Beth's Courage: A Sweet Amish Love Journey

Rate this book
Beth is a fifty five year old widow and lives with her eighty year old mother in the Amish Community where she lived her entire life. She was hardworking and continues to spend time quilting, cooking, gardening and participating in Wilkes County following the traditions. Beth's deceased husband was her friend and companion, though their marriage was not about love and romance. After losing Jacob she adjusted to life, but wondered often what it was to fall in love She thought her musings were silly and ridiculous for a grandmother plus impractical. Beth loved her children and grandchildren as well as her Amish town and practices. Why was she thinking of love at this point in her life? As a storm approached, Beth was surprised when her elderly mother mentioned it was not too late for her daughter to have a chance with a man. Who could like her when she was never looked at as a young woman ? Does Beth find her own Amish love story? This is a sweet, wholesome novella appropriate for all ages and the fourth in the Wilkes County Amish Romance Series. The first book is Martha's Story and each can be read as a stand alone book.

Good

It gets kind of stagnant. Otherwise a good read. A good follow-up to the other 3 books in this series.
