My life was all about revenge—until I met her. I want them destroyed. The Anarchists killed my father, haunt me and my brother, and seek to destroy my club, the Savage Kings. For years, I have stopped at nothing to annihilate them. But for years, I also never forgot her. She was everything to me. She brought joy to my life. And I had to leave her without explanation. But a chance encounter has brought her back to me. And now, everything has changed. My life is now all about having her—and nothing can stop me.
So this book was actually for free on Amazon, and the title along with the cover is what enticed me to grab it. I love anything to do with the MC. You know the guys who are meant to be wrong but have a heart of gold—the ones who will break the law, but at the same time for a good reason. I dove right in, but sadly I did not read the description where it says it is only 40 pages long. I got to the end and literally sat there going, what the hell? Are you serious? Now I may get the rest in the series, which has to be a maybe because I have so many other books to read first. I want to know what is going to happen between Heather and Brock. Though I do have to ask, why is it teachers are who go after the MCs? This is the second book I have read: a teacher who uses to date a person, and now they are a biker, and they get together? Heather and Brock use to date, but something caused them to break up. He is sorta not the same person he was before; he is the king of the Savages. Yet, you gotta ask will he put his club in front of Heather to protect her? You can see that the romance between these two characters is hot, and I think I may see some dark secrets coming out. Though I could be wrong on that. With this first book, we are just introduced to the characters, get a small bit of their background, and then end it on a cliffhanger. So there is not much to write in this review without giving a lot away.
Brock is president of the Savage Kings MC and is kind of set in his ways. Heather is a school teacher now after being away from town for years working in a stressful finance job, She's getting coffee before work when she runs into Brock and is stunned to see him after so many years. Brock is just as shocked to see Heather and tries to get away from her as quick as he can. When Heather mentions him to a co-worker they warn her that he is bad news and to stay away from him. After school Heather go out to a local bar for a drink and Brock is already there. Sparks fly between them and its not long before he moves to sit beside her. They start talking and playing pool however Brock leaves with Heather. Will Brock ever get to claim his woman? Can Heather trust him? Is he doing something illegal?
This is a great story that will draw you in and have you on the edge on your seat. It ends on a cliff hanger because its part of a series. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Ok. Book 1. Brock is the president of the MC. Heather is his returning high school sweetheart who’s been away for 10 years. She has no clue why Brock disappeared in the first place when they were 18. Fast forward 10 years later she returns as a teacher in the community school. He is running the show for the MC. He has a rival MC that has stolen weaponry from a local hideout place that they have. Their plan was to retaliate and hopefully make a statement. Brock is not focused because In the mist chos he wants Heather. Unfortunately this is a cliffhanger story. I personally hate cliffhangers because waiting for the next edition(s) is nerve wrecking to my sanity and make sure I read them in the correct order.

Wow what a start to a series. I couldn't put it down. This is a series you can't miss. In this first book you are introduced to Brock the president of the Savage Kings and Heather the school teacher who is the woman from his past. The story ends on a cliffhanger and it will leave you wanting more. This is a quick, sizzling read. You will not put it down. I can't wait for the next book. A must read. This is my first time reading this author and well done! You will not be disappointed. I recommend this book.
This is part one of four in this series (there are 20 books total). There are 4 books per Character. This one is about Brock, the Savage Kings President and Heather, His high school sweetheart. The story line is interesting. I only gave it 4 stars because to me, this should have been just one book instead of split up between other books. The grit is there for your typical MC romance. The female is ballsy. My only complaint is that its broken into parts.
Brock and Heather dated in high school. He left her unexpectedly ten years ago and she never knew why. For the past ten years no one has even come close to making her feel how he has made her feel. Now she is back in town. A fourth grade school teacher. He is the president of the Savage Kings MC. He knows that he is not right for Heather. But something keeps drawing them together. Until they can’t fight it any more.
Brock King is President of Savage Kings MC not having a very good morning. Savage Kings rivals have stolen from them in part of their ongoing war. When Brock meets a blast from his past Heather Richards, he's smitten. Heather remembers the boy Brock used to be not the man he's become. Will they admit their feelings or go their separate ways? Find out in Savage Redemption. Until next time Happy Reading!
This was a good start to the series and is the start to Brock and Heather's story but its not a full book its the first couple of chapters of their story so figure it will be spread out over the next several books.
I love Brock & Heather. Wonderful characters. Hot chemistry. I couldn't get enough & can't wait to read the next book. Since it ends on a cliffhanger. This was also a new author, for me. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Standard Serial Novellas, nothing deep and feels like one book released like each chapter is a book. Audiobook Production Company should invest in a good editor. Narrator wasn't bad but they didn't edit out her stumbles.
Lots of action, steamy scenes, betrayals and new loves. Enjoyed reading about each club member and what they have gone through. This review is for the boxset which doesn't have a link here.
Chance encounters sparks old chemistry but they are two very different people now
Savage Redemption is the first "book" in the Savage Kings MC series and is the first book by Carter Steele. Be warned that this is the first part of an ongoing story of one couple which is spread over 4 books. Each ends in a bit of a cliffhanger and the next book starts right after. This story is about Brock and Heather, high school sweethearts who may get a second chance even though they lead very different lives now.
Brock King is twenty-eight and for the last several years he has been the President of the Savage Kings MC. It was a club that his father started when he was ten years old and he led it until he was killed ten years ago by a member of the the Anarchists. Heather Richards is twenty-eight years old and is the fourth grade teacher at Romara Elementary school. She grew up in Romara and after graduation went to UCLA and got her degree. Then she worked in finance in San Francisco but wanted something less stressful and more relevant so she became a teacher there before coming back home. Brock and Heather had been a couple for two years in high school but then he walked away without telling her anything and breaking her heart. So when they see each other again at one of the local coffee houses early one morning, her before school and him after some club business, they are surprised but also their curiosity is piqued about each other. They definitely have some smoldering chemistry between them, after all Brock has grown up and filled out with a lot of muscle. Plus add in the beard and the new attitude and it is like catnip for Heather. When Heather gets to school she tells another teacher, who is also a friend, that she saw Brock Jess warns her off him. He is after all a criminal. After the school day Heather needs a drink or two and stops in at Porter Ridge Brewing where none other than Brock is already sitting at the bar. They each "ignore" the other while still peaking. Brock breaks the ice by moving to sit next to Heather and the flirting begins, along with a pool game that has an interesting bet. But club business must be dealt with and Brock walks out the door leaving Heather behind again.
So I thought this was in interesting story-line that was a pretty good start to the story of Brock and Heather. It has action, mystery, danger, some romance/sex but also disappointment and longing. The writing was a bit choppy and some of the dialogue was a sophomoric at times. There are also a number of proofreading errors - words missing, spelling mistakes, inconsistent details, etc. Overall the book was good and I am interested enough to read the next book in the series.
