I didn't connect with the main characters. Especially the h. I just didn't really believe their connection was strong enough for the obstacles they needed to overcome as a couple; as arch enemies. But this was the series conclusion and I am satisfied and pleased with how it has ended.
Now I'm hoping for more Scanguard Vampires- the new generation. Happy reading!
Enya finally gets her book! And her leading man is......well I can't say cause that will definitely be a spoiler. I know that you will enjoy this book so don't hesitate, go get it now. You won't regret a moment of it!
Oh, mein Gott, was passiert hier.
Did I love this book, did I hate it? I’ve got to say that I went back and forth a little bit. This book nicely wraps up the Stealth Guardians series, though, which is very satisfying as a long time reader of this universe.
Enya is always the odd woman out - having been the single female stealth guardian in her hq for quite some time and is now also the only unmated one. Enter (ugh) Zoltan. First off, I still can’t get over that name and it immediately takes me out of the story for a second every time it is used. Okay, assuming that I felt that throughout, we’re also confronted with the fact that we are along for the redemption story of Zoltan. You know, the guys who tortured and raped folks in a few books previous. This one was hard to get over, too.
Zoltan has had headaches that it appears were tied to something more than just his weakness as a demon. As the ruler of the demons, he hides this well until he meets Enya face-to-face. These two have chemistry, even when they are both lying to one another. If you’ve read all the other books, the twist here is not even remotely a surprise, but was nice to watch play out. We also get the entire (and I mean *entire*) gang back together to close out the series. There is obviously redemption and obviously a HEA for all, but it was a little touch and go in between, making me doubt my assumptions. As a series ended, it definitely delivered on all accounts. Do I wish Enya’s made was someone other than the big bad? Yes.
Loved this series and sad to see it end. I'd love to see more of the crossover between this and Scansguard. My only wish is that the identity of the main male character (trying to avoid spoilers here) was kept a bit more secretive. I figured it out by book #3. But that's just me. Otherwise, Tina please keep writing - because I will definitely keep reading anything you write. Highly recommended.
Wow! This book was so intense. Enya is the only female Stealth Guardian in the Baltimore Compound and the only member not mated. Feeling left out and lonely she encounters a handsome stranger in the local bar named Eric. After a couple of trysts in bed and dinners she realizes he has been keeping a secret that will completely throw a wrench into their relationship or possibly get one or both of them killed. Fantastic! I loved it.
This book was better than I expected it to be. Like other books in the series, there are some continuity errors but unless you're reading them all together you may not notice them. Enya's attitude toward her "brethren" seemed sudden and uncharacteristic of what we'd learned about her throughout the series. I really liked Zoltan's character growth. The entire series has shown his side of the story so having him be a main character/love interest/hero was an interesting twist.
Loved this book and it’s a great one to finish the series with. Considering I knew nothing of this series before I started it, I have really enjoyed these books.
I fell in love with Scanguards and although I liked the stealth guardians, I wasn't sure they would have the same place in my heart. I absolutely love this series just as much as Scanguards. Tina, you rocked it again!!
Zoltan’s was a long waited story. When I first started the series and didn’t even think he would get a book. But then I read Winters book and I knew something was up and Zoltan wasn’t who he thought he was. It was a great ending to the series. I wish we would have had a little insight into all the couples before the end but maybe Tina still has something up her sleeve. I really hope this is not her last book. The book world and myself will truly miss her but I hope she gets well and comes back to us even stronger than before. We all Love you Greatly Tina you are truly the Oh Great one of the Paranormal book world!!! Hugs ❤️
Zoltan, the demon ruler plans to use Enya, a Stealth Guardian, to obtain information that would lead him to the Stealth Guardians headquarters where he could destroy them all. He didn’t plan to fall for her nor, did she plan to fall for him. Enya is a strong female lead and has featured in the other books. Now it is her turn. There are twists and turns in this story that make the ends justify the means. The friendships of the guardians and their allies are fun and supportive. I’ve enjoyed this series a lot!
Such a wonderful and exciting ending! I was worried ( for nothing ) that this book would just be a quickly thrown together book to end the series, boy was I wrong! I should have known better. Tina Folsom never gives less than her absolute best! And this was definitely one of her best!
What an awesome end to this series! It was sexy and fast paced, and I truly had NO idea how Enya and Zoltan were going to get out of some of those situations. The story was well written and captivating, intense and interesting. Great job!
It took me a long time to finish this , mainly because I knew it was the last book. 10/10. This has every emotion in it. I think people who follow Tina Folsom will thoroughly enjoy this book and this series.
Tina has done it again and with this book. It’s filled with everything, love, laughter, sex yet also fear and fighting. Ending with compassion for everyone involved.
Absolutely amazing. Tried to ready it slowly to savor it but I couldn’t. I needed to know what would happen next in this story. I love this entire series so much.
