Pasislėpusi stirnaitė

Rate this book
Stirnos buvo tokios baikščios, jos slėpėsi Lolos sodo šešėliuose...

Persikėlusi į naujus namus Lola ilgisi senosios mokyklos ir draugių. Bet jos gyvenime atsiranda ir smagių dalykų. Jai patinka namas su didžiuliu apleistu sodu, ji džiaugiasi stirnomis, kurios retsykiais užklysta pro plyšį tvoroje.

Vieną dieną Lola po gervuogių krūmu užtinka stirnaitę, likusią be mamos. Ji pasiryžusi padaryti viską, kad padėtų išsigandusiai mažylei, bet ar pavyks išgelbėti stirnaitę? Ir kas ateis Lolai į pagalbą?

I love reading this book. It’s been on my shelf all summer and I finally got round to reading it. It’s about a girl who is moving house and having to start at a new school. At her new house she finds fawn and she tries to help it. The books covers lots of topics which could link into the classroom, for example, starting a new school, friendships and about wild animals (not getting too attached etc.).

I really really enjoyed this book! I absolutely loved how the book is filled with such exciting and unique creatures and Holly has such brilliant descriptions of all the characters personalities. I would describe it as an adventure as Lola, the main character has such a new experience. The illustrations are outstanding I love them because they are soo beautiful, James Brown is as good an illustrator as Holly Webb is as being an author. The book makes me have HOPE that if some people are like Lola that this might inspire people to give animals better human care. Finally, Holly Webb really deserves to be a best selling author! I totally...LOVE this book!!!

This was a sweet story and perfect for younger readers and animal lovers alike. Lola, her mother and Uncle Chris were lovely characters and I loved how they cared for the abandoned fawn they found. A heartwarming read.

This is about a girl called Lola, who has moved to a new house with her mom. They spot deers in their garden and have to rescue some. One got stuck on the football net, and shortly after it’s mother dies so Lola fed it milk every day until it was aloud to be wild. Lola has to move schools because she lives too far away, and makes a friend called Paige. They fall out over Lola not telling her she found the deer but they become friends again and they have fun at Paige’s party.

Na můj vkus tam bylo moc dramat. Mrtvá srna, utracený kocour...

s. 66 „A podařilo se vám ho nakonec osvobodit?“ zeptala se slečna Addisonová.
A co bys řekla, když to uvedla větou: „V pátek jsme s mámou zachránily srnečka.“ (s. 66)

s. 13 sezdálo

This book read a little more like a guide to how to perfectly deal with the particular situation the character found herself in rather than a story. It was a nice idea, I just didn't find the characters believable and lacking in any depth

Super sweet story with really surprisingly mature subplot about the struggles in friendships and how lying always catches up with you. I loved reading this story with my students, it was so whimsical and a very peaceful story about friendship and new beginnings!
