Rate this book
Hotwives. They’re not just women in open relationships. They’re not just women who cheat on their husbands. And they’re certainly not just myths.

Now that Paul Sharpe has discovered them, it’s time to explore, and Eleanor Heller is the perfect first-time hotwife to do it with. Beneath her cultured, proper exterior hides a wild side ready for Paul to unleash. Does she have a limit? Are there any lines that they will not cross?

Find out in book two of Kenny Wright’s five-part Bull’s Eye series.

Well, if the Part 1 was a short plot-setter, this longer second part has you riveted.

This story has strong characters that come to life, on the surface they are privileged, self-obsessed and at times arrogant, but Kenny also gives you a glimpse underneath at their vulnerabilities.

This is all happening as the 3 main characters are thrown together professionally to deal with a crisis: Paul, now thrust into leading his charity out of trouble, just as he has discovered the new dynamic of being a ‘Hotwifing’ couple’s ‘’Bull’, Eleanor, charity funder and beautiful, submissive millionaire’s wife and stunning married, steely-eyed blonde Heather, a top PR consultant.

With the exception of the final chapter, this is told from the ‘Bull’s’ perspective. It’s fascinating following Paul’s relationship with his first couple and how it evolves as limits are pushed. We also get a rare insight into a ‘bull’s’ nervousness and concerns.

I strongly recommend you get into this series.

I really dug this sexual romp! The Hotwife took a while to realize that’s what she was, but…I dug it

Great series.

I hesitated to start this series because I wasn’t sure what I thought about a story from the bull’s perspective. This series was more than great. It was fantastic.

How could you not fall in love with Manhattan and really like and respect Jamison. Ellie was another great character who you had to appreciate and respect.

The story is packed with hot sex throughout.

This story is a must must must read and anyone who starts and doesn’t finish this series is crazy.

Mr Wright was superb in changing up the characters and making me thing at times that my opinion was going to change but he always brought them back from the edge. I am going to leave it at that so I don’t give a way too much.

So much more than the well trodden path

Tremendous character development supported by a robust story line that roles from one delicioso revelation to the next. Rich scenes played out in exquisite detail with some nice surprises along the way.

Hot series a different POV

This series is unusual in that the Bull is giving his insight into a relationship that many adventures would not have the fortitude to step up and enjoy. Hot in its focus.

I’m a big fan of Kenny Wright’s stories and this was a good one. However, it was different and it took me a little time to figure out why.

Kenny usually writes from either the Hotwife (Elie) or Cuckold’s (Ron’s) perspective and I particularly like the developing/evolving relationship between the couple. Through the first half of this story, the Bull (Paul) is on his own, so he doesn’t really have anyone to talk to; there’s little examination of his motivations, concerns or how he is evolving. It’s more of him just stepping up his Bull demands/requirements. And Paul doesn’t take the time to discuss with Hotwife Elie how this is affecting her, her husband Ron or their relationship. The book does advance the underlying story and the Bulling but the relationship story is little discussed.

About halfway through, another party becomes aware of Paul’s Bulling and they begin to discuss the relationship dynamics more. Plus there’s a possibility that this third party will become another willing hotwife for Paul. For me, this is where this story really began to soar the way only Kenny Wright can write them.

This book is not a real cliffhanger (which I really don’t like), but let’s just say there are lots of opportunities going forward. And these opportunities have a foundation for much more relationship dialogue, which for me is the key for good erotica. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

One other issue for me; I’m a big fan of realistic scenarios in my erotica. The underlying story here strayed too far into the unrealistic for me. I like people who take risks to have fun and bring genuine excitement to their lives. This “exciting” edge was well over the line for me as it didn’t just have consequences for the consenting adults, but discovery had potentially catastrophic consequences for the organization they were working for. Sadly I’ve seen similar reckless (non sexual) behavior in real life and I have a tough time seeing past the self centered nature of this behavior. I have tried to put this aside in my rating.

In the end I’m at 4 Stars for this book - a low rating from me for this author. But I’m excited for the next book in the series. It has the potential to be fantastic!
