"You're my assistant."

The magic words every girl at Trinity Academy are dying to hear.

But I'm the one who gets stuck with Mason Chargill, the star of most women's fantasies but my nightmare. One of the heirs to CRC Holdings, he might be dangerously gorgeous, but his cold and callous demeanor makes him an ice prince.

He expects me to abide by the Academy's hierarchy, to be at his constant beck and call.
Yeah, right... hell will freeze over before that ever happens.

Unfortunately for him, I'm no pushover.
Unfortunately for me, he's determined to break me.

If only there were a way to melt that shard of ice, he calls a heart.

'MASON' is the second full length New Adult novel in Michelle Heard's 'Trinity Academy' series. This is MASON CHARGILL & KINGSLEY HUNT'S story. Spoken in 'Dual POV's'

God what can I say that I've not already said about this author before?!? Other than the fact that she just gets better and better!! From book to book!!

This book sent me on such a rollercoaster of FEELS!! I cried, I swooned, I laughed, I loved!! I even wanted to punch a b#tch!!

After the previous book and that cliffy that left me hanging this book right here was on my most anticipated books of September!! Mason was the guy that intrigued me the most, I wanted/needed to know his story!! And god what a story it was!!

69865674-3489731367711102-2338241021269245952-o

'PAST’ Opening that first page into the ‘Prologue’ We jump into Mason’s past at the age of seventeen when his life changed forever, one minute the two siblings are listening to a song play on the radio, the next everything changes within a blink of an eye, and nothing will be the same again.
The 'Prologue' cloaked me in such sadness I never thought I'd claw my way out of it!! But slowly I was cloaked in love, I fell fast for his character and just like this book I didn't want those feels to end!!

‘PRESENT’ Oh my Mason, this guy is one messed up puppy, my heart went out to the guy, there’s no middle ground with him, when he’s nice, his friends think he’s lost his marbles, but us readers have a front row seat when it comes to getting his inner dialogue is priceless, many times a giggle escaped. He's the angry unapproachable scary guy on campus, the one you don't want to cross, he rarely smiles, and seems like he's got a chip on his shoulders. Mason Chargill. Badass. The CRC heir everyone fears. Delve deeper and this guy will steal your heart. his offensive behaviour is only a mask he hides his pain behind.

Kingsley drives him insane with her zeal for life, like an overexcited puppy, her happy go lucky attitude many a times left him wanting to gouge his eyes out which ended up aggravating him to no end, the girl with the feisty attitude and zero style skills..Like a tennis match we watched garbs thrown out as they each tried to outmatch the other with comebacks.

She's always smiling and if life is nothing but unicorn farts and butterflies shitting all over the fucking flowers. It irritates the living fuck out of me.

With this book I thought I'd have my sh#t together and write up a review as I went along, well that clever idea flew right out the window, because once I started this I didn't put it down!! There were so many quotes I loved, so many times I giggled out loud and so many times I sighed..

These two characters were utter perfection, I don't think this author could've chosen a better character other than Kingsley for Mason..

And as this book closed to an end we're thrown into yet another cliffy!! If I wasn't so snowed under with work and life I would've hunted down this author and thrown her in her woman's writing cave to hurry her along for that next instalment because I really really need to know how this arranged marriage all pans out!!

Firstly, I am so glad I didn't have to wait six months for this book in the series. I had just finished Falcon and I was beyond eager to start Mason. The ending of Falcon had me hanging but not for long... So I honestly went crazy a little bit...

After reading book one to this series, I knew book two was going be without a doubt just as amazing as the first... Well actually, I think I loved this book and Mason's story a little more than Falcon's.

In book one we got a glimpse at Mason and Kingsley and these two had a complex love/hate relationship... The moment they were introduced into book one, I was intrigued and I knew I needed to know more, and was excited to see what the author had up her sleeve for these two and as anticipated, it was beyond amazing.

Mason was such a strong character to me in book one, so in his own book... I fell for this boy hard and fast. His story is rough and after a devastating and tragic past... It's left the guy pretty cold, heartless and emotionless in away. His past impacted his life a lot, even though he is still young... It has torn his life and his family apart, which leaves him trusting and depending on his best friend and the support he gets from them... And what gets him through it all is the constant battles with his worst enemy.. It felt as though that got him through most days.

He knew the moment he met Kingsley that there was a connection between the two of them... But he was doing everything he could to avoid the growing connection and the intensifying feelings. When his life takes a turn and is put at risk, it's slammed him hard that he can't run away from these feelings he has for this girl...

Kingsley was sassy, she was witty and fun, but truth be told she was frightened of Mason, and how he treated her and how he treated pretty much everyone in his life... But even though that fear was there, she handled him well. She didn't let him treat her like a doormat, she stood up for herself, and once the light was shed on why he is the way he is... She got more understanding of why he's so closed off, why he treats people the way he does and why he does the things he does.

These two were everything that screamed opposite of each other...Yet, when together with the chemistry, the push, and pull, the insane intense connection between these two was so evident. I knew from the moment these two were introduced into the storyline that they were meant to be...Something about them sucked me in and I was completely consumed by their love/hate relationship and of course, that love/hate turned into insane desire, lust, and passion that I devoured in less than a day!

And of course, and I shouldn't be surprised... THAT ENDING? GAH!!
The author knows how to keep me on my toes, with a million and one questions running through my head.

I cannot recommend this series enough! So far I am completely addicted to it and can't wait to see what the author has in store for us next.

5 Stars!

"The beauty of a fallen angle...with a soul as dark as night."

Mason, the dark angle, the fallen one with broken wings, broke my heart. Such a beautiful soul, even tainted the golden glimmer shines through. He's such an intriguing character, I had a great time reading his story. I was captivated from the first page to the last and read it in one sitting.

Kingsley is such a sunshine. A girl full of live with an inspiring soul. Not only is she a perfect best friend but also the girl that managed to capture the fallen angles heart.

I loved reading their banter. All their interactions were flawless and made me smile even though sometimes I wanted to cry.

"...his bark might sound vicious, but his bite is the most erotic thing I've ever felt."

Mason's and Kingsley's story is a thrilling joyride that plays with a lot of your emotions. You find yourself addicted to their world, drawn in like the moth to the light. But here you won't get burned in the end, that's safed for those who definitely deserved to be burned.

I love the world Michelle Heard created with Trinity Academy, the intriguing world of the rich kids, a world of power and power games. With addicting and captivating characters.

"I can be your light while you're my heart."

Mason, the second book in the Trinity Academy series is definitely a book with attitude showing in a fascinating way what happens when sunshine melts the ice.

OMG I hate those endings in this series. That ending... What the heck happened? I need next book ASAP! Good thing, it's not long to wait.
This book... Who knew, Mason can be like this? I mean, sure you can guess, he still didn't let the tragedy, that happened 5 years ago and is tormenting himself over it, so he seems... Brutal. Scary. Unapproachable. But the Mason here... Yes, he still can be all those, but there's so much more to him. And I love everything, that Mason is. Can I order my own Mason? Kingsley is one lucky girl.
I loved Mason and Kingsley together. To watch them 'bickering'... It was entertaining interlude before they become something more. Something beautiful. Something everyone aspiring to have in theirs life.
I loved so much that unbreakable bond between the Falcon, Mason and Lake. Those moments were so fun, so sweet, so heartbreaking, so everything. I was living for them.
I'm not sure, who I hate more. Serena or West. You know, theres being a d¡ck and there's being a D.I.C.K. That scene... I wanted to... I just couldn't believe, what came out of his mouth. But then, for a second, I thought, maybe he does it on purpose? Punishing himself? Is it possible, he is haunted by guilt? It's silly of me to think that, after meeting West in Falcon and now here. Right?
Then Serena pulled that! OMG I wanted to b¡tch slap her. No. I got stabby. The b¡tch needs to go down.

WOW, just WOW! There is so much going on that I devoured this book in one go, I started it late at night and didn't put it down until the wee hours of the morning not caring what I have to do today. Kingsley and Mason have this crazy relationship where they goad one another and actually enjoy doing it, it's sort of like foreplay without either of them realizing that's what it is.

Mason has been through a lot and in this book we find out just how devastating his past has been. No he wasn't abused, but his sister had died in a car accident which we know because it was mentioned several times in the first book, but in this book we find out just how things played out and how it truly messed with him. MY HEART BROKE for him.

Falcon's book ended on a cliffhanger and this book picks up right where that one left off and we find out what happens when the snow comes tumbling down. I won't spoil anything but I will say that it sets Mason on a new path, one that was fun to watch even though at times I had tears rolling down my cheeks from the sadness but then there were times it was from the laughter, so I guess it balanced out.

This trilogy must be read in order: Falcon, Mason, and then Lake, each story is a continuation of the one prior but no worries because you will not be waiting long for them to be released, books one and two are out now and book three will be out next week. Yes, Michelle Heard has done readers justice with releasing all three books in three weeks so when you finish one you can grab the next. I would highly recommend this series to anyone that enjoys NEW ADULT ROMANCE that will steam up your kindle, this books will have you falling in love with each of the men and the woman that steal their hearts.

Happy Reading!!!

Mason is the 2nd book in the Trinity Academy series and an excellent continuation to the series. I will admit this book was more emotional that the previous novel and I did get a bit teary eye at certain scenes. However I enjoyed it as the story was also hilarious and sweet and I continue to love the dynamics between this group of friends.
This was Mason and Kingsley's story and after meeting them in the previous novel I was excited to see where the author was going to take them, as inspite of the love/hate relationship they had going on, there was a connection between them. Mason was an intense character, cold, emotionless and rough while Kingsley was sassy and fun and always laughing. Yet together they ended up being perfect for each other.
The story was fast-paced and I was hooked from beginning to end as there was romance, drama, friendship, healing and the inclusion of some additional characters who all greatly added to this amazing story. This story ends in a cliff hanger and I can't wait for the next book in this series.
With amusing banter, an intriguing storyline and fascinating characters, Mason was another phenomenal page-turner and I would highly recommend this novel to all lovers of NA romance.

Got more then I expected from this book.

Mason is the 2nd book in the Trinity Academy Series.

You get some much from the book, laughter to a point where you have tears running down your face, heart breaking moment's where you heart breaks and heals all at once and the meaning of deep love, where you would do anything for the ones you love.

And again that damn CLIFFHANGER!!!!
cant wait for Lake's book.

This is Mason’s story and oh is it a good one! Mason and Kingsley had me laugh out loud many times. The hate to love romance has me swooning hard at Mason. Plus Kingsley is one strong woman that makes ya wanna be her friend. Definitely a great series so far! Amazing book that I absolutely can’t wait for Lakes story next! 5/5 stars

Why couldn't it be a bit longer??
Why it had to be an insta love instead of a slow and satisfying burn??
Why??why??
I miss the characters already!!
Mason, I thought you were a jerk who only cared about himself (okay...Falcon and Lake too) and who loved to make people feel uncomfortable. But you had to be so caring. Now I want someone like you in my life😭😭
By the time the whole book was done I was halfway in love with him. I loved his character so so much. His angst, attitude, protectiveness, strength made me his fan.

When I read Falcon I didn't like that kind of insta love but after reading the second part of the story I just fell in love with the quick twists (though I still wish it was a bit longer).

The writing was also amazing. It literally was a no-nonsense story with very quick yet interesting plot.
The last hilarious part of fathers and sons was AMAZING!!! I am an emotional person who's a complete sucker for family love. So that part just made my day😍💝

I knew Mason's story will be great but I didn't expect to like it that much.

Mason Chargill. Badass. The CRC heir everyone fears.

Well I did not expect to connect with the icy, lost asshole of a character Mason but Michelle Heard made me wanna scoop him up and keep him from hurting in this book.

Kingsley Hunt, is my kind of girl, she always has a sassy come back and she challenges Mason, never backing down even when he throws all of his hurt and anger her way.

His attitude and the way he reacts to Kingsley is his way of dealing and coping with his sisters death.

One breath. Two beats of my heart.

Mason is Struggling massively with his sisters death, he blames himself, thinks it’s his fault.
Falcon and Lake are his support and I just love the bond that the guys have and how they give each other shit but they are also so loyal. The way they are there for Mason unconditionally is so touching, I love all three of the guys so much more in this book.

Also Lake is hilarious and I’m dying for his book!!!

“Your crazy plays well with my crazy.”

Mason totally underestimates the force Kingsley is in his life and how she is healing him, he hates that someone is getting so close to him and thawing his icy black heart.

If you love Enemies to lovers, where the characters can’t stand each other, lots of back and forth banter, sexual tension for days and hot angry sex then this book is for you!

I don't think this series is for me. 😭 But I'm still going to read Lake's book, and that will be the last. I'm not going to read Julian's book because of the dead lover trope. 🫣

There's just something missing in these couples, and for the life of me, I couldn't pinpoint it. Like my issue in the first book, the transition from not caring about each other to becoming lovers felt like it came out of nowhere. And the chemistry is still lacking between Mason (22) and Kingsley (18). His asshole phase was kind of hard to get past. I think he really needs to seek some professional help in dealing with his trauma. Being angry all the time isn't healthy for him. 😟 Gladly for him, Kingsley is understanding and not one to hold any grudges despite his jerkish attitude towards her.

Ms. Heard is beginning to grab my attention, and I like it!! In my little world, she is soon becoming the queen of one-page cliffhangers. Cliffie’s that I never saw coming and, literally, took my breath away. Wow, Michelle, really??

Trinity Academy is an interconnected series, with each book focused on a different couple. This one is about Mason Chargrill and Kingsley Hunt. In the last book, we read about Falcon Reyes and Layla Shepard and they are also featured throughout the book. YES, we get more of Falcon and Layla. We also get to know Lake a little more, as well as Preston, the universal PA.

I, literally, could not put this down. I was so sucked into every word, dialogue, scene, and situation. ENTHRALLED!! Mason starts out where Falcon ends and from the get-go, there is nothing but, full steam ahead. Remember, these guys are like the Three Musketeers, ‘All for one and one for all, united we stand divided we fall.’ Falcon, Mason, and Lake take this saying true to heart. No matter what is going on in their world’s, they have each other’s back to form a united front. This is completely evident during some of the trying times throughout the book.

Mason…❤❤❤! In Falcon, I was thoroughly about him, yet there was just something about Mason that had me so intrigued with him and his story. So, need less to say, when I got the book, I absolutely fell in love and absolutely adored him. He is such a broody MF, with no cares left to give, drowning in an overabundance of negative emotions. Despite all this, I couldn’t help but fall for this a@@hole.

Kingsley is Layla’s roommate and by default, in the boy’s group, where others know not to mess with her. Over the course of many tragic and eye-opening events, Mason and Kingsley both need to re-assess their ‘Fuck Frenemies’ relationship.

Despite some, ‘Aww, hell’ and ‘No way’ moments. I was utterly in love, sucked in, and swept along with the story. Despite heavy and shocking moments, there were many laugh out loud/snort moments. I ended this book with a few runaway tears. Now, were they from the emotional overload or sadness, I don’t know. I do know, I anxiously await Lake’s book now. If for any reason, that cliffhanger, Michelle!!

Mason is second book in the Trinity Series. It was unputdownable , emotional roller coaster ride. I devoured this story in one sitting. I was impatiently waiting for Mason’s story since I met him in Falcon , I was desperate to know more about him and it was worth the wait . I wasn’t disappointed.

“I can be your light while you’re my heart .”

Both Mason and Kingsley were total opposite yet a perfect match for each other . I loved Mason’s anger and Kingsley’s sassiness and enjoyed their banter and beyond perfect chemistry. The story had all the feelings and emotions with a perfect dose of banter, emotions and light moments .
The story pulls at each every single heart string and takes you on a ride that leaves you recovering long after the story ends . I am still on edge with the way the story ended on the cliffhanger , I am honestly ready to dig in to Lake’s story like right now but as they say ‘Good things come to those who wait’ I am sure Michelle has saved the best for the last .

Another stellar novel and don’t miss this Irresistible romance. Definitely going in one of my faves of 2019’s

This story was far more better than the previous one.
Mason’s story was spirited and intriguing, holding my interest as the plot was unfolding.
The bond of the three boys’ friendship was amazing and in this book was much more developed.
Mason and Kingsley, balancing perfectly each other, had a really explosive relationship!
The storyline was fast paced, dual pov and the ending had ... what else? Another cliffhanger, preceding Lake’s story 🤬

Mason is the second book in the Trinity Academy series and must be read after Falcon as all books are interconnected.

This story took me for a ride and I loved every minute of it. So much goes on in this story and with so many feels.

Mason and Kingsley are literally EVERYTHING and more. I just loved these two with their crazy banter, sweet moments and so much hotness they burned my kindle up.

With many moments with our crew Falcon, Layla, Lake and Preston but also with the boys fathers and Falcons brother Julian it was an amazing and beautifully written story that had my heart breaking one minute and laughing out loud the next.

So good and with that cliffhanger I cannot wait until I get my hands on Lakes book to see what havoc our crew gets up to next.

Oh my Mace... I just devoured this book in a day! Couldn't let it down. ❤️

I'm really surprised by this trilogy! I got so attached to these 3 friends that it will be hard to let them go for a while after finish.

I knew Mason's story would be deeper and sadder, but I didn't expect to feel so much about him.
My baby suffered so much... And nothing like an incredibly high-spirited woman to shed some light on this man's life.
My heart stopped at the pool scene!

Kingsley is as amazing as Layla, and their friendship is as strong as the bond between the boys.

Their romance just keep myself smiling after every page.

Can't wait to see the outcome of Serena and Claire! That bitches!

I'm just starting with my angel Lake!
Hope that Lee could see how precious he is.

My Review:

What a blast of a romance this one turned out to be. I took way too long to write this review (I do have health reasons happening that delayed it) but I honestly couldn't seem to get enough of this one here. And after how the previous book left off, I just knew that I had to quickly pick this one up. I am so grateful that I did as well, because Mason's book was a blast to read. I didn't quite enjoy it as much as the first book, however, it was endearing and there is a side to Mason that we get to see within this one that I really enjoyed. And also the mysterious element was so fascinating but my heart just melted to the family originally affected by it all. Michelle Heard does a very interesting twist within the story for the romance and the dynamics that bring them together was quite different from my expectations on it. But Michelle Heard knew how to win me over and she definitely did within this one here. But of course, it ended with another serial cliffhanger, so lets jump into book 3 soon shall we? LOL

MASON (Trinity Academy 2)
Michelle Heard

Releases 9th Sept

#Mason #TrinityAcademy #arc #arcreader #enemiestolovers #collegeromance #billionaire #richkids #newadult #frenemies #cliffhanger

Mason and Kingsley

POV:DUAL

His light.

Continuating from where events left off from FALCON. Must read in order books are  interconnected.

Kingsley is Mason's assistant.
It's just her and her Father.
She's new to the money world. She's got a happy go lucky attitude.
They've known of each other for years.
She's scared of him, given that he's gorgeous, won't take orders from him. But gives as much sass as she can. She's got a comeback for whatever he throws at her.

Mason is the future president of CRC Holdings. With the other heirs, his brothers by choice, Lake and Falcon. He's feared. Cold. Gorgeous. Protects what's his. They have each other's backs.
He was in a car accident with his sister years previously which took her life.
But he seems to be drawn towards Kingsley's sassiness.

They have this hate, back and forth, frenemies relationship going on.

But since Falcon and Layla are together. Layla being Kingsley's best friend. And the incident at the end of FALCON, the memories of his sister's accident creep up and his output anger is aimed at poor Kingsley. But when he finds out that she's scared of him he's trying to be nicer to her.
Kingsley is finding this weird.

The two of them get to know each other.
Kingsley wants to fix him, make his cold heart melt.
Mason's confused by feelings he's having for Kingsley.

Add in drama, tears, laughter, Serena (bitch).
The heirs Father's (current holders of CRC Holdings) are a great laugh, when out with their boys. You can see the similarities. It's great!
Lake is still the comedy release. Him and Kingsley could be related, they're so alike.

That ending! Cliffhanger!

Events continuing through to Lake's book. Can't wait! Which is up next, 16th Sept. Again, not long to wait.

MASON

When I was reading 'Falcon', I think that this book is great.
But then I started 'Mason' and now I think that I love this book more than the first story.
So, my words about Mason as my next bookish boyfriend in 'Falcon' review were true.

We can met Mason and Kingsley in first book in the series. This book is about their love story.
I wrote love? Hate to love story with more hate.
Kingsley Hunt is a Mason assistant in school. He is doing everything to make her angry, but this girl knows about it and she shows her claws.
'Mason' starts when 'Falcon' ends so you must read Falcon's and Layla story first.

Mason is a dark angel with broken wings. I loved him in first book, but now I love him MORE! He has a beautiful soul with big scars on it and under the guise of bad boy he is really vunerable and a little bit lonely.
Kingsley is a sunshine. Like Layla is a rainbow to Falcon, than Kingsley is sunshine for Mason. She has claws and she doesn't hesitate to use them, but she always first think and then do everything in her life.
When she learns the truth about Mason's sister Jennifer, she want to be with him. To be his support and his shield from all evil things in their world. I really like her and I am NOT jealous that she has Mason for herself (don't trust me, guys).

And again THAT ENDING! GAH! Michelle, WHY!
I can't wait until ARC of 'Lake' will be on my Kindle.
This is not fair. 'Mason' ending is so heartbreaking!
Guys, you are prepared for this. Don't cry when you will end 'Mason'.

Trinity Series is one of my favourite series now! I will back to these stories, because they are fantastic and truly awesome. If you looking for a new adult with hate-to-love this book is for you!
But remember! Read 'Falcon' first.
I recommend this book!

Holy hell Mason. Boy I thought Falcon had me but Mason. Oh Mason he captured my heart. I loved that his softer side showed through with Kingsley and they still bantered which had me cracking up or smiling so big at times.
The protectiveness of Mason was hot and the passion between them had me fanning myself.
I loved Kingsley she was just so likeable and fun she helped Mason heal and I loved that.
I can't wait for Lake's book I am so ready that ending though I am dying to know what has happened.

5 OH MY GOODNESS STARS!! OMG....I loved Mason's story as much as Falcon's.....I wasn't sure that was possible. This series is killing me with these endings. I know my is heart is working beautifully...I am still alive after the first two endings. Mason and Kingsley have all the feels and has you pulling for them. I love Michelle Heard's storytelling, she keeps me flipping the pages and telling myself to breathe. You definitely need to 1-Click this book, but you do need to start with Falcon's book first.

Mason was SO GOOD! I was glued to my kindle from start to finish. With a huge smile on my face.

Can Kingsley tame the beast??
Lol you’ll have to read to find out. No spoilers here

The antics of these characters had me laughing so hard. Yet you also get lots emotional moments that pull at the heartstrings.

Can’t wait for Lake’s story, but will be sad to say goodbye to these amazing characters

I recommend reading Falcon first as this book follows straight on from Book 1.

😱

Seriously? I don't even know what to think k of that ending but I have to say these cliffhangers in these books are killing me. Now that I have that out of the way let me just say this book was amazing. To share Mason's growth throughout this story was awesome. Such a smooth transition from the Moody alpha he was to what he became. The storyline in this book was epic and I fell in love with these guys even more. Now, on to see how Lake's story goes!

Much better than the first book because I enjoyed the banter between the two main characters. I also enjoy a good enemies to lovers romance. But I wish it would’ve been done properly. It was just so rushed, lacked so much depth and had so much potential. An enjoyable series nonetheless.

Mason is book two in the Trinity Academy series by Michelle Heard.
Mason Chargill, Falcon Reyes and Lake Cutler have been best friends since childhood.
They are the heir apparents to CRC Holdings and the gods of Trinity Academy.Trinity Academy is an elite school for only the extremely wealthy. Mason and his friends have everyone’s utmost respect. They should – their grandfathers started Trinity Academy.
Mason Chargill is the next President of CRC Holdings and he knows his place in the world.
But at Trinity Academy he is one of the most sought after bachelors.
Mason is a no nonsense, tends to be a sarcastic ass, but yet gorgeous as all get out.
That’s why he is fawned over by every girl at Trinity Academy. His gruff and abrupt personality leaves many to think his heart is a block of ice, but deep down he truly is the kindest of souls, with a lot of baggage.

Mason has chosen his assistant, a one Kingsley Hunt. And for the first time ever he has met his match.
While Kingsley is somewhat scared of Mason and his constant antagonizing, she squares up and lets him know that she will not be at his beckon call or answer to his every whim. This completely intrigues Mason. He has never had a woman stand up to him the way Kingsley does. And the back and forth between them will leave you laughing out loud.
Mason has a ton of baggage, he lost his sister in an auto accident, he harbors guilt that he could of saved his sister but didn’t. Even though there is no reason for Mason to feel the way he does, it was an accident. He still harbors these feelings and
they keep him locked behind a mask that he portrays to the world.
While he enjoys giving Kingsley a hard time, he slowly begins to enjoy having her around and having someone put him in his place when need be.
But, it takes almost losing Kingsley to make him realize that he has feelings for her.

Mason Chargill is the complete ass that you want to love. You want to break through his tough exterior and get to the gooey center. And this book does just that. In book one he is cocky and arrogant but you know there is a reason behind the way he acts.
His friends are loyal and would die for Mason, so you know there is something good in there – somewhere. This book dives you right into what makes Mason tick and in the end you fall completely head over heels in love with him.
The trauma of his past and what makes him Mason is gut wrenching and at times heartbreaking to read.
Not even going to lie, I cried. I cried a lot at the pain Mason was feeling and what it took for him to face his trauma. He is such a complex character that you just can’t wait for him to open his heart and let Kingsley in.

Kingsley Hunt doesn’t come from old money. In fact, trying to find her place at Trinity hasn’t been easy. She knows she doesn’t fit into their world. But she is going to make the most of what she has. Kingsley has become best friends with Layla,
Falcon’s girlfriend, which puts her right in the firing line for Mason. But, Kingsley just doesn’t take Mason’s crap from the get go. She dishes everything he gives right back to him. She also makes you want to become her best friend and hang out and eat snacks all day.

I love that all of the main characters are completely loyal to each other. That no matter what they are there for each other. This series has been a whirlwind of emotions. You know those cocky rich guys that you want to hate. But once you crack their inner circle you start to realize that they have their own issues and problems. And they deal with them on a daily basis just like everyone else. I have completely fallen for the men of Trinity Academy!

I just want to add that Michelle Heard has now become the reigning queen of cliffhangers. Book ones cliffhanger was like UGH…. Ok… Can’t wait for book two. But this books cliffhanger left me shocked and bewildered and cursing Queen Heard. Because seriously – who does that to someone! I mean I should have expected it but absolutely did not see it coming – flying out of left field to smack me right in the face. Well played… Well played….
