I have read Mainak Dhar’s books before (03:02, Line of Control & Sniper’s Eye) and knew I could expect a good story with pace. That turned out to be correct, and as with the other books, this deals with terrorism as the backdrop as well. This book continues with Aaditya Ghosh from the Sniper’s Eye, but is a new story which can be read independently if you so wish.

Aaditya Ghosh (ex-armed forces) is now part of the security in-charge at an oil company. He is on the way to Paris for a vacation with his wife Zoya and child Aman, and the plane is hijacked. The plane is diverted to Afghanistan and the terrorists have a prize catch, with a celebrity on board. Aaditya is surprised as he runs into a familiar face from the past, but will it help him and the other hostages see freedom, and if so, at what price?

The book is a page-turner and the story moves very fast. There are no pretentious twists and turns and it is honest. The character behaviours though, especially Aaditya’s, is overdone & unrealistic (a case of trying too hard to make the central character more likeable) under much of the circumstances in the book. A more nuanced and sophisticated approach would have increased the appeal more. That said, this is a fast read, which you can get done with quite quickly, and leaves you with a good feel when done.

My rating: 3.5 / 5.

As the name suggests the first question which came to my mind was what doesn't a sniper may have?
The story starts at a cliff as the author goes back and forth as the story unfolds Major Aaditya Ghosh is an ex-army officer.
Zoya and Aaditya had been dating for a few months, after facing death together, they came closer than ever before. Events that had brought him face to face with a sniper, who had tried to kill him. A sniper, in whose memory he named our son. On their trip to Paris when their plane got hijacked was the turning point. As the hijackers landed down in some remote area in Afghanistan. They demanded the release of their freedom fighters who were held captive in America. The hijackers took Aaditya and two other people hostage and threathed to kill him like they did to American if their demands weren't fulfilled. Now the question stands if Aaditya will survive or end up dead in this journey? Or who will save him and his family? How will he outsmart terrorist?
The story is a suspense thriller with twist and turns keeping the reader's mind engrossed and on the edge. Even though the story has a serious mode the author didn't miss out the the part to humor in between. And the characters depicted were interesting.
I loved this book and it's a suitable read in this time of lockdown.I would recommend this book!

𝑴𝒚 𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘: The first thing that intrigued me about this book that there was a statement on the cover that it was better than Tom Clancy. I have my own opinion about that. I will come back to that later.
This is the 2nd book in a series and apparently a lot had happened in the 1st book. You definitely need to read the 1st to understand why Aman has decided to help Adi. The exposition of the story is brief as the main characters have already been introduced in the first book, but we do a brief glimpse of the history of the Major. The conflict and the inciting incident has been quickly introduced into the narrative structure so as to keep the readers hooked. The narrative is linear so it is not confusing at all. The rising action in the narrative is fast paced. I liked the fact that the author had brought the whole scene from the plane settings to the ground setting making it more exciting. Of course there is a different thrill to the whole closed setting, but on an open setting like the ground, the writer has more creative liberty. The falling action of the narrative foreshadowing the climax was one of the most exciting things I have read, especially in a thriller book by an Indian author. There is definitely a sense of patriotism exuding from the protagonist, especially when his family is at stake. It is personal now. This is a great selling point of the book.
I am impressed by the writing style of the author and I will definitely pick up the first book to read. Hopefully I will get the books in hard copy. Now coming to the point, if this is better than Tom Clancy, Well, I am a fan of the Jack Ryan books. While it is true that this book is a benchmark for Indian thriller writers, I am yet to see a complexity worthy of Tom Clancy books. This is my personal opinion. Rest assured, Sniper's Debt is certainly a stand out among the books that have been newly released. #the_biblioscribe definitely #recommends☝️

Maj(Retd). Aditya Ghosh, a pata commando, is on a flight from Mumbai to Paris with his wife Zoya and infant son Aman for a family vacation. The things go wrong when the flight is hijacked. A high profile US citizen is on board and the hijacker wants to negotiate with US government to release some jihadis but is this it? Or if there is something more to the story.
As they say that the soldier is never off duty, the major swings into action immediately and this begins a high intensity drama of chase and rescue.
The plot is full of interesting twists and turns. I really want to write much more about the plot but at the same time don’t want to give out too much so as to keep the suspense intact. I particularly like the character of Maj Aditya , brave and full of sarcasm. The author has crafted the characters very well.
The cover is apt for the storyline as so is the title; interesting and arousing curiosity.
The language is crisp, lucid and easy at the same time. The pace is medium but there are no dull moments.
For me this is one of the best reads of the year 2020.
If you love thriller this is one book that can keep you agog in spite of being predictable.

Sniper's Debt is the second book in the series. It's a sequel of Sniper's Eye. The story starts when the plane in which the protagonist of the story Aaditya is got hijacked. Along with Aaditya his wife Zoya, his baby Aman and other passengers were also there on the same plane.

The hijackers wanted the release of their freedom fighters who were held captive in America. Will Aaditya be able to save himself and his family? Will he be able to save all the passengers? This is a nail biting thriller with so many twists and turns.

The plot of the story is strong and this is an unputdownable book. It gave me thrills while reading. With a fast pace, smooth narration and strong characters, I would say that author has done a great job. Would definitely recommend this book to all thriller lovers.

‘Sniper’s Debt’ by Mainak Dhar is a book that revolves around Aditya. Aditya is on a flight with his family to Paris but little did they know that what this vacation will bring for them. Soon their flight is hijacked and is diverted towards Afghanistan. Three passengers are even kept as hostage and there are certain demands that they want the Government to fulfil. Little do the hijacker that Aditya is there on the flight amongst the passenger who will surely give them a tough time. Will the hijackers be successful in making the government agree to their demands? How will the hijackers be overcome? To know this read sniper’s debt.

My Thoughts:

The plot is excellent and gripping. Literally the whole time there was this only question going over my mind that how are they going to come out of this situation. How will the hijackers be taken over but the ending was the best.

The characters are well written and well developed. I loved Aditya’s character a lot especially the way he handles the situation. Aditya’s character shows the real spirit of our military men and how they put others before anything and everything else.

Language is simple and lucid and the readers will find no difficulty while reading the book.

The book cover and the title is very interesting and apt to the plot.

Overall, I would say that it was a very thrilling book and would surely recommend it to all.

A good survival-thriller story indeed. Sniper's debt is the second book of 7even series thriller by Mainak Dhar. A gripping tale and a pure entertainment. Anybody can pick it up and read effortlessly. Author's storytelling technique is the main factor which is helping the reader to sail through the pages. Because the plot is an age-old story which is told by many filmmakers and authors. So what makes this an interesting read? The answer is it's second half portion. We will witness some twists and fast paced thriller from here. I personally felt that the book picks up its thrilling speed only after 60% of the story is done. The author manages to end it well. Also there is an interesting epilogue which hints to his next book.

The portrayal of traumatized ex-military protagonist is done in a perfect sense by the author. Major Aditya Ghosh thinks and act like an elite para military soldier because he never let go his past. He is a battle hardened soldier who is trapped in the civilian life. He wants both but he can choose only one by sacrificing one for other. However at the beginning and somewhere at the middle, the story became monotonous in nature. But you can gladly pass those pages for the good climax. The author really concentrated on the multilayered personality of the protagonist. Other than that, all other characters has very shallow depth. Perhaps, it is written in that way. Because in thrillers, usually the main story moves along with the protagonist only.

Overall, it is a nice thriller read. Recommended.

Story in drafted in way that keeps reader on the urge to know what happens next. There are some part while I hold my breaths it's was just like we are praying for hero to survive in movie and when he does we get relief. The twist and turns are capable to suprise reader and giving rise to curiosity. The ending just killed me because it's announces that story to be continued in next book so yes awaited. Major Aaditya Ghosh who has long retired from the Indian special military force Paras, is enroute on a vacation to Paris with wife Zoya and son Aman. Soon their flight is high-jacked by a group of men who claim to be from ISIS and the flight is force landed in the middle of a deserted land-strip in Afghanistan. The hijackers demand release of seven criminals from the US jails and to mount pressure on the US government, start killing few passengers onboard.

Aaditya doubts there is more to their plan than getting back their men, as their conversations sound dubious. Without any ammunition in hand and struck in an abandoned place with family in tow, there is little that Aaditya can do to get out of the situation. What is the real secret behind this hijack drama and does Aaditya save himself and family from this unexpected situation forms the rest of the story.

This is the second book in the 7even series by the author Mainak after Sniper’s Eye. The main characters are retained from the previous book, as this is a series and the action is shifted to a new location and a new task for Aaditya. The author made sure to recap from the first part as needed, so that the readers who did not read the first part do not miss out on details about the characters. Though the reader would not face any continuity issues, I would highly recommend reading the first part as well, as it is an interesting thriller.

As a premise, while a hijack story might sound like a known one, the landscape and backstory chosen are highlight of the book. The USP of the story is the protagonist struck in an unknown land with zero support faced with the herculean task of saving his family from such ruthless men. The author smartly involves the various forces who function out of Afghanistan like the Talibans, the American forces, the ISIS, the locals. If you are aware of the history of this place and the current happenings in this part of the world, then you would enjoy the story in a better way.

From page one, the story moves at a very fast pace and is high on adrenaline rush as it keeps the reader on the edge throughout with unexpected twists and turns. The action sequences are very well described, effortlessly transporting the reader into the middle; the story and narration are even better than the first part. If you love action thrillers, then this is a must read as the author weaves a taut and impressive thriller.

Sniper’s Debt by Manik Dhar

Book: Sniper’s Debt
Author: Manik Dhar
Type: Action & Adventure
Format: E Book (Kindle)
Rating-4/5

Sniper’s Debt is the 2nd book in the set of 7 action books. Though it is the second book in the series, it does not lack independence from first book and one may read it easily without facing much trou-ble. The story is about a military’s man special adventure post retirement. The protagonist flight was hijacked and he was forced to take steps forward for coming out this trouble. The demands of hijackers were high and dangerous as they did not demand simply money or gold. Now, how the protagonist will be able to overcome it, to know this, you may read the full book.

It would not be wise to talk about a particular takeaway from the book. However, at the minimum, book has a lot to offer and it inter-alia includes struggle and bravery. The protagonist was not any young lad but he was a retired military man, yet the braveness and enthusiasm he has shown, is really commendable. That is why India is praised all over the world. Not only this, book also informs that when there is nothing finalized, everything is possible.

Through out the story, author kept the reader engaged in the book, partly because of narration style and partly because of suspense and thrill which the author has offered through the book. Story had ups and downs, turns and u-turns as well as scary moments. It had the capacity to entertain the readers.

If we talk about other things in this book then few of them are-
1. Language of the book is easy and comfortable.
2. Narration style was detailed and good.
3. Characterization was stunning in the book.
4. Pace of the story was fine and forwarded in seamless manner.
5. Struggle as well as emotions portrayed were felt real.
6. Plot was well developed and executed.
7. Cover of the book was engaging.
8. Book length is hefty. Could be kept short.

Well if we talk about negatives of the book, then I don’t find as such except the fact that few things could be kept as logical. Well it was a fiction book and hence no complaints. Overall story was a good and interesting reading and I recommend this book for all fiction lovers. A good read in-deed.

So this book was a sequel to "Sniper's Eye" but didn't match the thrill I experienced while reading the first book. The story is about an ex army officer Aadi, who starts a new life with Zoya and his baby Aman after all the chaos and mess he faced during the Mumbai terror attacks.

While going for a vacation with his wife and baby, Aadi faced the worst scenario of his life! His plane got hijacked by the ISIS. In order to afraid the Americans, the ISIS leader killed people and took other passengers as his hostages while Aadi was being held back by the leader. He was taken to a special place, but call it sheer luck of Aadi he was saved by a few villagers. Later he found out the villager who saved him was the sniper, the man who was eager to shoot him during the Mumbai terror attacks. There was something unusual about the ISIS. Aadi had a strong feeling that this was something more than the ISIS capture. He along with the sniper went on the battlefield to fight for his family. Are they really the ISIS? Why are they behind the ex major? Is there more to hijacking?

You definitely need to read the book to get all your answers.

" Sniper's Debt " is a perfect blend of thriller and mystery elements. The story is gripping and builds the right amount of tension in the beginning.  The characterization by the author is amazing. I loved Aadi's character - a brave soldier, a loyal friend and a loving husband. Even Zoya's character was shown to be bold and loving towards Aadi. The language is easy and understandable. The narrative is crisp and the story is well paced but I felt the plot getting a bit boring in between. This book is a part of 7 book series by the author, and " Sniper's Eye " is the first book in the series. And now I'm eagerly waiting for the next part of the series.

Outstading storyline!

'Sniper's Debt' is so far one of the most amazing thriller fictions I've ever read. The book is written by the author Mainak Dhar. The story starts when the protagonist, Aditya along with his wife Zoya and son Aman plans a vacation to Paris and their plane gets hijacked. The old retired US soldier tries to be a hero but he gets shot. Aditya sends messages to few people to let Indian forces know about the plane. What I feel shocking that even the hijackers wanted the news to be leaked. They land the plane in Afghanistan. Rather than keeping the people on plane, they separate and take people in slots. When Aditya was being taken by the hijackers to a different place, Aman enters into the story. Aman is all set to help Aditya from the hijackers. Now, I am leaving the next part for the people to read on their own.

Right from the beginning the book takes me to the world to intriguing imagination and with the slow progress, it encounters with several goosebumps. I am literally in awe of the storytelling whereas the narration has definitely taken the book to another level of excellence. The setting of the plot, different sequels, making of hijacking scenes etc have left a deep impact on my mind. What I love about the book is its easy and simple language which creates no bar in reading. Vocabulary was in my grip and I didn't need to reach out for dictionary.

Now comes the book cover part which is definitely fascinating and goes with the theme of the book. The title of the book is well-thought and adds good curiosity on the readers' minds. Overall, the book was an amazing read indeed. I should definitely recommend others to grab the copy and give it a read.

My rating to the book : 4.5/5

You know your vacation won’t end well when the guy behind you tries to be a hero and ends up dead.

Hijackers? On a flight to Paris?

Passengers are dying. I am next in line, and things are not adding up. The jihadis claim to be Daesh, speak English and whistle to the tune of Stand by Me. To survive and save my family I have no choice but to tap into my violent past.

Rescue comes in a single hushed pop. A Sniper! A man who feels he owes me.

Stranded in alien territory, with no weapons, I have no option but to join hands.

In a world where the most dangerous terrorists are not the men carrying guns but their hidden masters, my frenemy and I have to not just unmask their sinister plan but also show them that we are the predators and not the prey.

My take :
The blurb has provided complete justice to the storyline.
Aditya, Zoya and their little son has planned for vocation but instead of landing to Paris, they are landed in Afghanistan which is believed to be ruled by ISIS.
Aditya cannot fight like a soldier since he is not alone but he is with his family.
Any urgent move can put his family's life at risk.
He must act polite with people who don't deserve mercy.

The story since the beginning creates curiosity to know more.
The moment when the hyjacker announced the Hyjack, it gives goosebumps.
The story also feels quite informative once Aditya meets Aman.
The glimse of working of various Government's can also be understood.
The language is lucid.
Since it is the second part in the series, the suspense and reveal is very much balanced.
Even though if a reader hasn't read the first part, The author has provided clear picture about Aman which makes the readers to understand Sniper's debt.
I strongly recommend this book to everyone.

Book : Sniper's Debt
Author : Mainak Dhar.

Review :
Cover : As soon as I saw the cover I got a feeling of PUBG for which I took this book.
Title : The meaning of  sniper is a highly trained soldier who specializes in shooting targets with modified rifles from incredibly long distances. I founded the title apt after completing the book.

My take on the book :
I would like to combine the meaning and the cover of the book that As in the game of PUBG the player ( Here is dressed as Soldier) has rifles to shoot the opponent. When I started reading the Chapters I was at first getting a feel of PUBG, I haven't yet played the game but as the narration starts with a plane and the Cover.
The starts with Zoya, Aditya and their Son Aman . They are on a vacation to Paris and enjoying their trip suddenly got to know that they are hijacked and the plane lands to Afghanistan. Aditya is a military man and he is in such a situation where all the people are hijacked. As we all know that military men are always safeguarding their country and their people. Here Aditya is also in the dilemma so as to how is he going to rescue people and then he finds his Friend Aman who is a sniper.
Not talking much on the story I will leave some questions which will be answered when you read this book.

Who are the Hijackers?
Why did they Hijack this plane?
Is their anything that they want ?
Will Aditya be able to rescue all the people?

Language and Narration is lucid, plot is intriguing and will keep you hooked till the end.
Kudos Author!! Will like to read your first book as well.

This book is the second part of Series, I have completed the first part and enjoyed reading it. Even, this part was all good, I was not disappointed at all. It was all the worth. Plot was crafted out very well by the author. Like the first part, even this part surprised me with twists and turns. This book involves Jihadis, Media and Politics, International Relations, Security issues and lots more. Plot is unpredictable that one just needs to go with the flow, and it's engaging to follow with fast paced plot, proper narration and good characterisation. Really appreciate how the author had quoted minute details of everything from weapons to geographical features to emotions to fights. Thrill, suspense is maintained till the end. Aaditya's character in this part was even more developed than first. If the book gets adapted into a thriller movie, it would be a treat to people who love watching action, thriller movies. It ended with a cliff-hanger, I'm excited to see what the third part has stored, and what next happens!
Would suggest to people who love suspense thrillers!!

Ex para military major Aaditya gosh is travelling with his wife Zoya and children Aman. They all are travelling to Paris but who had known the travel will change the life of Aaditya and his family. Aaditya gosh is trained in paras. The plane is hijacked and no one knew who had been behind it.

Book is full of action from the start to the end. The whole plane is now taken to the Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. The hijackers have taken 3 passengers and now are demanding with the US to take out a deal. He was successful in escaping from them, and he met with an unknown friend whose life was saved by him. The friend is Aman karzai who is a sniper and Aaditya has named his child name by his. They both have now joined the forces and will take out hijackers and escape every passenger that are in capture of them.

US navy SEAL also helped them to save the passengers. But who was the third person whom the hijackers had capturedwith them and now demanding the things they want. Others characters involved in the book also plays a major part to rescue the peoples who are with the hijackers. They all are very intelligent because if they were from ISIS or Taliban they hadn't thought much how to capture the plane and many other things. Will Aaditya with his sniper friend Aman will be able to save them. The end is pretty well. But this is not the end you will find out more about Aaditya what will happen next in his life.

Cover is fabulous along with the story. I would like to recommend reading this wonderful book.

●Description :- You know your vacation won’t end well when the guy behind you tries to be a hero and ends up dead.

●My Review :- This story is about an Ex military major Aaditya gosh is travelling with his wife Zoya and children Aman. They all are travelling to Paris And their plan gets haijacked. The plane is now taken to the Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. The hijackers have taken 3 passengers.
And they demanding for deal. What is their demand? Who are they? What they wants? What Aaditya and Zoya did?
.
The cover and title both are apt and attractive.Really a great story with gripping plot, many other characters are introduced later in the plot. That give charm to the story . Language is simple easily understandable. The action adventures are described well. The end is also well depicted.Over all a good book. And I recommend this book to all.Go and must read.

As the novel begins and you go reading chapter after chapter, you will find, you will find a lot of similarities with the stories related to crime & terrorism /hijack type stories.
Which we have read somewhere on newspaper, magazines articles or have watched it on many Hollywood/ Bollywood movies dealing with terrorism and use its country's intelligence.

It is the on Aaditya Ghosh.
Aaditya Ghosh is the main character of the story.
He is an ex_para military officer.
He is on a plane to Paris with his wife and son when the story begins, going for a vacation.
But suddenly plane get hijacked by terrorists and their vacation turns into hijack story like that is happening in movies.
Well if you want to know about the story must grab a copy of the book.
Paperback/kindle copy.

After every chapter, you can try an guess what will happen next, and you can predict up to 20 _30 % with a little tweaking.
The best phase of the novel after 60% of it.
I like the climax scenes of the story. The author has almost done his great job.
Narration is best and superb.
The novel is faced paced, language is simple & easily understand to the beginners.
Plots are very well developed and described.

I wanted to give it 4 star
I recommend this book to all books lovers
Happy reading :) #stayhomestaysafe

Aditya, Zoya along with their son Aman is planning for Vacation to Paris.
They are set out to fly but unexpectedly the plane gets hyjacked.
The suspicious thing about this hyjack was the hyjackers themselves were provoking people to share the news.
Even the demand seems to be unfulfilled by US government.
What would be the fate of people at plane?
Does Aditya comes out as a Hero ?
Is his family turns out to be his strength or weakness?

I have read the first part and when the second part of the series was out, I couldn't stop myself from grabbing the copy.
Aditya's situation, his concern about his family is brought out in emotional manner.
The moment 'Aman' enters the story, the book becomes too gripping.
The life style and the cause for which Aman was living is worth to read.
Never have I ever thought any Author can pen down a story like this, as bringing a different side of a terrorist is too difficult.
The story feels to be about Aditya & his family but for me it is about Aman and his debt.

The language of the book is lucid.
The title is apt.
The cover page totally relates to the story.
I loved the way the character of Aman is brought out.
The ending part which narrated about Hanif and the messege received by Aman is very heart touching at the same time makes the reader curious to wait for the next part.
Readers must read the first part of this series "Sniper's eye" to know the clear background of Aman and at the same time one would be well known about the debt Aman owes to Aditya.
Strongly recommended to everyone

Book : Sniper's Debt.
Author:@dharmainak
Source: kindle
Page count: 169
.
🌏Here our protagonist is ex-paramilitary major Aaditya Ghosh travelling to Paris with his wife Zoya and his baby boy Aman .Soon their journey was started, they got to know about flight is hijacked. Eventually an old US soldier had got out of his seat and was about to lunge at the hijacker , then he was shot by a hijacker. This hijacked flight is landed on Nangarhar Province in Afghanistan , it's a remote area . How our ex-paramilitary major survive and save his family and other passengers, is the story.
.
🌏Some lines from the story.
》‘Sit down. Stay calm. This flight has been hijacked. Allah hu Akbar!’
》‘You have not died in vain, sir. I won’t let these bastards win.’
》I had never understood this fascination with the social media, now even more so in a life and death situation like this.
》sniper’s nest with a suppressor on his rifle. About 2,296 feet, give or take. The muzzle velocity of the Dragunov is 2,722 feet per second. Over that kind of range, the bullet slows down due to the impact of air resistance and gravity, but the Math was inescapable.
.
🌏
》This Sniper's Debt was 7even series of book2.
》This is fast paced thriller , hence reader can easily engaging in reading.
》Title and cover are apt for the story.
》From commencement to conclusion of the story, author penned well.
》Over all it's a good read and page turner.
》I can recommend this for thriller readers .

Sniper's Debt is the Second book in the 7even Series, but those who have not read the first book can pick this book as a standalone too...though I will recommend you to read Sniper's Eye too..

An amazing, action packed thriller which kept me invested from start to end... If "Sniper's Eye" was great this is much more...

Major Aaditya who has finished a deathly scheme in Mumbai, last year is now married and has a son.. they are on a flight to Paris for a short vacation but the plane gets hijacked...

Moving ahead in the story Aaditya comes face to face with someone who has been a enemy once and now a friend, Aaditya will need all the help of this stranger to get out of this situation with his family...

Aaditya is the Protagonist and a great character no doubt but Aman "the Sniper" is my favourite character in this series and when you are done reading this book you will also be compelled to appreciate another young boy "Hanif"..

The action in the book is something that will give the readers all the thrill that a great Hollywood movie with a Cat and goose chase will give to its viewers... The language used is pretty easy and it makes the story easily readable for even a new reader... At the same time the story is a page turner and can be finished in one go...

I enjoyed each and every moment spent reading this and will highly recommend this book to all the thriller fans...

And now I wait for the next in the series "Sniper's Quest"

Happy Reading...

Amazing!

You know your vacation won’t end well when the guy behind you tries to be a hero and ends up dead.

The cover is perfect and clearly depicts the omnious settings that surround the book. The title is what catches peoples eyes and is interesting. The language is lucid and the book is fast paced. The author has done a commendable job on keeping the reader hooked right from the start.

The main protagonist of the story is Aaditya, who is an ex paramilitary major. Aaditya travels to Paris with his wife, Zoya and his little son. And as the fates would have it, the flight in which they were travelling got hijacked. After the hijack, the plane was landed in Afganistan. In a foreign land with no knowledge about how to endure the conditions that have been forced upon them, Aaditya must look back into his past to keep his family safe.

As Aaditya works on this rescue operation, he receives help from a sniper named Aman.

Who is this Aman?
Why is he helping Aaditya?
Why was the plane hijacked?
What are their demands?
Who is being kept captive?
Will they succeed in this mission to not just save Aadityas family but also to stop whatever attack was heading their way?

To find the answers to all these questions, you must read the book.

The book is action packed. The reader won't be able to put the book down, once he starts.

I would gladly suggest the book to all who want some action during this time of inactivity!😉

Snipers Debt (7even Series Book 2)
Author : Mainak Dhar.
Genre: Thriller

Disclaimer: I have not read the first part of the book and have only little context regarding the book. Despite that the author has given the context when required in the book and is easy to understand.

Aditya Dhar is travelling to Paris along with his wife and Son . The plane is hijacked by terrorists , who CLAIM to be from ISIS (claim being the keyword) . Aditya , being from milatary background is targeted by terrorists along with two other members of the US Military. While the ones from the US are executed in front of a live broadcast to the world. Aditya is just being held captive. He is suspicious is the terrorists are really who they claim to be. The terrorists land the plane in a deserted location in Afghanistan and transport the hostages to another location., Aditya is seperated from his family as his is kept seperate and travels in a seperate vehicle. What happens next? Will he be able to reunite with his family?

The book is gripping in places but the pace slows down in places and it is not so gripping then. And that's the reason it took me a few sittings to finish it.

The supporting characters are also well developed . The language is easy to read and can be read by beginners.

Aaditya and Zoya with their kid Aman are on a flight to Paris, but midair the fight is hijacked by warriors of Daesh (ISIS) and diverted to Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan. The jihadis in the flight are very sophisticated, who landed the fight in a makeshift landing strip surrounded by hills. The jihadis holds a satellite conversation with the American's and demanded release of some dangerous terrorists for the release of the passengers. As it takes time to fulfill their demand the jihadis kill an American ex-Marine officer Wilson Smith. Major Aaditya Ghosh is next on the line to be killed.

In all this pandora and chaos Aaditya finds something fishy. The jihadis are fluent in English (with American accent), highly sophisticated and speaking (or faking) Arabic in a conversation with the Americans. Aaditya and other Military officials (ex-Military) finds this mysteries because ISIS are a group of crude and uneducated (mild-educated) jihadis.

Who are the hijackers? & What is their plan?

Who is their target?

Is there any foul play?

The first was a crimes thriller but this one is a mysteries suspense thriller, of you liked the first you'll love this one. I just loved the way the author describes the character, thought flow and mannerism of a soldier at each and every path of life; as they say once a soldier always a soldier - this is the main reason I stick to this series. All in all a brilliant, fascinating and error-free tale of a Soldier.

There are some books that we will always Treasure for life and Sniper's Debt is one such book to me❤. Tell me about that book you will Treasure for your life✨?

*
MY TAKE🧡:

Sniper's Debt is a beautifully composed fiction it was a delightful read to have had everything aligning towards the end. It is a complete package of thrill, action, suspense and a touch of emotions. I could literally live the scenes, it was like a Bollywood movie.
Sniper's Debt is the second book in the 7 series book. I have already read the first one and I really loved it. For the same reason my expectations from the second one were really high. The book was as phenomenal as I thought, it did the book met my expectations.

When Aditya was on his way to Paris with Zoya- his wife and his son the plane he was on got Hijacked and the hijackers took the flight to Afghanistan. The lives of all the passengers were in danger, two passengers were even locked in the cockpit. Being an ex-army major Aditya has to do something to save the lives on board. Was he successful in rescuing the passengers? You need to read the book in order to find the answer.

I am now a big admirer of Mainak's narration- complete latch on to. The cover fairly played with the story, it completely resonates it full stop the characters need complete sense they were not someone unacceptable full stop this book is more than just well written it something to be treasured.
