In the Age of Myth and Legend, Thetan’s Fallen Arkons raged against their god across the endless Fimbulwinter, until the Sphere of the Heavens awoke, ripped open the boundary betwixt Midgaard and the Nether Realms, and ushered in a new age of horror where even gods could die.

When Lord Angle Theta and Gallis Korrgonn crossed swords in Anglotor Tower, good battled evil, villain fought virtue, man met monster, and only one survived. But which one is the hero, and which the devil? Or are they one and the same?

Absolutely loved this book and the entire series. This one covers theta's back story as well as the continued fight against Korrgonn. Definitely recommended

What amazes me in this series is that when you think that you finally understand the plot and the end 'might' be coming, then, at an instance, the plot thickens. The next thing you know, you are getting goosebumps and thinking in your head, "OMG" this is why I cannot put this book down. After reading this latest book in the series and I know that Glenn is far from finished writing this series, and I love that. This latest book not only entailed the most detailed battles than the rest (which battles are one of the big reasons why I love reading these types of books), but the book leaves you with MORE questions. I cannot wait to learn more about Lasifer's grand plan. Will he and Midgaard finally battle each other? What part will Theta play? What about the war on Trolls, undead, and the vampire Count? What about the politics with the Eotrus and Alders? Will they put their differences aside for the bigger cause? What part will Claradon play? Finally, is Theta Sa-tan? Who really is Theta (Thetan), and did Azathoth really tell the truth? Two main reasons why I cannot stop reading this series. The suspense and politics remind me of Game of Thrones because you NEVER really know what will happen, and the battles, wars, and evil instruments remind me of Lord of the Rings. I love how this book also incorporates the Norse and Christian religions and somewhat tells the origin of the two (How Odin lost his eye and many references to how Azathoth and his followers use their smooth tongue to lie and manipulate, similar to the Devil and Demons in the Christian religion). Looking forward to reading more, and if you include a short recap of the series, that will help a lot for our memory purposes since this series is over 13 books now! Keep up the great work Glenn. Nothing is as it seems in Midgaard

Good Ending

I enjoyed the series very much even though it is not something I normally read. I struggled through book seven too many venues with to much death and destruction but eight and nine where the back story was told got me back on track and I enjoyed the rest of the series.

Still a good series but he needs to wrap it up soon. Starting to get a bit long in the tooth.

The truth comes out.

At long last book 12 is out. From chapter 1 to almost the end it was all out war. Form the Tower to Myth an Leagues. A lot of shock and awe when the fog cleared. Well wrote an not a bad read.

P.S. Mr. Thater I did notice the you would repeat yourself. For example. He was bleeding for with arms a gash on his cheek an covered on blood. I would turn a few pages an you would repeat it The the same way like I was reading the same page. This happened through out the book.???

Glen has done it. This volume is by far one of his best. If you love medieval fights, sword and sorcery then you are in for the ride. The references to the devil, God were not missed. I loved how he was able to take the mythologies and craft it in his own way. A truly epic tale has been brought to life and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. A truly gifted author.
