Bren-Lee seems to be a very intelligent young lady book wise, but she surely isn’t that bright when it comes to Troy and her heart. Regardless of what her mom and Merci warned her about, she should have clearly listened to her heart and her body. That uneasy feeling she had about be back with Troy was the main reason she should not have gone back. Now she has been Burned in again just as Merci warned. I feel book 2 will be predictable but nonetheless I am ready to dive in. See yall over there

This book kept me interested but it was pretty predictable. I am going to still read part 2 because I want to know what sorry ass excuse Troy is going to use this time for his infidelities 🙄

Good read
This is my first read by the author and she definitely didn’t disappoint. I’m glad brynlee found out and hopefully she can move on. I didn’t see sawyer coming end at the end.

This was a good book. It held my attention but ended on a cliffhanger. The main FMC, Braylen, suffers from infertility and it has taken a toll on her relationship with her fiance, Troy. After a terrible fight where he says some awful shit to her and hits her, she leaves him and moves to Texas with her family. There she meets Sawyer, a rapper. She has a great time with him but then Troy comes to TX to win her back and this idiot goes back with him.
Unbeknownst to Braylen, Troy just had a baby on her with another woman! The story ends with her finding out about the baby.
I was so pissed this chick went back not only bc the reader knew about the baby but also bc nothing was resolved! All Troy did was apologize. They didn't have any discussions about the hurtful things he said and did. So nothing was resolved when she went back to him. It was like all he had to do was say sorry and she forgave him. That's bs.
Unbeknownst to Braylen, Troy just had a baby on her with another woman! The story ends with her finding out about the baby.

Braylen and Troy have issues in their relationship after so many miscarriages. Troy tell Braylen that her vajaja was damaged of why she couldn’t keep their babies(I said it in the nicest way I could). Braylen pack all her stuff and moved to Texas where her family and friend was without Troy knowing which she come across a rapper named Sawyer. They started off with drama from Sawyer baby mama Kelia but that didn’t stop anything. Kelia is in abusive relationship with a dude named Spencer that can stand Sawyer. The ending has pissed me off that Braylen went back home with Troy without telling Sawyer anything but to go back home to find out he cheated and have a baby with another woman but after that Sawyer pops up. Headed to get part 2 to see what’s happen.

First read by this author (urban fiction isn't my go to but this read was cool). Most of the characters you get to read their view pov .
Brynlee was going through hard times not being able to hold her babies full term. Instead of growing closer her fiance and she, the bitterness was tearing them apart. So Brynlee returned to where she tried to stay away from. Everyone is looking for love or walking into love in this novel. You get to choose your cutest couple because there was Brynlee, Troy, Jadore, Sawyer, Kelia, Merci, Nix, Grey...Who are you rooting for?
Sawyer is a hood hip hop star with a foul mouth. But maybe this bad boy may be just what a good girl needs or will she try to make it work with her fiance? Sawyer comes with baby mama drama who has an abusive boyfriend and things could get pretty messy. Sawyer is a fast forward type of dude who introduces Brynlee the first date to his parents and son and I'm like slowdown partner! Really I think Brynlee should pump the brakes because Sawyer just wouldn't be my type of guy because he may be a nice guy but he's a hot head.

Wow!
The book started off well , I love how it didn’t just jump into the good parts it pulled you in slowly... Brynlee & Troy relationship was understandable I mean being with someone for years & many failed pregnancies, I can get were the frustration & anger came. To be excited for something only to end up disappointed time again but Troy was wrong stepping out & slipping up on Brynlee that was so disrespectful especially the nasty shit that canoe out of his mouth. That was a low blow. I’m glad Brynlee met Sawyer he’s exactly what she needs to feel that void that Troy gave her. Merci & Nix I knew from the rip that was a dead situation so I’m not gone speak on it. Spenser Is crazy & needs help hating on Saw like that. I like Greyson. But the ending my goodness Sawyer got me excited for what’s next!!!

Hummm...., nice, great start, but a little bit unusual....
So this is my first time reading this author, and so far in this book, it's not that bad.
Brynlee, wow, smh, this is the type of female that leaves a sour taste behind because of stupidities. So indecisive, so childish, so arrgh, really annoying and truly not my favorite out there. Hope she finds out how wrong she was.
Sawyer, Humm.... That I can rock with. Bae, alpha, hood, thug, boss but also, gentle, romantic and know how to treat a lady specially if it's the right one.
Troy, wow. Disgusting, selfish, weak, and just annoying, but what do you know, it's always those that brings the most headaches for the females.
Kelia and Jadore, well the baby mamas drama is never too far from them.
Merci was truly a good friend and all of the homies had Saw's back.

Lawd where is part 2?! Brynlee was dumb and clueless to a lot. Just straight up stupid like Merci said. This was one time she should've listened to her mom because she most definitely made a big mistake dealing with Troy again. Jadóre played into Troy's bs but she was wrong for what she said to Brynlee. Sawyer was everything! Yeah he was hood but that didn't determine the man he was or was trying to become. His baby momma was doing the most and she should've just told him what was going on with her instead of assuming he'd realize something wasn't right. I hope more becomes of Merci and Grey because Nix needs to be left in the past. I'm hoping Brynlee can get herself together and when the timing is right focus on building with Sawyer.

Great Read
This book was so good from beginning to end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters and it flowed really well. So glad that Brynlee, finally found out about Troy cheating behind before it was to late. I really liked her and Sawyer together and hopefully, they'll work everything out. Waiting to see how Merci and Grey relationship blossom. Now, after that ending, I can't wait to see what happens next. Already the start to a great series...Job well done Prenisha Aja.

Sawyer and Grey are men after my own heart! All I could hear was bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do when they come for you. Bryn nor Merci didnt know what was happening to them. These two beauties were on a different level or at least they were trying to be until the bad boys showed them what loyalty, support and a big heart will do to you. I hated that this book had to end, however, I am waiting patiently for the next installment.
Sawyer and Grey are men after my own heart! All I could hear was bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do when they come for you. Bryn nor Merci didnt know what was happening to them. This book is definitely a great read. The drama and betrayal at its best. Sawyer who came from the struggles is doing his thing with rapping instead of being a street king. He has a crazy baby mama who needs help mentally . Brynlee a inspiring journalist who’s hit with betrayal from her boyfriend deserves happiness. She’s been through a lot. Nix I thought was cool until he didn’t understand the word no. Merci the party promoter whose going to find happiness with Grey. Definitely a page turner can’t wait until part 2 with that cliffhanger

Okay For This Storyline
So this was a really good storyline. Brynlee's story is one that some women know all too well. It's very real and had me in my feelings when she was going through it. Troy and Jadore deserve each other. I had high hopes for her in the beginning but in the end she showed her true colors. Now Merci, that's my kind of friend. Tell me what I need to hear not what I want to hear. Sawyer.....that man is bae. He street but not in the streets. I love it. Can't wait to read part 2.

Always a good read!
Prenisha always makes sure she delivers! I knew from the beginning Troy was no good with just the way he was acting to Bryn. My heart hurt for her to have to go thru what she did so many times. The last straw was when he put his hands on her. Sawyer was truly a breath of fresh air for her. I loved her bestie held no punches when keeping it real with her. I can see Keila becoming more of a problem in the long run just out of pure jealousy. I need part 2 like yesterday!!!

Definitely Rocking Witcha!
I'm not feeling bad because sometimes we have to go through the fire to view the other side. We have to make sure we assess the damages to see what needs to be salvaged whether destroyed or not. You have to be prepared with whatever it is presented to you when coming out of flames. I enjoyed reading the first installment because we all have to learn that sometimes going through leads us to that happily ever after and hoping that's the case. On to the next. Great Read! ReneeG 👍

WOW... A GREAT READ
Whew, talk about drama. This book had me locked in from beginning to end. Very well written storyline. Great set of characters that will have you rooting for their happiness while wishing the downfall of others. My heart went out to Brynlee because she wanted so bad to be a mother. Troy was a real piece of work and didn't deserve Brynlee. Im rooting for Sawyer and Brynlee. As for Grey and Merci, I'm all for them being together. Excited for what's going to happen in part 2.

Wish I can give 10 stars
First and foremost I must say I wish I can give 10 stars the storyline straight up fire not only that the author grabbed my attention but she just pulled me into the story I'm starting to flipping pages and can't get enough,, Sawyer is definitely my type a dude not only is he who but he real with it I don't know what Troy was thinking but he got what he deserved I'm glad she couldn't have any babies by him but I can't wait to see what part 2 holes come on soil pull through out freaking standing I gotta move on the part too

Brynlee need space went back home to Texas to be with family and friends. She met Sawyer the local rapper was attracted to him she was feeling him she had unresolved issues with Troy. Merci is getting to know Greyson who she met running she getting too know him. With the betrayal from Troy what will she do next. What will happen next with these couples. Can't wait for book 2.

I was so deep in the story, next thing I knew there was a TBC. Brynlee made some bad decisions but it's ok I'm gonna let her live. I'm so glad she knows now so she can get tf on. Sawyer is a good dude and he seems like he's good for her. But we all know how it goes when you break up with someone and they see you doing good and you're happy, here they come. That's Troy. Jadore needs to be slapped and then she can go. I know that goodie goodie roll she was playing wasn't the real her and I hope she gets what she deserves. Can't wait to read part 2.

Prenisha you did the darn thing as usual. This book was so good. I love the way the story flowed. Crazy Drama
This is the first book I read by this author. The characters all have issues. I loved how everything comes together. I wasn’t expecting the cliffhanger. Side note: I wish those that leave a review be a little more vague because some of us like to read them to see if the book is worth reading. Or at least put SPOILER ALERT near the beginning so that your review don’t spoil the books for others.
