounds alluring, and so I signed up.
It is sort of a combination of enemies to lovers, falling in love with your professor and a single dad romance all rolled into one. It's also an amalgam of drama, action and humor. What stole the spotlight from Piper and Alessandro was the kid—Gabriele... he was adorable, precocious and sweet. If it weren't for his insistence I don't think there'll be a love story to read about. Intrigued yet?
Overall, I enjoyed the story. It's not really a light read as there are parts that touched on violence and alcoholism... if you're a fan of love stories with a couple of unexpected twists, then this is the book to pick up next.

A trans Atlantic flight becomes so much more for Piper when she becomes over freindly in the back of the plane with her seatmate, Alessandro. And low and behold he ends up being the professor in one of her classes. The connection between the two ends up being so much more, but when skeleton's from his past come into the picture will this hurdle be too much to overcome? Or will instant passion and instant connection solidify a new beginning for them both? I fell in love with this couple from the plane ride and with each chapter I became more invested in their story. A.M. Hargrove creates true to life characters that flow through passion and emotion very easily. Book 2 was even better than book 1 in this series and both are recommended very highly.

This is my first book by A.M. Hargrove and I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t what I expected. There is the hot as hell, single daddy, sexy foreign professor Alessandro who is all that and a side of whipped cream and then there’s Piper. She’s young, American, sassy and a student. The two hook up on an international flight 😉 and things snowball from there. Not only is there the underlying taboo love story going on but also a mysterious stranger who adds a level of suspense and danger and a conniving ex wife who also adds to the plot. An enjoyable read filled with a hint of suspense, danger and lots of sexy times with a picturesque visit to the Italian countryside.

I thought One Shameless night was a good story it had my attention from the blurb then kept it from the start and still held me captive long after I finished it . I've read many books by the author and I can't wait to read more by her . This would be book one in the Wst sisters novel and can be read as a standalone. Liked the characters everything about them was amazing the only thing that frustrated me was how things were handled . Over all this was a good story with likable characters and I can;t wait to read more by the author in future .

Welcome back to the crazy world of the West Family. We get hilarious moments of unexpected comedy, sweet children who steal the show and drama that comes out of nowhere.
This is the typical world the West family lives in and we couldn’t have it any other way. You will fall head over heels in love with Alessandro. Geez that man is hot!!
Piper has West blood running through her...what else can I say? Lol!

The second book in the West sisters series does not disappoint. I loved the unique storyline and twists the author put into Piper’s story. It had everything from suspense, second chances, romance and of course the laughter and the hot scenes involving characters we have grown to love in this series. Gabriele stole the show in this story for me and I fell in love with this boy and of course his father. One series you do not want to miss because it’s fantastic and one you will certainly enjoy.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I'm still fanning myself!! Piper and Alessandro’s story was great and totally off the charts. I love that its a bit enemies to lovers and forbidden due to the fact that he is her teacher. They meet on a plane flying her back to the UK and sparks fly. There is also false assumptions in the beginning that set them back. Tons of ups and downs. This was a great read - I definitely recommend!!!
