The only man in my life I felt I could trust was my father.

A detective assigned to San Diego’s gang crime unit; his focus was outlaw motorcycle clubs.

His nemesis?

A gang of thieves who had wreaked havoc on the city’s financial institutions for nearly two decades.

As fate would have it, I was preparing for a one-night stand with a tough-looking biker. As long as my father didn’t find out, everything would be fine.

If he learned of my fling with the tattooed bad boy, I could certainly talk my way out of it. The odds of Taddeo ‘Tito” Silva being in my father’s crosshairs was impossible.

Or, so I thought.

TITO can be read as a stand-alone. It has no cheating, no sex outside the relationship, and an HEA.

From the prologue’s peek into the future to the peek into the past (these 6 MC members as kids that walked through the fields of Montana to find the perfect fishing hole), I was enamored by the tale told in this book.

We all view an event, happening or scenario differently. Depending on our points of view (or our perspective) one person will see an event one way, while another sees it in an entirely different light.

This holds true with Tito (the man, not the book). It’s immediately apparent that he sees the club much differently (at least now) than the other men in the MC. He views their brotherhood, missions, and their life’s goals much differently that his comrades.

We get to peer into Tito’s personal life from the beginning, which is a nice change of pace. With many of this author’s MC books (with the exception of ROUGH), we see the character’s view of the club, and not so much a view of their life beyond the clutch of the MC.

Tito’s personal life left me laughing, scratching my head, and hoping for a spin-off novel (the silver fox Braxton Rourke, please).

The ancillary characters in this book are second-to-none. Hap, Tito’s seventy-year-old retired Marine neighbor, kept me in stitches. Hap’s son, Braxton (who manipulates crime scenes, plants evidence, and tosses dead bodies off the Santa Monica Bridge for a living), intrigued me beyond words.

Okay, enough rambling, The story.

Tito’s hat blew away. The hat was a very important item in his life (the loss of this one thing sends him into a frenzy that leaves him questioning his life, relationship status, and his participation with the club).

In his quest to find a new hat, he meets Reggie. She’s a college graduate who manages the shopping mall surf shop where he purchased the hat ten years prior. She’s quick-witted, has lady balls, and is recently (6 hours) out of a relationship with a man who cheated on her.

Reggie wants to do two things: Burn her ex’s belongings in her back yard and have a one-time roll in the sack with Tito. That’s it.

Beyond a new hat, Tito doesn’t know what he wants.

At the end of the first date, everything changes, and it’s not what you think.

Watching (with this novel, reading is like watching) the growth of these two characters was unlike anything this author has previously written.

Carefully, cautiously, and optimistically, I flipped the pages, waiting for the axe to fall (I was sure that someone was going to die), enjoying each chapter’s growth as it unfolded before my very eyes.

There was sexual tension, angst, action, intrigue, more action, more sexual tension, wonderful love scenes, HOT love scenes, more angst, and laughter. In fact, laughter was sprinkled throughout this novel like fairy dust at a unicorn convention (the two drunken women dancing around a burning couch with a knife in one hand and a bottle of wine in the other was priceless).

We already know who Tito is. Let me take pause and give you a sneak peek into Reggie’s life. Mel, her drunken best friend, is a perpetual internet dater who makes BAD decisions with her choices in men.

Raymond, her flamboyantly gay co-worker was freaking hilarious. Her father Ted “Tank” Gottschalk is a detective who takes no shit, lives by the direction of a fine-tuned moral compass, and focuses on gang activities in San Diego County.

His nemesis?

A gang who has been targeting banks and other institutions as their favorite places to rob.

(Oh shit!)

He’s vowed not to retire (he’s reached the age of retirement but refuses to do so until he catches the gang in question) until he rains on the gang’s parade.

So, Raymond prances around with his perfectly sculpted eyebrows and meticulous makeup while Mel dates serial killers.

Hap, Braxton, and Tito drink beers on the porch every Sunday while deciding which of the Kardashian sisters they want to run over with a truck and which they want to fuck into a coma.

“Tank” is hot on the tail of the robbers he’s been chasing for 15 years.

Tito and Reggie’s relationship progresses.

And, people die.

When the smoke cleared (no pun intended), this book was Hildreth’s best ending to a series, ever.

If you haven’t read this series, I HIGHLY suggest you do so. You can still buy books 1-5 for 99 cents (yes, five for 99 cents, and then add this one for 3.99. That’s five bucks for 6 of the best MC books
you’ll ever read.

Or, read this as a stand-alone. It’s written in a manner that’ll let you enjoy it without scratching your head.

But. Whatever you do, read it. You’ll certainly thank me later.

TITO WAS LOUDER THEN THE SQUIRRELS

LMAO- The people in my hula-hoop will understand the above title to this review.
I will openly admit that I am easily distract, that I overthink, and that I have named the distractions of my head, “squirrels”. So as much as I love to read, I usually break it up, maybe read some in the morning with coffee, a chapter or two during a bubble bath, maybe a couple pages before I fall asleep, but TITO completely high-jacked me yesterday, yep I was in pj’s all day with kindle glued to my fingers.
Scott Hildreth’s latest novel left me speechless….. So I am going to state right off the bat, I will most likely not be able to express how much I LOVED this story, because honestly in my head it is still happening.

Ok my thoughts on the book……
If I am honest I did not love each and everything that happened in this book, you know why, because I am an opinionated, mistake making, selfish, human being. Yep, I judged the characters when they were not doing what I wanted, yep I commented that what they were doing was wrong (in my eyes), yep I stated more then once WTF!!!
BBBBUUUTTTTT what draws me into a Hildreth novel every time is his ability with the magic of his storylines is to teach me while reading that I am limiting myself to experiencing ALL of the characters by creating these barriers, especially when I do not even know I am until I look back to what I thought I knew. And for me, when the light blub finally goes on, the transformation happens, and everything else falls away TITO was by far a blast to read and grateful tool of JOY to grow.

*Giggle*
Yes I am giddy with excitement to try and explain to you about these characters…..
I am not going to get into many specifics because of spoilers. I will state that you will be blown away, NO ONE can be put in a box, trust me I unknowingly tried. *Clapping* But I promise you will LOVE LOVE LOVE each and every character you read, everyone will find that place in your heart and not just hang out, they will take measurements, arrange furniture, and hang curtains because they are here to stay.

The above words have been a thread that has been through out the series and the knot this author created within Tito is second to none, one that can’t be described it has to be experienced as you read. The experience that you will have reading this story will stretch you, it will push you, and it will make you grow. Often when I was reading this novel I questioned, “what would I do” (remember I state right off the bat that I am completely aware of my faults, *wink*). What Mr. Hildreth brilliantly did was turn my head in another direction to show me perhaps I can look at it differently…. HOW FREAKING COOL IS THAT!!!!!! Let me try and explain further. This may sound weird but through the progress of this novel I was able to forgive, gain compassion and deep empathy that was not there before. ANNNDDDD the bigger bonus was that it went beyond the novel I was able to think if I am creating these barriers as I read a book then I am probably doing it in real life, and the insight I learned from the novel now jumped to the situations that happen in my life so the growth is not limited to the novel—the barriers are down and the people in my life get a better version of me….

I cannot leave this review with you thinking that this novel will weigh you down, because I do not think that is not how Mr. Hildreth rolls…. The laughter OMG!!!!!! Raymond, you will DYE, he is sooooo hilarious, only a tad more then Tito’s neighbors, YEP that is all you are getting, you MUST 1-click this book to find out more…. Gift this AWESOME, OUTSTANDING, BEAUTIFUL, EXCELLENT, AMAZING, novel to yourself!!! Psst…. LOL could not decide on a proper adjective in last sentence and since the squirrels are back, they suggested I use them all!!!! Not sure if any of this made sense, hopefully I expressed the idea that this novel is a MUST READ RIGHT NOW book.
ENJOY and HAPPY READING!!!
That is it, that is all I got…

While Tito can be easily read as a standalone, it is best enjoyed after reading the rest of the Devil's Disciples MC series by Scott Hildreth.

Tito tells the story of Taddeo “Tito” Silva and Regina “Reggie” Gottschalk. Neither were looking for a relationship. Tito hasn’t had a real relationship since a life altering event ten years ago and Reggie just ended her four year long relationship after finding out her boyfriend was cheating. But, what starts out as attraction and what should be a one night stand quickly turns into so much more.

Tito and Reggie have more in common than they realized and truly enjoying spending time with one another. Both need a change, and they seem to offer that to one another. While they seem so compatible however, Tito’s past as a member of the Devil's Disciples MC and his future as the man dating a woman whose father just happens to be the detective tracking down an outlaw MC gang for the past decade may be an insurmountable roadblock they just can’t conquer . . .especially when one final job doesn’t play out as expected.

Tito, the Devil’s Disciples and Detective Gottschalk will have to determine if there are shades of gray in between the black and white of right and wrong and, whether or not the good outweighs the bad in when lines are crossed . . . .all without breaking Reggie’s heart.

Tito was the perfect ending to the Devil’s Disciples series and really brought the entire story arc full circle. While this is Tito and Reggie’s romance, this story is also about where the club itself goes now that they’ve been living life on the edge for the past 15 years. It was fabulous to see how these MC brothers have grown throughout this series as they have matured and found relationships and reasons to exist outside of the club, but also yearn to maintain their bonds of friendship and brotherhood.

As always, Scott’s characters are witty and enjoyable to read and, while the main characters are the focus, ancillary characters, such as Tito’s old neighbor, Hap, steal the show. There’s always so much more than meets the eye and the plot has incredible depth and never quite leads you to where you think it will. Yet, once Scott leads you there, you can’t think of the book ending in any other way.

New readers can jump right in, and fans of the series will love catching up with the rest of the MC brothers and even a few surprise appearances from old favorites while ending the series on a completely satisfying note. 5 stars.

With this being the last book of the series I'm a bit disappointed. A lot of my feelings are due to Tito. He came off as very blah. It seemed like Tito latched on to Reggie because she was there when he was freaking out. Sure they were good together, but I have a hard time buying that Reggie was able to take Tito and all of his weird answers about the club, due to her father being a cop.

I also had a hard time buying how the last job went, that Cash finally grew a pair and was going to do the right thing for the club and lastly I have a very, hard time buying the choices that Ted made at the end. It seemed to me that the series ended with a fizzle.

Enjoyed this but don't think it was as good as the previous ones. Maybe because I knew it was coming to an end. I did like how it all wrapped up though.

Now onto another Scott Hildreth series

Liked hearing Tito's backstory and Reggie seemed to be a good fit for him (though I do question her moral judgment after the tirade of being cheated on). I'd taken a break from finishing this series as the tone seemed condescending and petty; this one proved to be the same. For example, the "simple" explanation of craps came off as condescending. If Reggie was this fact genius, she would have some idea of this game. As for petty, I was tired of the hate the author has for the Kardashians (note: I am indifferent on this family), and the games of FMK to hate on certain celebrities was disgusting. There were also inconsistent traits of all the characters. After the first two books in this series, I expected it from the members of the MC but Reggie's fake dream? Describing a woman with long hair that reaches from a treehouse to the ground and she didn't think of Rapunzel?! From an intelligent, "intellectual" with a degree in theatre?!!!! Come on!

Tito broke my heart at times, the loss of his hat, the reason behind it. The incredible chemistry between the two main characters made it easy to love them, that they both then fit with friends of each other just added to that. The suspense though nearly finished me, I felt sick for the MC, after all the good they have done, Cash was always the big risk and I just knew it would come to a head at some point. Fast paced read that had me smiling then holding my breath and even tears at times, exciting and several twists just to keep it edgy. Loved it completely, totally had my attention throughout and I could easily have read more of this couple.

I knew from the first book that the genius would be my favorite. I think that i've been reading through all the books just to get to Tito and I was not disappointed. I thought his story was just as beautiful and fascinating as the man himself. I also have to say that the woman who stole his heart is also beautiful and fascinating and I think that she just so perfect for him. Another amazing story from an amazing author.

I loved Tito’s story and how he stepped up and not back when it came to being who he was and not willing to hide it from the father of the woman he fell for , especially the daughter of a Cop and one that had TFF on his Radar. I loved how completely different men from different lives came together for the live of one woman

I’ve always wondered what an MC romance book would sound like (in my head) written by a man, I’m pleased to say it’s exciting, fast paces and deeper than a lot of others. I liked Tito a d loved how strong and independent Reggie was.

You know when a series comes to an end, that little bit of dread you have about reading the last book?
The oh I can't wait to see what happens that coincides with this is THE END, anything could happen..
I always want to take my time with it, savor the last book full of characters I've come to love, even read the entire series over before starting that final installment.
I was looking forward to reading Tito for what seems like forever, I jumped in forgetting that it was going to be the end and just enjoyed the ride.

Tito is bittersweet for me. It was all that I expected and more, it was a pretty damn amazing read with a great ending.
It also brought me to tears with one little line... I miss you Brother Ghost.

We had all the players from the previous books and focused on Tito and Reggie.
Their story is pretty amusing and a bit sad at times. Reggie is just what he needed but not never knew, he knew the person she is is what he always wanted he just never thought he'd find her.
They have things to overcome, he has things he can't discuss with her and in these books I always wonder how a relationship can grow with so much the couple can't talk about but it worked, which I always knew it would and I think that's part of what keeps us reading and loving those types of books.

Tito has everything. There's the MC business which could bring everyone down, a budding interest/relationship that could honestly have never gone another direction than it did, secrets, action and a hero you never expected.
Actually in my eyes there are two.
One that I honestly never expected and one that I held out hope for.
Overall I'm glad I didn't drag my heels trying to make this one last, it was one of those perfect endings to a series that I loved from the first chapter of the first book. The way it all went down is sort of the closure the reader never knew they needed until you've finished the book and soaked it in for a few hours.
As always I loved the writing, the protective Alpha male who wasn't a completely controlling jerk. Tito loved everyone and wanted to protect them all but had to make a choice, one that affected everyone but ended up being the right one for not just himself but everyone involved, even those who weren't initially directly tied to the Devil's Disciples.
Am I sad the series is over?
A little.
At this point I'm more thrilled with the culmination of the series, the ending each beloved character got and the fact that Ghost wasn't just a small mention, an afterthought. His memory was a part of this book numerous times and while it brought tears to my eyes it also made me smile.

What a finish

After reading Ghosts' book it took me awhile yo finish the other 3.
I just finished the final one. Tito was the wrap that this series needed.
What an amazing story, told by a man who can really write a tale.
I suggest you read them all from Baker to Tito a group of men and their ol'ladies who make their tales worth it.
Great stories bring out all the emotions of the reader.
Thank you, Scott.

Tito and Reggie, great couple with intellect, humor and chemistry.

It's the end of the road for the Devil's Disciples and how does Scott Hildreth do it? By giving us this story. He's part of an MC who robs folks (mostly bad guys), takes care of drug dealers, rapists and other evil types. She is the daughter of the detective out to find the allusive "gang" who's been committing serious robberies over the last 15 years.

Reggie is in a league all her own. She finds out her boyfriend cheated on her with a stripper (that he knew) and he's out. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. She warns him, you leave anything I will set it on fire. Think Angela Bassett in Waiting to Exhale...now car involved but what a lovely little bonfire in the backyard, with a bottle of wine in one hand and a steak knife in the other.

Tito has been feeling uneasy. He senses it's time to call it quits before they get caught. With everyone pairing up and in some cases starting families they have a lot more to lose than when the first started. But how to bring it up to his brothers. He's fallen hard and fast for Reggie but he knows "this one last job" had better be it, he won't chance his future with her.

Now interesting was the conversation and relationship that built between Tito and her father, Ted. Daddy tells her right away any biker who works managing a few car washes is up to no good. Everyone knows those car washes are just a front to launder dirty money. She doesn't buy it but you cringe thinking....oh sh*t, he's so close to the truth.

As the relationship grows and we find out more about Tito's neighbors Hap and his son Braxton we see Tito has a good, strong secondary family. Hap is funny and an all knowing "wise ass old man". Braxton, now his profession is complicated but comes in very handy. I also believe he needs his own book.

I won't give away the ending, you need to read that for yourself. I will say that if you have read the series you know that Cash can be a HUGE pain in the ass. Well this time proves no different but what he does when it looks like he might have made a mistake that will cost all of them their freedom...I wanted to hug the a**hole and tell him NO!

It's a good ending to a good series. I'll revisit this MC from time to time.

Gaahhhh!!! This final book in the Devils Disciples series is epic!

Mr. Hildreth never fails to amaze me with his writing.  He writes with such realism.  You know these are fictional characters, but he makes them so real!

This is Tito & Reggie's story, but it is so much more.  You get extraordinary secondary characters. You get humor, some real laugh out loud moments. You get heart and of course you get the heat and smexiness you come to expect from Mr. Hildreth without fail.

You get the brotherhood that are truly a family of best kind, a family by choice.

Tito has got the brains to do some incredible things.  He has also experienced a personal loss that has affected him for years.  He is looking for some closure, he is looking for peace and he is trying to find his future free of constantly looking over his shoulder.

Reggie is a kick-a$$ heroine.  She is fierce, she is independent and she makes no apologies for who she is.  She wasn't looking for Tito or what he represented, but when they meet, it's amazing!

This was a fantastic conclusion to the Devils Disciples series! You will get a warm feeling in your soul when you see how things play out.

You can never go wrong with a Scott Hildreth story! I am always amazed at the stories that he puts out in the world!

I cannot wait to see what he comes out with next!

This is the perfect ending to the Disciples Saga. Tito is your typical biker, hot, sexy and full of tats but he is so much more. Tito hasn't been the same since he lost someone several years ago, but he is determined to change that, determined to try and be happy. I wasn't sure what I first thought about Tito when started the book. He didn't seem to be like the rest of the Disciples but now I think he's my favorite.
When Tito and Reggie first met she was getting out of a bad relationship. Tito was the perfect gentleman on their date and soon the were inseparable. These two fell for each other quickly but they were both perfect for each other.
Tito was tired of the club life, tired of the criminal activity and wanted out but was talked into one more job. He was tired of not being able to talk to Reggie about things, tired of the illegal activity. He had a bad feeling about the last job, afraid it was going to be the downfall of everyone. He let everyone talk him into it and sure enough things went south and quickly. I don't want to spoil for other readers so that's all I will say about that. Tito and the gang get the break of a lifetime due to one special cop and soon things are great for everyone. I hate to see the Disciples end but this book was the perfect ending.

I'm going to start off saying if you haven't read any of the Devil's Disciples books yet you need to. Tito steals my heart and my forever love of this MC. These bikers are more then just your typical bikers. And when you read Tito you will understand everything. I love the bond Tito has with the rest of the club. He is beyond amazing and an overall awesome guy. He fast became my number one in this series. Reggie is fantastic. I love her and her feisty ways. She has amazing lady balls that will make you laugh out loud throughout. Her relationship with her dad is such an amazing bond. The way she is with Tito makes you yearn for a connection like that. All I can say is I couldn't get enough of Tito and Reggie. Scott Hildreth had my glued to my kindle. I seriously was like in my own little bubble while reading Tito. Oh and wait to you read this all the way to the end because you will love what Scott gives us as readers. Tito is one of those reads that you want to shout about all over the place. Please one click this entire series if you haven't yet and read Tito you will not be disappointed.

Saved The Best For Last

What an end to not only an incredible Series but to a crew we've followed and loved.

Tito is the last of the DDs to meet his fate. He certainly wasn't expecting to find Reggie on his shopping quest but there she was. Her simple strengths of beauty, brains, and humor have Tito grasping for the one thing he'd lost...hope. That hope was partly dimmed when Tito was educated to Reggie's upbringing but she was more than worth the risk.

Hildreth once again delivers not only exceptional moments with club members but his supporting characters deepened our affections and loyalty. Hap and Braxton were nothing short of brilliant. Their banter and support were priceless. And Hap's take on celebrities was EVERYTHING!

This Series was an emotional and exceptionally well written journey. Family, blood and chosen, friends, mistakes and repentance, loyalty, and love are all vividly brought to life as an example of what acceptance and happiness can do for the soul. Thank you for this journey!

As always, Scott Hildreth delivers a wonderful story!

Tito is such a sweetheart and Reggie is the absolute perfect woman for him. From the moment they meet, you can feel the chemistry between them and recognize that they are a good fit together. Reggie and her best friends Mel and Raymond are a hoot. Tito’s neighbor Hap, and Hap’s son Braxton were also great characters. I laughed out loud at their Sunday discussions, arguments and games. I really liked Reggie’s dad Tank and had a lot of respect for him. He deeply loved his daughter and would do anything to see to her happiness.

The men and women in this series are all such special and unique characters. I fell in love with each of them and got lost in their stories as they met and fell in love. I hate this is the last book in the series and feel as though I’ve said goodbye to an old friend.

Lastly, I still miss the adorable Abby and sweet Ghost (a/k/a Porter). The two of them would have loved that ending.

I can't wait to see what Scott has for us next.

Tito is book 6 in the Devil's Disciples series. I have not read all the books in this series but the ones I have I absolutely love and if you haven't read any yet I just have one question....what are you waiting for?!?!?!

From the books I have read in this series I have been dying to know more about Tito. His character intrigued me from the first words I read about him. I could not wait to know more about him and as always Scott gave me what I was hoping for and then some.

Tito meets Reggie in her store when he is need of a new hat. He falls for her and wants to leave the MC to build his future with Reggie but Reggie only sees one thing when she sees Tito...sex. Their story takes them through some dangerous times but in the end Tito got the wonderful ending he deserved.

Scott delivered another out of the park story in Tito. The characters were developed so well and the plot had me hooked from the very start.

I would recommend this book to anyone.

Closure of a great series

I am emotional writing this review because knowing this is the finale of this series. I became invested in each character and looked forward to reading their own stories. The development and growth and insight of each character from book to book has stayed with me.
Tito and Reggie's story had the most changes in the characters and storyline. I loved their relationship. Reggie's relationship with her dad reminded me of my own bond with my deceased father. He was protective but allowed her to be strong, independent and did not interfere in her life. His acceptance of Tito was extremely crucial to a future for their relationship.
The author wrote a wonderful conclusion to the series. I was not sure how it could possibly end well for the Devil's Diciples given what they are, but he pulled it off. A fantastic ending to a wonderful series. I am going to miss these characters!

Absolutely The best one yet!!

First let me say that my heart is heavy because I’m really going to miss these guys. All the riding, planning , laughing, ugly crying and the love. What an amazing end to a truly amazing series. Scott took us on another awesome journey with these incredible characters. I literally was glued to my phone and kindle all day . Tito and Reggie are my favorite couple. Tito from the start stole my heart , I’m so happy he finally found peace and the love he was looking for. The times with Hap and Braxton were awesome, I was laughing out loud sometimes. Reggie is incredible and she has such fire and intellect she fits right in.
The whole series has been incredible and life changing, they are all must read adventures. But this book truly was a phenomenal ending and I’m so excited to have experienced it ❤️
