Kate enters his life and turns his world upside down. He may be the most sexually experienced out of them, but after playing hard to get, she will show him there is more to life than screwing around. This is a lovely short story, great characters with an interesting storyline. It’s a crossover story so I am going back to read the other books as I need to know what happens next
“Like I said before...I don’t think that you can handle me.” “You might regret saying that.”
Ruthless. Cunning. Manipulative. A fierce businessman. Cross with caution because you never know what is up his sleeve...This is the brother we love to hate (secretly we have a soft spot for)... Mr. Adam Walker.
Womanizer and a strong business man Adam is sent off to Australia on his father’s request to close a deal ‘by any means’ and while he’s there, why not throw his boomerang and see who he will catch for the night.
But, it seems that Adam will catch more than he bargained for with fiery Kate and within a short space of time Adam hardshell is about to crack open. For the first time, a woman actually wants to know him, Adam, not the money power side of the Walker name. Now, it’s only a matter of holding the plane off long enough for Adam believe that Kate could be the one to unlock his heart.
Kate looked like an angel destined for sinning and I was determined to be the devil she lost her wings for.
The rumours about Adam Walker are the only warnings Kate receives before her lands eyes on him at work...now she just has to restrain herself from stepping into the sly fox’s den-or rather bed!
One night of hot sweet passion has Kate (yes breathless) and believing that there could be more to this Englishman. Kate has a past of her own, with Adam she is able to let down her defences and allow herself to feel again. But their time together is about to come to an end.
But...Is something about to be swept onto the shoreline that could see Adam and Kate sailing together again?
Adam & Kate…<3 I couldn’t wait to read this! You knew Adam character from the previous books, the hints that there could be more to this character than he let on and then boom! I loved reading this, Kate she was the perfect match for Adam, strong character that kept Adam second guessing and brought more of his character out into the open.
Everyone needed a villain and he filled that role perfectly, no doubt for so many of his competitors. For me, however, he had become my light in the dark.
This story can be read as a prequel or read once you’ve devoured Tangled series. Without giving too much away I simply say...READ THIS!
We could be so much more. We could be everything. And that was a terrifying thought.
Lizzie James has created a world of power, passion and intrigue with her Tangled Series and Tangled Pieces is a wonderful addition to it.
A crossover with her Kindred series, Tangled Pieces tells Adam Walker’s tale from his own POV, providing me with a new perspective on him. I was always a Nathan fan from the Tangled series but this story has definitely changed my opinion of Adam.
No spoiler her but a beautifully executed transition into The Kindred Series at the end of this book will leave you wanting to read more from Lizzie James.
Missing Piece - Kindred #1 Perfect Fit - Kindred #2

This is a Tangled and missing peice crossover the 2 series interconnected with characters. I wont give much away on how they are connected but i will say OMG what a story. I was looking forward to reading Adams story. As most people know who has read the Tangled series know Adam is a badden but i always felt it came from a good place having read this novella it certainly shows him in a new light.
Adam has always hated his brothers role in the business and curses the day he is sent on a business trip to Australia, a job that would normally be given to Nathan. But when he arrives and his meeting is delayed he decides to sight see but wants a certain blue eyes as his tour guide. Will Adam get his wish? What will happen when a certain someone from back home shows up to take him home?
A brilliant addision to both series. A well written novella that will appeal to anyone who has read bith of the Tangled series and the missing peices series.
I would highly reccomend this to be read in after the other books and not be read as a standalone as i dont think most of it would make sense if you dont.
Lizzie has knocked this one out of the park. A crossover of two of my favourites series with a typical lizzie twist at the end. I went into this book with a slight dislike of the main character but that changed throughout each chapter. I ended the book with a new appreciation of adam, and the ending.....just wow!!!
