"I believe there is a reason God has given me the gift he has. I believe he will one day put me in a position to make a difference in the world"

Having read and loved the first of this duality in 2018, I have finally read a gifted copy and was not disappointed. Pocock has taken the love story alluded to in history between Robert Dudley and Elizabeth Tudor and run with it wrapped in the fantasy of the "gift" of "fillos". Where will the "gift" take Princess Elizabeth next? Without spoilers, we'll have to wait and see, hoping that a third book may sometime appear

THIS IS NOT HISTORY, but fantasy within supposed history, something author Theresa Pocock does very well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book as the Tudorphile I am, as well as Highly Recommend this to others. 5/5
