This book is a very interesting continuation to the series. The story continues in the near future and involves a few of the same story lines as well as a few additional ones. The different stories come together towards the end. I was surprised by a few of the things that happen in this book.
I thought the book was well done. I recommend this book if you are into science fiction and like it in the near future.
My only issue was that at times the sentences don’t quite make sense to me until I flip a word or two around in the sentence. This caused a few stops for me until I reread the sentence to figure it out.

I received a copy of this book from the author.

This is the third book in the Jonathan Jarl series but the first I have read. That made this story a real baffle for me in the early pages. I suspect it would be best to read this series in sequence to understand the flow and characters. However, as I began to piece together the history of the action the book got better and better. There was some really intense action and some very imaginative plotting that made this a page turner by the end. I especially enjoyed the scenes aboard the American submarine. This is a good sci-fi story that promises lots of interesting adventures to come.
I won a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway for this honest review.

Interesting

This book was pretty good. The company Jonathan works for was ambushed and an artifact they where studying was stolen. He had to search for the cross in order to get it back. The book was a little slow in parts as parts of the story where woven together. The storyline was complex yet easy to follow.

I received this book through a giveaway. When I started this book, I didn’t know it was part of a series. It would’ve benefit me to read the books in order, as there were some gaps in character development that made tracing the groups followed difficult. I enjoyed the storyline, but would’ve found it much more enjoyable if I read them in order!

Great story, difficult to put down

Alien spheres spread throughout the galaxy, world transforming machines, alien underwater bases, alien creatures water breathing and air breathing built similar to underwater creatures.

Totally good reading

I had planned to stop reading a hour ago but just couldn't out the book down. I'm sure the follow up books are as good but that's for later.

This final book in this trilogy, is amazing. The 1st 2books had a good story, but this capped them all, the pace was fast,it was had to put down," juslittert one more page",but 1 page turned into many. The end was literally explosive! It makes way for possible future books, I hope so.
The author,Filip, is a talented writer, and as I said earlier, a modern day Jules Verne.
The whole book is so well written, one can identify with today's environmental problems, but I hope the end is different!
All in all, well-worn reading. I give it 10/10. Long may we read books from Filip. He has a very great gift!!!! Happy reading to all!!!

This is the third book in the series and as good as the first two, maybe even better. Excellent story with characters that are so realistic, Jonathan comes alive in the story. Fast-paced and definitely action-packed, this is a must-read!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the third book in a series and would probably been easier to understand had I read the first two. The first third is extremely slow to get off the ground, but the action does pick up, taking place mainly on three days in August of 2049. I read an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.

Easily the best in series so far. This book does not suffer from the translation issues that the first two did upon release. The slow pace of the alien invasion thread finally picks up in this story as does the action. Trident had no problems keeping my attention. I look forward to number 4.

Jonathan Jarl is back. This is the best book in the series in my humble opinion.
The adventure takes him around the world, i the air, under the water…. and the aliens…. shows themselves.

Interesting plot!

I think this story has potential, but could use a little more work. I would definitely be interested in reading the next book in the series.
