What a plot twist!

Les choses sérieuses commencent enfin! Y a des rebondissements plutôt inattendus et ça c'est cool!
à un moment je me suis dit "ah ouais ça va aller dans ce sens? wow" et puis bim retournement de situation. Moi c'est ce que je veux lire donc là j'étais plutôt enchantée et ravie.
En ayant lu les 10 premiers tomes, je peux déjà émettre un avis global concernant cette série ; malheureusement je sais déjà que ça ne sera pas un coup de cœur malgré les petites améliorations que j'ai noté dans ces 2 derniers tomes. Tout simplement parce que tous les petits bémols que je vous ai cité dans les précédentes chroniques ont fait que ça m'a rebuté dans ma lecture. Le côté ecchi/fan service vraiment trop prononcé + que dans Fairy Tail et Rave selon moi. Les personnages principaux sont tous attachants et j'ai mes préférés ça je peux pas le nier. Par contre, tout va beaucoup trop vite à mon goût, j'ai cette sensation de rush constant avec ce manga. Et j'ai aussi cette impression que le mangaka ne prend pas vraiment de risque avec cette nouvelle série. J'ai quand même noté pas mal de bonnes choses dans ce manga : un système de magie vraiment sympa, des planches de paysage vraiment super bien détaillées et waouh, des persos attachants qui mériteraient d'avoir un peu + de relief. Des éléments cool par ci par là qui entretiennent le mystère. J'aurais aimé voir un peu + une ambiance de groupe soudé, des attaques groupés en duo/trio... Bref, peut-être que ça arrivera par la suite, peut-être la suite pourrait me surprendre ça je sais pas. à voir

Rebecca und Happy werden von Drakken Joe gefangen genommen. Dabei stellt sich heraus, dass Rebecca Nummer 29 sein soll. Sie selbst kann sich darauf keinen Reim machen und weiß nicht, was Drakken Joe damit meint. Aber auch Shiki und der Rest haben ihre Probleme. Die Zeit läuft gegen sie und vor allem gegen Weisz, der seine Medizin ganz dringend braucht.
Das Cover gefällt mir richtig gut. Man sieht die gesamte Edens Zero Crew. Ich kann euch gar nicht in Worten beschreiben wie sehr ich diese Charaktere liebe. Sie sind alle einzigartig und ergänzen auf ihre Art und Weise das Team. Der Zeichenstil ist wieder grandios. Hiro Mashima zählt für mich zu den besten Mangaka. Sein Stil ist unvergleichbar und sein Ideenreichtum ist unerschöpflich.
Zu den Charakteren brauche ich, glaube ich, nicht viel sagen. Seit nun 10 Bänden begleite ich Shikis und Rebeccas Reise und ich habe noch lange nicht genug von den Beiden und ihren Freunden.
Der Manga hat sich wieder richtig gut lesen lassen. Nur blöd, dass ich ihn so schnell gelesen habe und jetzt wieder auf den nächsten Band warten muss. Diese Reihe hat ein enormes Suchtpotential.

Rebecca è prigioniera di Drakken Joe e cerca di aiutare Shiki a non finire nella trappola dell'uomo. Ma una serie di circostanze porteranno a momenti scioccanti e a rivelazioni sulla stessa Rebecca e di alcuni poteri che sono assopiti in lei e che Drakken vuole usare a suo vantaggio... Ci riuscirà? Queste rivelazioni su Rebecca rimangono misteriose, nel senso che non capiamo subito chi sia, anche se nel corso del volume succede un fatto che cambia tutta la storia, ma non ne vengono dati grandi particolari e quindi il tutto rimane un pochino confuso nel suo complesso. Di per se questo nuovo ruolo dato a Rebecca è bello e nuovo, intrigante se sarà ben sviluppato. Il punto sarà questo, se Mashima riuscirà a tenere testa e a sviluppare la storia con coerenza e renderla più interessante e intrigante sfruttando anche questi nuovi elementi. Questo è il mio timore perché non vorrei che sia una cosa che non sarà valutata andando avanti nella storia o usata un po' ex-machina per risolvere situazioni senza alcun altra via d'uscita. Speriamo non sia così e anche anche venga data una giusta spiegazione su Rebecca e questo suo potere che la rende richiesta da Drakken.

Now in his clutches the truth behind Rebecca's Ether gear comes to light even as this normally more upbeat series takes on a far more dangerous and dark tone as all hope seems to be fading away against the already powerful Drakken Joe and his minions. What connection does Drakken Joe have with Rebecca and what happens when her gear's true power activates are to be found within these pages as a very bad experience moves on to the next scene. Don't lose hope part way through. Things are already starting to look better though the future still holds many dangers and challenges for the Eden Zero crew.

Ok this is a very dark volume with everything going wrong for the team as we learn what Drakken Joe's true goal which is Rebecca as we learn more about her mysterious power. But my main issue with this volume is that they use time travel. And not in an interesting but basically as a reset button and I am not a big fan of having something like in the story as it makes conflict seem meaningless as if the team gets in trouble they can just reset it until they win. So I hope they nerf the power in some way.

5/5 What a wild volume though some could complain that the ending is a little bit of a cop out I enjoyed it’s craziness. After Weisz is shot and Rebecca is kidnapped. Rebecca wakes up in the clutches of Draken Joe. Soon the team mobilizes for rescue and faces their most ferocious and brutal battles yet. Good stuff.

4.5 stars. The way the first half of this volume broke me. Not okay 😭 But I am very excited to see the time travel trope explored. And to see whats up with Rebecca 🤔

Mengejutkan! volume kesepuluh dari Edens Zero membuatku kehilangan kata-kata karena plotnya yang tidak terduga. Sama sekali tidak berekspektasi kalau cerita akan semakin gelap disini.
Berawal dari Rebecca dan Happy yang tertangkap oleh Drakken Joe. Sementara shiki bertarung dengan anak buah Drakken Joe yang kesemuanya lebih kuat daripada semua kru kapal Edens Zero, situasi bertambah genting ketika semua kru ikut tertangkap. Berhasilkah mereka melarikan diri?
Kejutan demi kejutan dihadirkan kali ini menambah berbagai misteri yang akan menambah rasa penasaran, serta memainkan emosi pembaca dengan amat lihai. Aku benar-benar terguncang bagaimana volume ini memiliki alur yang gelap serta plot twist yang mengagetkan.
Inti cerita dari Edens Zero ini mengisahkan perjalanan luar angkasa, dimana mereka mengunjungi dari suatu planet ke planet lain. Tapi kali ini mereka menerobos masuk ke Kapal milik Drakken Joe membuat alurnya yang tidak monoton sekaligus dibalut dengan plot yang sangat memuaskan.
Edens Zero mulai bergulir ke arah yang lebih baik, sebagai penikmat setia karya Hiro Mashima aku merasa puas membaca seri manga ini. Dari segi gambar sudah sangat menunjukkan ciri khas Hiro Mashima, dengan pemandangan luar angkasa yang indah.

Otro tomo del manga que más he leído, el más nuevo trabajo de Hiro Mashima, quien me enamoró con su trabajo en Fairy Tail y ahora escrbe esta historia llena de ciencia ficción, aunque sin perder ese estilo tan característico.
La historia continua con el arco de Drakken Joe justo en el momento en que los personajes estaban en su mayor peligro y ahí va moviendo la historia. Me sorprendió el giro que el autor le dio al tomo, pues esperaba que fuese más de batallas épicas, pero Mashima decidió parar con eso e irse por crear tensión y drama. Es raro que un ator decida hacer que sus personajes pierdan tan rotundamente como lo hizo aquí, pero Mashima dejó la historia siguiese este curso trágico, con la mutilación de Weiss y finalmente con la muerte de Shiki. Todos sabíamos que Mashima no iba a matar a su protagonista en el tomo 10, pero el hecho de que haya pasado fue impactante de ver.
Aun así todo quedó en nada gracias al recién descubierto poder de Rebecca, y aunque claramente se siente como un deus ex machina, también se entiende que esa fue siempre la intensión. Todas esas escenas dramáticas no estaban más que para ser revertidas. Lo que claramente deja al tomo como un puente entre el anterior y el siguiente, que será el que cierre el arco. Esto hizo que en este no pudiera disfrutar de muchas batallas, pero destaco las escenasdel final.
Edens Zero se ha convertido en uno de mis mangas favoritos y espero seguir leyéndolo este año. Hasta que lea el siguiente tomo, solopuedo decir que me está gustando bastante.

A very exciting volume, especially with the fights against opponents who are so obviously stronger than the main crew. I liked that the story got darker here, yet another distinction, along with having ‘actual’ villains. By that I mean not having them all reform after getting yelled at about friendship during a battle.
I’m glad Rebecca finally awakened her powers, and the power scaling shown in this volume emphasizes just how far the main crew still has to go strength-wise. I look forward to all future training arcs!! >:)
Edens Zero is really starting to get rolling now, what with reappearing characters and enemies who’ve been hinted at in previous volumes. It’s well on its way to become a very hype series! Reading the manga before the anime is definitely better for me, because when there’s exciting and stunning panels I anticipate seeing it animated that much more.
One of my favorite things about manga volumes are when the author puts a note or an afterword at the end. It’s always so interesting to read about what goes into creating manga, and it’s nice to know the author is as excited about the anime adaptation as the fans are.
All in all, very good plot and pacing, EZ10 kept me riveted all the way through.
