Billionaire Tate Rendell is a bigger player than any man on the court. Raised to be a politician, he's not afraid to fight dirty...and hard. He bucked tradition and made a name for himself in business and the world of sports. Whenever he sees something he wants, he doesn’t stop until he gets it. Until he sets his sights on me.
As a girl with no prospects from a small town, I worked hard to get to where I am, too. Basketball put me through college and has given me a career I love. Nothing stands in the way of my dream. Not even love.

Milaysia chronicles her career in basketball starting in her small hometown high school through college and into the professional league. As she enters into professional basketball she meets Tate Rendell, the team's owner. The slow burn starts there and quickly speeds up. The chemistry between these two characters is hot and the interactions throughout the book are entertaining. With each book the author showcases her talent for putting together engaging tales.
Milaysia Bell, what a pretty game for a strong, beautiful character - i liked her right away! She’s loved the sport of basketball since she was a little girl and gets picked in the draft for a pro team. WIll she make the cut? Is the owner of the team taking a personal interest in her? The story is told from Milaysia’s POV. Tate’s care, concern & protectiveness come through in his actions and dialogue. If you’re a fan of basketball and IR love stories or just love a good romance - this is great entertainment!

The PWC stories are great books to read and this was no different. This was fast and quick read. The chemistry between these two characters is hot and the interactions throughout the book are entertaining.

This book is a short quick read. Even though it's short it gave me everything like a full novel would have. So don't view this as a bad thing. Shay Violet writing is done really good. The story comes together at the end. I love it! I absolutely love Tate! He's sweet, gorgeous, funny, and smart. He was amazing. Malaysia is smart, a basketball player, beautiful, and a sweetheart. I love these two together! Amazing work again Shay Violet!
Malaysia is a professional basketball player , Tate Rendell is the teams owner . They have Chemistry and its very hot . Just like every romance this book had complications from Tatet's family. This was a very well written story of interracial romance. I highly recommend it

Initially, I was not interested in reading. But I took a chance and was happily rewarded. I'm not a sports fan but felt like the author had to have played basketball earlier in her life. The storyline is mature and well written. Greatly enjoyed reading especially when the heroine was like, this is what I should do but this is what I ended up doing.
Tate wanted Milaysia from the moment he saw her. The color of her skin nor the age difference bothered Tate. He wanted her no matter what. They tried to keep their relationship a secret, seeing that he was her boss. Again Tate had different plans. True love prevails
I loved the small town girl getting to grow beyond her upbringing. Being able to play a sport and gain an education through that sport is awesome. Getting the opportunity to play professionally is a dream and not having to give up that dream for love is great. Not gonna spoil the end, but a HEA is in store.
This Palmetto Women’s College alumni is all about love and basketball. Malaysia finding her HEA as she is plays the sport she loves. Good characters and history of the sport.

Good. I think it is well written, though it could have been a little longer and with added details. I enjoyed and would let my reading friends know of this book. Thank you Shay.
This was a very sweet love story. It was nice to see Tate not fall victim to the norms of society, as well as what his family thought of him. The heart wants what it wants.
I loved Tate because in reality, what owner of a team would pull out all the stops like that to prove his interest in a rookie player without negative ulterior motives.
