The story was a very interesting read with a vibrant storyline. I really adored Bliss. Her strong personality was very appealing and made me want to hear more about her. The type of man she was usually attracted to really wasn't her actual type. She found him in a man who used to be in the streets game and made it out with his fortune, dignity and his life. I can't wait to see what happens next with this couple.

Black Rose
I thought the story had a good base but I don’t think it was fully executed. Bliss is this smart, bad ass but it was just talked about. Her job at JP Morgan, friends and family just talked about how you don’t mess with Bliss. A black woman with her credentials wasn’t something you just walk into, it had to be earned. Rome was handsome and rich. They executed a good plan in the end but something was missing from the story. D. Camille is still a good author and I will continue to read her books.

Bliss’ way
Wow! I cannot wait for book two! Oh my goodness! The love and partnership with Bliss and Rome was awesome! I love the way they spoke to each other! The master minds of how they thought and how they loved each instantly was hot! DCamille writes to draw you in all the way!

Is it me or does the author seem to be rushing thru her stories? I wanted more character and relationship development between Bliss and Romeo which happened in her earlier novels but seems to be waning in her recent novels. I do enjoy the powerful portrayal of our Black kings and queens which is why I want more character development. Hopefully, the next series of novels will give that back.

Wealth building!!!
I loved it. As always so much to comtrmplate. I loved the perspective of starting out on the wron side of the law. As we all know worldly laws are made my flawed men. Excellent read.

Bliss journey in the corporate world is deep and adding Rome to the mix made it unexpected. This book gets you thinking about how our society today and how they are profiting off a certain race. We need to open our eyes for real about politics and oppressors around us.

Hooked!
I can't wait to see Bliss, Rome and Lax in action ready to make the world great again, lol. Anyway this was a great story from beginning to end. I'm glad my Black Rose found her King that will help her with building the community with the the proper tools, etiquette and knowledge needed to produce a well rounded environment. I really enjoyed the sensual love connection between Bliss and Rome. This was an excellent read for me. ReneeG 👍

Mind blown
I order any and all books written by D. Camille. I don’t think about it because she is purely amazing. I’m used to seeing the same characters, visiting my favorite places, and falling in love.
AND THEN THERE WAS BLISS!
Mind blown!!! Bliss is not who I expected and Black Rose took me on a different ride. True to form there is black people living their excellence and black love. There is BLACK MAGIC. Her messaging is so clear- her voice a voice FOR and TO our people. Control industries. Support each other. Be a true goddess. My only complaint is I always want more. I waiting for the next BOOKS!

Wow, thought nothing could top The Diamonds, The Uncut, The Heirs, The Negus Effect, & The Black Land Series. This book right here just may prove me wrong - from the first page to last page the experiences of the two main character was felt and snatched you into their world. Thank you D. Camille for the start of another exciting new series that enlightens us of our past plus inspires & empowers black culture to plan for the future. Definitely looking forward indulging into the next read book of this series!!

Another great story line! Lovely quotations and mantras. I believe in redemption and second chances. It shows life and trying circumstances can be elements of great character building.

Black Rose
Bliss had an agenda she thought she could achieve without love but Rome proved her wrong. This book was a must read and you will not be able to put it done. I'm so looking forward to how Bliss achieves her goals as well as watching her relationship with Rome develops in the next installment of the Black Rose.

I'm Not Sure Yet
I'm not sure yet how I feel about this new series yet. It was well written, suspenseful, and action packed that kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next. It was somewhat different from what I'm used to with D. Camille books but still intrigued my interests.

Knowledge and a great story
D. Camille is a expert at dropping knowledge within the confines of an awesome story. I loved the depth of Bliss she was more than a Boss Babe and pretty face she was down for the advancement of her people and loyal to her man Rome. I can’t wait to see what they build together. This series has started off in a fantastic way!

Excellent read
Excellent read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Bliss and Romeo (Rome) are interesting characters. They come from different backgrounds, they found love and a common goal. I look forward to reading about their future endeavors. I also would like to read more about Nikki and Laz. I recommend this book.

Short and crazy! I really loved the chemistry between Bliss, a Private Wealth Manager and Rome, former drug dealer and now successful businessman. Both powerhouses in their own way.
However, the background info concerning J. P. Morgan was really eye-opening, since I worked for the company for 28 years prior to becoming a teacher. Morgan Stanley didn't cover any of THAT during orientation!!!

I am loving Bliss and Romeo I'm very excited for this story. I love how it started and of course I learned something new. Bliss is soul sister number #1 she does it for the culture. I would highly recommend this book as always with D Camille books.
