Title: ➳ ❤- The Negotiator
Series ➳ Professionals Series 7#

Christopher & Miller’s story

Miller wakes up on Fenway’s yacht & she knew Bellamy struck again.

Christopher Adamos, Greek god- who is tall, dark and broody. And maybe just a bit dangerous Okay, fine. More than a bit. anyhow, the most important thing was he is Greece's biggest organized crime leader, and It seems he have made a lot of enemies in his particular line of work! And that’s where Miller’s kidnapping came into play… Christopher, who would go to any lengths to save his younger brother (Alexander )
He is an Greek god

Miller, wow what can , I tell you that you don’t already know … She is the negotiator who works alongside some very interesting people who all have perfected their certain sets of skills… in my opinion I feel like she is one of the strongest women on the team! I only say that cuz the places & people she has to deal with …… And lord I love her humor

Miller wakes up in an unknown place with a hell of a hangover, but once she realizes she is on a Yacht, her first thoughts., are how she is going to kill both Bellamy & Fenway

So, we all know that Miller has thing for bad boys, miller is offer obscene amount of money to find the Greek God’s baby brother… so now miller finds herself in unconventional business arrangement that quickly turns into so much more

Note: it’s always nice hearing the main character’s backstory … Anyone who knows me, truly knows that I have an obsession with this author’s writing skills & her way of telling the story, but somehow this particular tale somehow felt flat for me… I honestly cannot tell you what it was missing but it was missing something for me……. But No worries this will not discourage me from moving on to the next book in this universe… I believe The Client is up next in the Navesink Bank Universe-Funny thing is it’s Fenway’s book

💖 Hope you enjoy this read 💖

⬇Always remember⬇

📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion+ Also I wouldn’t never discourage anyone from reading this book.Happy Reading --- Enjoy

I really liked this one but I wanted more of Christopher Adamos......

It's no secret that Miller is my my favourite (kidding, they are all my favourite but this one's about her) person on the team. And what did I say about Jessica Gadziala penning the most desirable men in like every book? It still stands.
I had been waiting for this book since I completed the last one(Months). And this didn't disappoint but didn't exceed the expectations either. This one was good but I have read better by this very author.

I had always wondered what kind of man would Miller end up with? She had some notorious ones under her belt, but who was it really going to be? And I'm not lying when I say that Christopher Adamos is exactly the kind of man I would expect for her.
I loved Miller, the life she had built for herself and I loved Christopher for the man he had made himself. Both of them had faced things in their life that they shouldn't have, especially Miller.
And wouldn't you know, I loved Christopher from the very first words that left his mouth. I have read terms of endearment in French, Spanish and Italian but holy shit, Greek is great! He was like, a Greek hottie extraordinaire. He was confident in his own skin, a man of power yet one who didn't choose to abuse it. I mean, some situations demand the abuse of power as long as it hurts none.
But there was one another thing- of course I liked Adamos but I still felt that some of his actions didn't really fit with his profession but I think it was majorly due to the lack of focus on his ways of operating within Greece. It was mentioned in passing, but I would have loved to read more about it.

And you know what? Fenway and Bellamy, those fuckers(excusez-moi), are really sharp for someone supposed to be so carefree.

My only problem with this book was that it was too short for my liking and the ending felt rushed. I wanted there to be more. More build-up, more navigation of their situations, their feelings and when I read the last chapter I was like "What?" I thought that it was going to end there, for the time. But fortunately, in the epilogue, it was concluded within two pages and then came the part of the Jessica Gadziala Epilogue that I'm sure we all love! And I kid you not, I gasped when I read that our Fucking Fenway found The Woman. I am hoping his would be the next one and I can't wait to read it. (I'm seriously considering an evil grin to mark this occasion)

I actually really liked this one. I was surprised as the heroine; Miller, wasn't really one of my favorites of the Professional's team. I did enjoy getting to know her better though, and I fell in love with her guy. He started off as her kidnapper and jailer, but ended up becoming her everything!!! I totally am all for that kind of romantic read!!! Not everyone likes it, but I don't mind it at all.

I am keeping this short as my phone (where I usually do all of my GR stuff) has stopped working a few days ago. I am currently waiting for a new one to be sent, so if I am MIA..and my reviews and updates aren't much...that would be why!!!
Take care everyone, and I will be around as much as I can! xoxo

Ok before I even get to my thoughts. Can we just take a minute to appreciate how fucking beautiful this cover is. The cover love I'm experiencing is off the charts. I loved it before I had even read a page but after reading Millers story I can't even begin to tell you just how fucking perfect it is.

I mean when the book starts with Fucking Bellamy and Fucking Fenway you just know shit is about to kick off. I mean the normal thing to do would be... not to laugh at miller and the situation she finds herself in through no fault of her own. I can't honestly say that I wasn't laughing though. Clearly I'm a monster.

I need to run off and find myself a Greek man who can whisper sweet nothings to me.

I don't feel much like running, kopelia mou," he told me, his voice a shiver over my suddenly very heated skin.

I mean at this point I didn't know who the fuck he was but I already wanted him.

The Negotiator bring us the highly anticipated story of Miller and just being honest I didn't have a clue what was in store for her. In fact I really didn't know all that much about her as a character in general to even begin to have an idea about her or where her story would go. Miller is a bad ass strong female, of that there is no doubt. Being drugged and kidnapped would surly disoriente a person enough the cause them fear but instead Miller was issuing threats. Despite being in a situation she was in no way prepared for she still managed to keep a hold of her emotions and react (for the most part) calm, cool and collected and that there showed her professionalism. It was fascinating to watch her work and in that moment I could see just how much of an assist she was to her team. However in reality not all is as it seems at face value with Miller. That women has some baggage that only proves to be not as in the past as she'd like it to be. Under all that hardass workaholic is a sweet caring and very sensitive women that honestly I was shocked at. Not that she was all those things but at just how much she blossomed into her softer side during her time in captivity.

Now our leading male was everything I never imagined Miller to be with. Although she did say she likes them on the darker side so I suppose she just got ALOT more than she bargained for. The Greek god whom gate crashed her life wasn't your typical rich business man. No sir. He owned Greece. I'm going to leave that there and let your imagination wonder what that means exactly. Mr Adamos was everything out of your wet dreams and then some. Lord have mercy on my soul because I didn't even care what he'd done, I already loved him. Lethal, he was fucking lethal to panties world wide. He had the quiet confidence that radiated from his being. He didn't need to be loud or threatening to get his message across clear. Though that's not to say he didn't get violent either because spoiler alert.. he did.

From the first page Millers book took off the ground running. The unique part of this book is that lack of appearances from the professionals. Millers story kind of breathed a life of its own in a different world on a different path to that of her colleagues and I wasn't mad about that. Despite the circumstances Miller truly blossoms into her own in this book and I really loved seeing all the different sides to her character because she had so much to give. Miller and Mr Adamos had a undeniable chemistry from the minute they met that only grew as their story unfolds. Their was no doubting the connection between them but there was trust issues and many other obstacles in the way of them riding off into the sunset. Jessica has this magical ability of making even the most ludicrous situation seem highly appealing and also pretty normal sounding. Regardless of their situation I honestly felt like those two characters were made for eachother. She brought a softer side out of him whilst he made her relax enough to feel safe and thefore be more vulnerable. It was sweet even though it wasn't conventional.

The story is seamlessly and the plot pretty much unfolds from the beginning but I found their story to be very character driven. Whilst there is a little action and a fair bit of suspense more importantly for me we get to delve deep into the depths of these characters and peel back all the layers to learn who they really are as people aside from from being a shady business man and a negotiator. Jessica always packs her stories with a punch and this here is absolutely no different. I didn't miss the older characters of this series because their is so much in this book that that keeps you busy. A slow burn romance that teases you with what's to come. Action, suspense and a few surprises that will have you shook. Side characters that add so much heart, sweet and humor. A story that hooks in you and never lets go. There is never a dull moment.

I can easily say Millers book is my favourite of this series. I loved the characters and their journey and I wasn't ready for it all to end. Of course our professionals make an appearance at the end with the exception of Bellamy and Fenway the resident wife snatcher and all round naughty boy popping in at the start for a casual drug and kidnapping plan. See, never a dull moment.

Now I want Fenway and Bellamy's stories. Like now!!!.

Miller and Mr. Adamos are perfect for each other!

Miller wakes up in an unknown place with a hell of a hangover, and an unknown rocking feeling that is only contributingto the nausea and cottonmouth she is experiencing. It doesn't take much to figure out that Bellamy and Fenway had something up their sleeves, and they're not going to help her at all.

Christopher needs help retrieving a precious item from a world renowned heroin dealer, and the only person he has heard enough about to know they can win is Miller. After Christopher gets his material back, he figures he'll just send Miller back to Navesink Bank. No harm, no foul right? It's not like he's refusing to pay her for services rendered.

Before he can send Miller packing though, someone on Christopher's team is going to try to make sure she never sets foot in New Jersey again.

Can Miller really love anyone after what she's been through in her short life, or is this just some weird form of Stockholm syndrome? Can Christopher get Miller back before an angry heroine dealer kills them both, or will they be done before they can ever really start something?

Not only did Jessica Gadziala write another phenomenal 5⭐ book in her Professionals series, but this time she gave us a trip halfway across the world in an area so starkly beautiful one might be ok with never seeing Navesink Bank again! Probably one of my favourite things in Jessica's last few books is the fact that we got to step outside our comfort zone in New Jersey, all the while keeping up with the people we've all fallen in love with in both the Professionals series and the much loved Henchmen MC series.

As always the epilogues are EPIC, and leave us little clues as to who she might write about next. A phenomenal 5⭐ treat with romantic suspense, humor throughout, and sexy times so HOT one might be able to forget the danger stirring underneath it all! I can't WAIT to see where Ms. Gadziala might take us next!!

A little softer and less edgy, Miller may have found her heart’s future in a man who kidnaps her to coerce her into doing the most profitable job yet. THE NEGOTIATOR reads as smooth as glass, with waves of humor, passion and danger rolling in.

If Christopher isn’t a swoon-worthy bad boy, no one is. He's an Adonis, a man of great power and wealth, a man with a huge heart and a fist of steel. He is also a man who won’t take NO for an answer. Miller is more than the prickly silver-tongued negotiator and her soft side reminds me of flowing silk.

I’ve said it before, and here I go again, Jessica Gadziala gains more depth in her writing abilities with each book, no matter the series. She never fails to wrap everything up in an epilogue that proves everyone’s future can be as bright as you make it! Another blindingly brilliant tale!

I received a complimentary ARC edition from Jessica Gadziala! This is my honest and voluntary review.

2.5 rounded up to 3 stars

I love this author's writing style and this series in general is a pleasure to read however I expected more of this book and more of Miller as the only gal in the gang but in writing this I can't really pinpoint what I wanted to see for her.

The pairing between the Greek crime lord was good but Miller also had bigger things to worry about and her constant gibberish how amazing he was didn't help.

Just me and not the book peeps!

Everytime I get a new book from Jessica it's like I've been locked away and starved. Even though I should take my time and savor it, I devour it in hours.

The Negotiator finally gives us Miller's story. And other than the very beginning with a hilarious set up with Finn and Bellamy, and the end with Quin and the team, Miller is on her own. Of course that doesnt mean its a bad thing. She is in Greece, against her will, to help its biggest crime lord to get his younger brother back from a drug lord.

One would think they would not get a sweet love story between a Negotiator that has dealt with the world's deadliest people and a major player in the Greece organized crime world but that is what you get and it was so satisfying. Miller surprised me with her softer side to go along with the hard, edgier negotiator side we've really only known from the previous books.

Miller is here! She is the negotiator who works alongside some very interesting people who all have perfected their certain sets of skills. I have always found Miller to be such a strong individual. She has the best poker face and nerves of steel. Gah! I have such a women crush. Jessica really surprised me in a good way with the development of this story.

We meet Miller as she wakes up on a boat in the middle of nowhere and already I know what happened lol. I got one word for you Bellamy. Hahahaha!!!!!

Christopher Adamos. Even his name is sexy. The moment Christopher and Miller meet is electric. You just know that nothing will be the same in their lives ever again.

Once I picked up this book I seriously could not put it down. I am so impressed with the development and flow. The side characters as always are amazing. I want to cook beside Cora in her kitchen and then sit with Alexander and pick apart action movies.

If you haven't started this series then you must! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The most skillful negotiator in the crew, self-contained and so beautiful, when Miller rouses suffering from the after effects of yet another of Bellamy's roofies (yes, every now and then he drugs his colleagues to force them to take some time off), she's a more than a little annoyed to realize she's on a luxury yacht somewhere very hot and sunny. So, not New Jersey. Therefore, it's not too surprising that her first words to the man lounging on the top deck are "I suggest running, I am feeling homicidal." But it's not Bellamy - it's a dark, brooding Greek crime boss who needs her to negotiate the safe release of his teenage brother, who's been kidnapped in a territorial power play by a Bulgarian drug lord. And thus begins the story of Miller and Christopher Adamos.

I have never been disappointed by a Jessica Gadziala story, and while this one is a bit different, it's no less compelling, dealing in a natural but fascinating way with ethical conflicts, possible Stockholm Syndrome, PTSD and the most complex heart/brain issue: love. Fantastic read!

You know it's going to be a good read when one of the first lines has Bellamy included.... Miller wakes up a world away with a pounding headache and alot of hours missing from her life. She plans to find Bellamy and Fenway too ... give them a piece of her mind & then go home but what she didn't expect was to meet Christopher Adamos... Just Wow!

Seriously, their connection is unexpected yet undeniable as they embark on this unconventional business arrangement that quickly turns into so much more 😍. Jam packed full of kidnappings, cooking lessons, twists & turns and some 🔥🔥🔥 slowburn. SO GOOD! The Negotiator was a much needed vacation for my brain... & The Professionals is most definitely one of my absolute favorites from Jessica Gadziala ❤ I love these characters... all of them and their unwavering loyalty to one another and I cannot wait to see where JG takes us next!

This book was exactly what I needed and so much more.
At the beginning I couldn't stop laughing at all the antics that Bellamy and Fenway were working on and they are hilarious individually. Both of them at the same time are just frightening 🤣. The way Miller describes these two extremely out-of-control rich clowns with their pranks is to cry-ridiculous-funny. I can't wait for their books 😍
Miller's story or Negotiator's, how she is called in her professional world, is unbelievable romantic and emotional.
She was always the one that didn't understand the term love or romance. She was satisfied with her career and one night stands, wasn't she? With a "little help"🤦🏻‍♀️ from Bellamy and Fenway, she discovers that that's not all in life. Life could offer her so much more if she just opened a bit more. And she does. To someone that is a complete stranger, a criminal and still he understands and respects her more than anyone before.
Christopher is the head of a criminal organization.
He is The Godfather of Greece.
Whatever happens in his country has to be approved by him. So yeah, it's not what Miller would have chosen as a man for life. But what are they saying about love? Love doesn't discriminate 🤷🏻‍♀️🤭
This is a beautiful, swoony and emotional love story with action, humor and life changing feelings. A journey into the past to start a future.
I'd like to tell you more about this book, but I can't. I don't want to spoil it for you.
I love this book and recommend it to everyone who loves emotional and action packed romances with a perfect HEA ❤❤❤

2.5 ⭐⭐

See now, I don't if it because I'm losing traction on this series or if the message just didn't come across clear enough but I know I felt uncomfortable reading it all the same.

Miller. Smooth talking, badass, uber babe Miller. She didn't need protecting, she didn't need coddling. She just wasn't THAT girl. And yet that was exactly what she was turned into.

I couldn't get into it, I couldn't even get into Him because he just made it worse. I like my heroines strong and capable and this just about declawed her.

Not the best of the bunch hey

So much internal monologue, so much thinky thoughts, it was very telling the story instead of showing it. I've read much better by this author, and this one had quite a few editing mistakes too, which act like jarring speed bumps when I'm into a book. The premise was great, but the execution was a miss for me.

This book has everything you need to take a trip away from the world. JG created an amazing world with The Professional series this book just made it even better.
I have wanted to know more about Miller since she was introduced and her story did not disappoint. She is a badass negotiator that need someone that would allow her to be who she is supposed to be without trying to cage or change her. Christopher was just the right tall dark and dangerous man to do that.
Epilogue was amazing!!
Can not wait to see what is next in this series!

Jessica is a really good writer and I do love her style. Many of her books I’ve enjoyed and they keep my interest enough I can read them straight through. I found this one, along with quite a few overs (the general is the one that springs to mind right now), a little undercooked. It’s like they cut off before the end. Not the first time I’ve been stumped the next page read epilogue.

A good writer who could be great if she took a little more time maybe.

5 Greek Goddess Stars

The Negotiator is the seventh book in Jessica Gadziala’s Professionals Series. I think this is probably one of my favourite series from Jessica.

Miller wakes up on a yacht in the clear blue water not having any memory of how she got there. She knows one thing it must have something to do with Bellamy. Not being the first time this has happened to her. But it turns out there is a good reason for it this time.

Christopher is a  dark, handsome and brooding Greek God who has a job  for her. He wants to pay her to negotiate in getting his little brother back.

“And in that mirror, I couldn't help but see the two of us reflected. I also couldn't help but notice that we made a pretty good picture. Him a bit more than me because, let's face it, the man literally rolled out of bed and committed homicide while looking like a friggen Gucci model.”

This book was great, although it was a little slow at times it still had everything in it that marked all my boxes. It was great seeing Fenway and Bellamy again, I’m Looking forward to both of their stories!!

This was another excellent read and no matter the series, Jessica Gadziala never fails to wrap everything up in a perfect epilogue!

DISCLAIMER TO MY FELLOW GOODREADER
This review is my personal opinion and may contain: spoilers, quotes, rants and swearing.

Early 30 something year old Miller woke up with the daunting realization that she has been drugged, kidnapped and whisked around the world. She really wanted to be in her own space back in Navesink Bank. Her downtime between jobs was necessary. But that was apparently not happening. Late 30 something year old Christopher Adamos had a job that she could not say no to.

“And in that mirror, I couldn't help but see the two of us reflected. I also couldn't help but notice that we made a pretty good picture. Him a bit more than me because, let's face it, the man literally rolled out of bed and committed homicide while looking like a friggen Gucci model.”

Loved. Loved. Loved. It. Seriously, you guys! How do they just keep getting better and better? Not that I’m complaining... but goodness. Layered heroine. Alpha hero. Little danger. Little romance. Sprinkle some drama in there. Put a smile on my face. Cannot not wait for more. Two certain somethings to be exact.

Cliffhanger – no (book #7 in series)

I was wary going into this because after 6 books I had a pretty good idea of what Gadziala would do and I was mostly right.

First up, I think while it was heavily hinted at that Miller's type would also be her endgame, I had kind of hoped she would get the same option as all the other characters: an outsider who could give her the relaxation and downtime she deserved. And it's hard to judge whether it's because I find it cliche that this badass woman "needs" a man more badass than her or that I think Christopher crossed some lines early on he didn't need to or that she spends so much of the book not doing anything. It could be anyone's guess. It doesn't help that she is the only woman with a book in a 10-book-series which puts more pressure on the character.

Bellamy is probably a well-loved character but I find his "funny" antics of drugging people "for theirown good" in this series of generally laid-back characters and limited criminal activity on-page, extremely unfunny. I don't like which does not help this book since he is the reason it happened at all.

Now, I love Miller, and Christopher was pretty cool but the plot - got on my nerves, to say the least. I am actually a little mad that Miller barely got to show her skills. I was so ready for cryptic dialogue and high tension but it's basically just one moment. And then she does a 180 and decides to give traditional housewife chores a try. I was not convinced for a minute that Miller would suddenly be happy lounging around and learning to cook. We never saw hints of that in the previous books, her conversations with Kai or Lincoln don't give an impression that it is something she could want. And if that was where the author wanted to go - fine. But I can't say the writing helped show that change.
I found the actual ending a bit rushed and anticlimactic.

As per usual, any scenes where more of the crew were involved were the best.

When I say I was dee-eye-eee ing to read Miller's book I'm not being dramatic like the moment I heard of her character I was desperate to read her book and it was so good like it was so amazing like when I say I loved the characters (and hated others) I'm not joking like not giving any spoilers ok fine maybe one teensy tincy one so like just skip to the end.........HE WAS GREEK so like the nickname was in greek and oh my daysssssss.

Also like I don't know why when I started this book I thought she was going to end up with Fenway because that was what I was told but like when we met her love interest I was like chanting in my head "please end up with him please end up with him please end up with him" and I was on edge waiting for the next chapter so I could see who the other point of view was and when I saw it wasn't Fenway and I had been LIED to I was so relieved like no words.

As someone who has read and re-read every single one of Jessica Gadziala’s books multiple times, I know this book could have been much better. The plot was underdeveloped and lacked any real intrigue and the characterization was weak. It just seemed very mediocre to me compared to most of the other books in the series. It also didn’t help that Miller acted way different than the way she was described in previous books.

Overall, I thought the characters’ thoughts and emotions could have been explored a lot more in depth, which left the whole book feeling pretty flat and one-dimensional. I’m still really looking forward to her next release though.

The Negotiator Review

The Investigators are all professionals in a Fixer organization. If you have a problem, whatever the problem, they can fix it. Miller, female, is the negotiator. Coming off a case, or several, and lots of travel, all she wants to be is in her own bed, in her own house and veg, Instead she wakes up on a yacht with a hell of a hangover and no memory of how she got there. Well she has some idea, as this is not the first time Bellamy has drugged and kidnapped her to take a break away and the yacht belongs to the firm’s most consistent and very wealthy client, effing Fenway. What she does not expect to find is Christopher Adamos, the crime kingpin of Greece and one very sexy man that pushes all of Miller’s attraction buttons.

Christopher has a job and only wants Miller not Quinn and all the guys. After offering a very large fee, sharing that it’s a child whose safety she will be negotiating for and frankly making Miller a guest in a way she is not welcome to leave, Miller comes around to taking the job. What ensues is a slow burn love story built on the flames of raging attraction, combined with a bit of interesting suspense. We get to see Miller’s negotiating skills in action and we get her actual first name too. It makes for an interesting and compelling love story that is surprisingly sweet and romantic. By the time Quinn, the owner of the Fixer co and Miller’s boss, arrives to “rescue” Miller we are rooting for Miller and Christopher and not so happy Quinn showed up at all.

Not usually a fan of situations where a victim falls for their captor, this story drew me in. Miller was certainly not helpless and had many opportunities to leave. Plus Christopher did not take Miller to harm her he simply wants to get his brother home safely. The love story was romantic and surprisingly sweet. As always the secondary characters do not disappoint and the book had a lot of humor. From the cooking lessons to the poker where the stakes are information to learn about the other person, the story and the slow burn stoked the flames and kept me as a reader interested.

Whether this is your first Jessica Gadziala book or just the most recent of many, The Negotiator does not disappoint. I do love the Professionals series so I would recommend you read the other books in the series, but this book is highly enjoyable even if read as a stand alone. It’s a HEA with another amazing Jessica epilogue. Now I can’t wait for Bellamy and even Fenway to get their own books.

4+++ Stars.

I received an ARC of this book. This is my honest and objective review.

Miller's story. It's all fun and games until you are kidnapped for a job. It's a negotiation between Christopher the Greek crime lord and a competitor who wants more distribution areas that has kidnapped Christopher's brother. Miller is out of her element this time as she has no telephone, no teammates, and is at the mercy of Christopher. Things slowly start coming together as she's drawn to Christopher in a so very un -Miller-like way. Her backstory is explored, along with more information on the rest of the team along with Fenway & newcomer Holden. Great tense story that fleshes out the characters and the plot.

This was one of my favorites of Jessica Gadziala’s books!! There’s just something about the captive falling for her captor that gets me every time! Miller is the Negotiator. And when Christopher needs her help he’s not above taking her. And of course Bellamy and Fenway are up to no good! I just absolutely loved this book! I love all the Fixer books but this one went a little deeper for me. Maybe because of Alexander, Christopher’s little brother or Cora, the mother figure but I could read this one over and over again!
