Big Sky Royal #1

Enchanting Sebastian

Rate this book
The first in an all new stand-alone trilogy set in Kristen Proby's Big Sky world, Enchanting Sebastian will take your breath away!

Turning thirty-five doesn’t mean much to most men. For Sebastian Wakefield, it’s the end of life as he knows it.
When your father is the King of England, thirty-five is the year that a marriage will be arranged, a suitable bride cementing a future you didn’t choose. The obvious solution for escaping the archaic laws of the throne is for Sebastian to leave the country. And where better to go than America?

Nina Wolfe has spent her career avoiding scandal. As a Hollywood publicist and minor celebrity in her own right, she knows exactly what it takes to keep the media at bay—and what will send them into a frenzy.

Prince Sebastian hiding out in Cunningham Falls, Montana is an unlikely story. Ending up in his bed, even more so. And keeping their arrangement out of the press might just be impossible. The ring on her finger is about to spark a firestorm that will change her life, and no professional spin will help Nina fit into the world of royalty.

Only love could write an enchanting new beginning—if they’ll let themselves fall.

Favorite Quotes:

Just from her tone, I can tell this is going to be a doozy of a conversation. Pack your bags, we’re going on a guilt trip. “What are you up to, Mom?” “Oh, you know, just watching some television. I’m quite sure I have cancer, by the way.”

The women in Hollywood can be ruthless, but it seems these noble women are just plain savage. The mean-girl syndrome spans the globe.

It hasn’t been heaven. It’s heaven times a million. It’s like if heaven married chocolate and wine and they had spa babies. It’s the best ever.

His kiss is long and slow. Incredibly romantic. Is it possible to get pregnant from just a kiss? Because if so, I’m pretty sure I’m having triplets.

My Review:

I was a bit hesitant about picking this one up as the premise, cover, and title sounded a bit… I don’t want to say cheesy, but, yeah, that. But, on the other hand, I’ve read and thoroughly enjoyed this author a few times now so I took the gamble and am now feeling so smart and proud of myself for my excellent foresight ~ snort. Enchanting Sebastian was a sweet, sexy, and entertaining tale with a comfortable balance of insightful musings, witty humor, and observant narration. Written in my favorite dual POV, the storylines were interesting, easy to follow, well-paced, and cast with endearing and enticing characters from British bluebloods to small-town Montana.

I can't say I'm the biggest fan of Royalty books, but I am a huge fan of Kristen Proby so I was excited to get my hands on this story. Especially after meeting Nina in Kissing Jenna and knowing without a doubt that she'd have an amazing book.

Sebastian and Nina's relationship was complicated in a way, but it was also very easy, which I liked a lot. There was very low angst and drama, and we got to see them grow as a couple even though it started out as just an arrangement. I loved that we were able to see how they were able to move from neither of them wanting a real relationship to then seeing them fall in love for real.

Overall, definitely a recommended read and one I can't wait to see everyone else love as much as I did. The book doesn't end on a cliffhanger per se, but it definitely leaves you wanting more about a secondary character so I'm dying to get that story.

A Royal 5 stars for this girl.

There are a few reasons why I gave this 5 stars:

1. I love anything to do with Royals and I’m just so fascinated with that whole lifestyle.

2. Arranged marriage. Yes please.

3. This story really touched on some notes from my childhood/life. I could identify with Nina and how she viewed love.

“How do you define love?” She bites her lip. “Love is when you can depend on someone to stay.”

This quote made me tear up big time because I have felt like this and was changed by my husband. Like Sebastian, he showed me what real true love is.

I loved Nina’s sass, humor and her fearlessness. So many of her parts really gripped my heart.

Now Sebastian, he was a dream from the beginning. Wanting his choice in who he married, not his dad’s so he had the perfect Montana woman in mind. What happens when London & Montana mix. You’ve got to read and find out. Had to rub my chest with this quote.

“I’ve gained her trust. One day, I hope to earn her love.”

He knew he was done for, head over heels in love early on and I loved that it was him and not her. She resisted love for as long as she could due to fear, and hurt that people caused in her life that “loved” her the most.

I could go on and on, but in a nutshell. This book was such a delight and I can’t wait to go back and read about the other characters that are in this book. Kristen Proby has a new fan!!

5 ‘Royally Enchanted’ Stars

WOW! Enchanted is indeed the correct definition for all that Sebastian and Nina’s love story brought to my heart! Only Ms. Proby could give us the most captivatingly realistic Royal romance! A true fairytale come to life, Enchanting Sebastian is Royalty Perfection!

I adore a good Royal Romance, and when Kristen Proby announced this new spin off to one of my favorite series of hers, as Bid Sky Royal, I was impatiently waiting for this story. Specially considering the rocky introduction we had to Nina’s character in Kissing Jenna. I can honestly say Ms. Proby couldn’t have made it work more beautifully.

Arranged marriage turned true fairytale come to life, how could I not have loved every second of it?!

Is this what they mean when they talk about being kissed silly? It’s new for me.

Nina, that we know from the previous books, as sister and publicist for the actor Christian Wolfe, is now settled in Montana too and enjoying the quiet Cunningham Falls brings us, but something, a new purpose is missing.

Prince Sebastian is getting close to his thirty fifth birthday, and feeling not only the pressure that date will bring him, but the decline for an arranged marriage if he doesn’t decide to take the decision in his own hands. As the next in line to the throne of England, and no wish for it, he escapes to Montana, and literally bumps in the woman that can be the answer to all this problems, and maybe, not just that… Maybe they are just what the other needs, and never thought they’d have… ;)

Do not fall in love with this man, Nina. Love is off the table. I have to keep reminding myself of that because he’s just so good. Kind and sweet. Funny. Caring.
He freaking braided my hair!

I love a good arranged marriage, and the way that Kristen Proby intertwine these two characters, their realism, their doubts, issues, conflicts and feelings, was as always characteristic of her masterful writing. The combination of the rationality of their arrangement and the royal insider view in Enchanting Sebastian gave this tale such an incredibly down to earth feeling that is proof once again of the talent the author has to always create relatable and transports us to their universe. I never thought I read a Royal Romance where I completely emerged in their world, and not for one second it felt foreign to me. Ms. Proby managed to ‘humanize’ the royals in our eyes, almost like they were like any other of the Montana gang, specially the trio that we know to be the main characters of this spin off series. And that for me is priceless and oh so addictive!

Nina and Sebastian were so well coupled, and from the start we could see that the arrangement would easily transform into so much more, with how much chemistry and attraction was there from the start, from the very first bump into one another. There were obstacles, sure, wouldn’t have been a romance novel if not for these intriguing moments, but once again Ms. Proby weaved her magic with not only deep seated emotional charge, but her trademark, very mature conflict handling. Her characters are just so incredibly complex and real! I adore that!

I adored Nina’s complexity and grace, but Sebastian, oh my, completely stole my heart! He was the definition of Prince Charming! His patience, his devotion, and his unwavering love, made me melt into a puddle, and worship the ground he steps on. Seriously, the man was as swoon worthy as possible! Talk about the perfect introduction to these royals!

Sweet, emotional, funny and beyond sexy, Enchanting Sebastian was the PERFECT way to start this new Big Sky Royals, not only by the introduction of the Royals in question, but also by the intertwining of the previous Big Sky characters and world with these new royalty characters and scenario. Nina and Sebastian’s fairytale love story was without a doubt the perfect blend and transition for all this new stories to come. And after all the teasers we got for not only Ellie but Callum, I can’t wait for these Royals to storm Montana! I’ already DYING after that ending, need the next book STAT! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

“If the definition of love is someone who stays, I’m here, Nina. I’m here for all of my days. I’ve fallen in love with you, and I don’t say those words blithely. It’s not something to just toss around.”

This was absolutely charming. Mix royals with an arranged marriage between a jaded woman and a sexy sweetheart of a guy and you have a winner for me. Loved it! Happy reading!

Like the author, Kristen Proby, I love watching or reading anything about the Royal family. While she uses England as a backdrop and a Royal family in this story, her interpretation is unique and kept me reading about Nina and Sebastian. The author wastes no time bringing these two together.

Nina has been around celebrity royalty forever, her brother is a huge star and she’s in charge of his PR. While her friends and her brother have found love she’s vowed it will never happen to her. Besides her brother, she hasn’t been able to lean on anyway. Family and friends have always disappointed her. That is until Sebastian walks into her life.

Sebastian is tired of all the pomp and circumstance of being Royal. He desperately wants to settle down. He thinks he can find happiness without love. His solution is to find someone already in the business. Who better to ask than Nina.

The pair decide to marry but they vow not to get their feelings involved. This was short lived as Sebastian was half in love her before they wed. I liked the different liberties the author took with the nuisances of the Royals and their customs. While I thought it was a sweet book, I did need a tissue or two, I wish the couple would have been friends before they got married. The ending was perfect and I’ll be waiting for other books in this series.

4.5, Sweet & Swoon-worthy Stars!!

Words can not express how excited I was to see Enchanting Sebastian land on my kindle. I mean, I fell in love with this book the moment I laid eyes on the cover and I was so happy to see this book live up to my expectations….

Enchanting Sebastian follows the story of Sebastian and Nina. To some, turing 35 is just another day. But, for Sebastian, turning 35 feels like the end of the world. You see, long ago, it was decided that if you weren’t married by the age of 35, then a marriage would be arranged for you. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also the fact that Sebastian has no desire to be king. As his 35th birthday looms closer, Sebastian is overwhelmed and just has to get away from it all. So, get away from it all is what he does…..Nina has spent her entire life avoiding scandal. As a Hollywood publicist for her famous brother, she’s used to putting out fires and knows how to avoid the spotlight. The last thing Nina ever planned for was Sebastian. He turns her whole world upside down and has her thinking of things she never wanted. Suddenly, Nina finds herself engaged to none other than Prince Sebastian. If Nina thought her world was turned upside down before, she has no clue what she’s gotten herself into….

Enchanting Sebastian is the kind of book that you just want to curl up on the couch with and just spend your entire day getting lost in. From royals to a marriage of convience and falling in love when you’re not supposed to, this book checked off all of my boxes. I laughed. I swooned. I feel totally head over heels for Sebastian and Nina. I kid you not, my face hurt from smiling so much. Enchanting Sebastian was just the sweet, swoon worthy love story that I was looking for. It was light on the drama, heavy on the swoon and steam, and it kept me begging for more.

Enchanting Sebastian is the first book in the all new Big Sky Royals Series from author Kristen Proby, and I gotta tell you, this book knocked my socks off. I loved every second of this book from beginning to end. I loved the characters, the friendship and romance. I loved the cameos from new friends and old ones as well.

I think this series is off to a terrific start and I can not wait to see who this author has us falling head over heels for next!

Bring on the Royals!!

Nina and Prince Sebastian were everything I hoped for and more and I had really high hopes!!! I’ve loved Nina since Christian and Jenna’s book and hoped someone worthy of knocking down all of her walls would come around. Sebastian did not disappoint. He was so supportive and loving and sexy as hell. Nina is so strong and loyal and just needed the right person to melt her tough exterior and find their way in.

What I loved most about this story was that on several occasions I thought I knew how the story was going and I was wrong almost every time. Somehow, KP just weaves this journey full of incredible characters (main and supporting) and takes you down a road you never imagined. Enchanting was such a beautiful love story.

Her first books in a series are always so good! She develops characters and lays a foundation for the whole series. I feel ready for next few books already!! I can’t wait to read Ellie and Callum’s books and maybe even a novella or something for Freddie (Frederick) and Catherine. It seemed like there was a little story to tell for those two as well. I can not wait!

Well if you’re looking for a sweet read then this might be just for you. Not really any angst, the only angst there was was when the heroine became a bitch to the hero and hurt his feelings. Hero was actually ok.
I just hate when authors throws in celebrities names in their books. Makes me roll my eyes so much and the royals? Come on! Anyway this book was safe. There’s almost no OW drama just some catty women saying some things and heroine overhears them and some jealousy coming from the hero side.
I hate when authors demonized the MCs parents. There’s no need for this. To throw the heroine’s mother’s ashes in a velvet bag and put them in a plastic box was a shitty thing to do even if the mother wasn’t a good mother. This is just me. I’m a mommy’s girl and just bother me that mothers get treated poorly in books.

Got to luv a bit of Royalty.

This book was really good I've been looking forward to this book. I don't read the blurb to this author I just know I'm goin to luv it and goin in not know much is alway great. All I needed to know was it had royalty and the Big Sky gang are in it so I knew it was goin to be good. This is the first book in the new series and it was great from start to finish I was hooked. There was drama all the way through so much happened you definitely won't get bored. I was dying to know how things were goin to work out between Nina and Sebastian. They are from very different place but as people they have a few things in common. There attraction to each other was instant Sebastian took one look at Nina knew she was the woman he wanted and would do anything to get. There was a reason why he needed to work fast with Nina time was on his side and he didn't want anyone else.

Free Image Hosting at FunkyIMG.com

Nina isn't your normal woman life as been crazy for her being the PA to your brother who is a famous Hollywood actor would make your life crazy but she luvd her brother and would do anything for him. Thinks had gotten less crazy now her brother was married and happy living in Montana where they lived. There was only the 2 of them there mother wasn't the best mother in the world and wore Nina out with her demanding way. She was the only one how to had to deal with her. The history between her mum and brother was very frosty but she tried to keep calm and not lose her temper even though it was hard at times. So with all this craziness she never really made time for men and relationships luv was a thing she would let herself get into. That was until Prince Sebastian ask Nina out. Then after that it was where everything got crazy and Nina's life went from being a normal girl to a princess.

This story was really good I did have a feeling I've read a book a bit like it but I still enjoyed it. Kristen Proby does amazing characters and this book was no different. Even though we got to see some new characters it was great to see the guys from the Big Sky series. That series is amazing and getting more of Nina is really good. Nina as a few different sides to her and some can be annoying but I get why she has them she is trying to protect herself. She hasn't come from a luvin family her brother is the only person to not leave it let her down. So she really needed to work on her trust. Sebastian was a patient guy and he really needed to be at time. Nina can be hard work but whenever he did calm her he just made things work between them. Sebastian isn't perfect well he is but he can be a bit of a nightmare at times to when his jealousy gets in the way. He isnt used to them feelings but where Nina is concerned his jealousy was strong. I would highly recommend this book everything was great I luvd it. If you havent read this other you really should she is brilliant.

OMG!!! I freaking FLOVED this book! A royals book PLUS all of our friends from the Big Sky Novels. I was in HEAVEN. This series is going to be so much fun.

Nina Wolfe isn't looking for love and she's perfectly fine with that. She's been burned by all those she thought loved her, except for her brother. So when the handsome Prince Sebation, ends up stalking her for a date, she really didn't think anything about it beyond a great looking guy looking for a night out. So when the Prince ends their first date with a proposition of marriage, she thinks she's hearing things.

Sebastion isn't going to let his father or the monarchy choose who is going to marry. But he only has a few months to find a wife before he's given one. So when he meets the beautiful Nina while visiting his friend in Montana, he thinks he's found the woman just for him. He only needs to convince her that they would be perfect together. Whether she loves him or not.

This was such a romantic, swoony read. I mean what girl hasn't thought about being swept away by a gorgeous prince and given the world. Nina is a stubborn yet passionate woman and as Sebation starts to fall for the sassy woman, he mustn't let on, in fear of losing her forever.

A great first peek into the life of the Royals and can't wait for book 2

This story is everything I love about reading a Kristen Proby book. I was so absolutely entranced by Sebastian and Nina that I was addicted page after page until I had devoured the book within a day. This is one of those stories that you don't want to end but can't stop yourself from reading because it's that damn good! Sebastian and Nina were sheer perfection with their sexy as sin chemistry, passion for each other, affection for their families and love that blossomed day after day. This is definitely one enchanting love story you need to read!

I've become a lover of royal fiction, and this is exactly what I look for. Enchanting Sebastian by Kristen Proby is divine! Sweet but not drowning in sugar. Dramatic but not heavy like a sack of potatoes. The balance of wit, heat and twists was perfect. Nina appears to be tough, but there is depth to her character under the hard shell. Sebastian is not the typical royal like I would imagine, and that is refreshing. Obviously, this whole scheme could not be as simple as it seemed. Sebastian and Nina should have known better! Stepping into this world is pure delight, and I enjoyed everything about the story. Definitely recommend!

Ok I am putting it out there I didn’t like Nina all that much her rules of never loving but that kind of all comes out and then I got it. I needed to see the bigger picture and then it kind of all clicked for me.

Sebastian is cute and strong willed he knew he didn’t want to be King so he had to do what he thought was right it just so happened that fate/love was working with him when he found Nina.

100% loved Sebastian’s family and how they might not agree with the way he went about it they were still open minded.
Loved the narration, the accents felt fluid and not forced.

Nina Wolfe is used to life next to the spotlight. As her brother, Christian’s publicist, she is used to steering the media and controlling the story. But since Christian has stepped back from the Hollywood spotlight, Nina finds herself in need of a project. Sebastian Wakefield, next in line for the British crown, is facing his 35th birthday, the deadline before a wife will be chosen for him. He isn’t keen on his bride being chosen for him, so heads to Montana to visit an old friend and get away from the pressure and expectations.

Nothing could be further from a smooth media story than the arrangement they strike, and when she winds up in his bed and with his ring on her finger, the media will be nothing compared to the storm from the Royal Family.

Nina wanted an adventure, and she sure found one. She thought she knew what she was in for when she agreed to Sebastian’s request, but the reality was more than she bargained for. Everyone loves a good civilian to royalty fantasy, but the reality that Nina found was more than her media savvy self could imagine.

This is classic Kristen Proby with a royal spin! I loved the connections between Big Sky and this new royal connection. Starting off in Montana made this royal storyline easy to connect to. The cameos from favorite Big Sky characters gave this couple a fun push in the beginning, and the royal circus that started as their news spread only added fire to an already enchanting plot.

The story is good, light and easy to read. The reason why I gave it a 3 is because I can't forget that the heroine is rude and a raging b*tch to Jenna previously.. So I don't feel she deserves to be a princess..
I am interested to meet Liam on the next book

~ 5 Royal Stars ~

Enchanting Sebastian was pure Kristen Proby GOLD!! This was such a romantic, swoony and fun loving love story between a Prince and an American Sweetheart. I loved the realism of the story as well as the fiction of the storyline. You will be swept up in this story right from the start.

Enchanting Sebastian is the first book in Kristen Proby’s royal spin off series. This is a new standalone series that is set in the Big Sky world. No you don’t have to read The Big Sky series to enjoy this book. You do though see other characters from that series in this book. My one suggestion before reading this book would be to read Kissing Jenna, that is the book we meet Nina in and it also gives you some of her personality and her connection to her brother Christian in that book. Now it is NOT necessary to read it first, though I highly recommend it. Kristen does an amazing job connecting all the characters without feeling like you are missing something.

This story was a fairly quick read, but it lacked for nothing. You get all the feels you want to feel in a 5 star read. This story is told in Dual POV. I felt the flow and pace of the story was great.

What happens when an arrangement between the Prince of England and a single American woman becomes something more??? That’s the question that is answered in Enchanting Sebastian.

In this book we follow the journey of Sebastian and Nina. Sebastian is the Prince of England and is the next in line for the throne. But he is also nearing his 35h birthday and if he is not married by then, his father picks a wife for him. Not having it that way Sebastian hops a plane and heads to Montana to see his friend and hopefully find a suitable woman to marry. Little did he know she would quite literally run into him. Nina is a single woman who was the publish for her famous brother Christian. She has recently moved to Montana and was going to open her own business with friends, but when they both back out, she is left scrambling to figure out what to do with her life. Enter Prince Sebastian with a surprising proposal. Will Nina go along with his arrangement? What happens when really feelings come into play?? Can Sebastian make Nina open her heart to him and break down her walls?? Will they get their HEA?? Read this book to find out.

I loved seeing all of the Big Sky characters again in this story. It reminds me of the great friendship these people have. Making everyone wish they had friends like them. I also liked getting to know Sebastian’s family. I am looking forward to reading Ellie’s story next and then Callum’s book.

So if you are looking for a low angst, sweet, and swoony royal romance that will sweep you off your feet, then this is the book for you. This book was perfect to escape for an afternoon read. If you are a fan of Kristen Proby’s books, you don’t want to miss this newest series!! It was truly entertaining!!!

I love Kristen Proby and will pretty much read anything she writes, so I was very excited to see she had a new series coming out set again in Cunningham Falls, Montana.

Nina Wolfe is an ordinary girl living her life in Cunningham Falls. She was hoping to start her own business with two friends when the deal falls apart. It’s right at this time that she meets Sebastian, Prince of England, who is in Montana to find a wife so he can abdicate his throne (he doesn’t want to be king).

The book then starts to move at a rapid fire pace at this point. And some of what happened was a tad not believable (but it’s a fairy tale). Sebastian proposes, Nina says yes, put on social media, boom!

There is one problem. Nina doesn’t want to be in love, and tells Sebastian right up front that this is how she feels. She had a father who abandoned her and a mother who was quite frankly an awful character who didn’t love her own child. Suffice it to say, Nina has some real issues.

Despite her issues, Nina was a very likable character. Despite feeling she can’t love, she has a very close knit group of friends that she loves deeply, and she very much loves her brother, Christian. She charmed the King and Queen, and as an American, that’s saying something.

Sebastian was an absolutely fabulous character. He was sweet, kind and loving. He was tough at the same time, and quite jealous. There is a big cast of supporting characters, most notably Sebastian’s sister Eleanor and his security man Liam, whom the next book are about (yeah).

It was fun to go back to Cunningham Falls without a lot of drama, with well written characters and a great story. I would recommend this one for sure.

Such a sweet royal romance.

4,5 stars

This is the first standalone in the Big Sky Royal Series, that is connected to the Love Under the Big Sky and the Big Sky series, all of them taking place in Cunningham Fall, Montana.

It's the first time this author writes a royal romance and it was so great. I love her sweet and light writing, and now about the royal family, it was something out of a fairy tale.

Sebastian is running against time to find a wife that he himself chooses before his birthday, otherwise she will be chosen for him. Nina is not a romantic and doesn't believe in marriage for love.
So when he proposes to her as a deal benefiting them both, she takes it and embraces the challenge.
And boy, what a challenge.

It's not an easy trick joining the royal family, specially not being british, and more specially when feelings start to get bigger and complicates everything.

Enchanting Sebastian wasn't a part of the plan. But neither was being enchanted by him.

I think she and her family and friends accepted way too easily the craziness of an arranged marriage with a prince, considering she didn't even believe in marriage at all to begin with.
But the whole plot was sweet, funny and sexy, as you can expect from this author.

I totally enjoyed this story, and I can't wait for the next ones in the series.

Such an enchanting story!

I love Kristen Proby and I was beyond excited to discover she was writing a royal series. I mean, who doesn't love a handsome prince! Enchanting Sebastian, the first book in the series, is about Nina and Sebastian, and I was literally hooked from the very first page. Both characters sort of stumble upon one another at a time when they both were seeking something else in their lives--Nina, a new opportunity since her two business partners backed out of their upcoming business venture, and Sebastian, someone he could spend the rest of his life with.

Their attraction was almost immediate and if you're a fan of insta-love, theirs is certainly one you're going to fall head over heals for. Nina was put on the spot and a little taken aback meeting the Royal Family for the first time, but the drama that unfolds totally sets the platform for the rest of the story. As Nina learns the ins and outs of being royal and the love that she and Sebastian have for one another, I was just blown away at the magical feeling Proby's words had on me. Already the queen of romance, she just took it to another level and sprinkled it with some royalty.

Without a doubt, five fairytale stars!

It's okay.
Good story.
The situation of him needing to marry so he picks the heroine due to her resume and his attraction to her but how they expected this to work out, being realistic without the bigger scandal of a divorce, he's only known her a couple of days, they hardly know each other.
The author warns at the start that this book may contain spoilers for previous books by the author as it features a plethora of secondary characters and their stories are touched upon at times.
Here is small other woman drama, conversations overheard about his past.
No details.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
Interesting perspective about British royal life.
HEA.

Safe, not with others after meeting. Really not much mentioned of their past at all. Mean girls at a party was not needed to me, the H wasn't there. The one thing that bothered me was when she was upset and they were fighting, girl, you don't get to strike out at him, that was not cool. I guess I was taught to never strike out in anger, even a slap to the face. I enjoyed the year out epilogue.

Sebastian is a sweet and charming prince. He arrives in Cunningham Falls, literally runs into Nina and after the end of their first date he propositions her to become his wife.

He definitely wants her more that she does. I had really hoped my opinion of Nina would turn around in this book.Nina has a strong independent personality, and has been burned by love in the past. She embraces Sebastian's royal family but is also super stubborn and over the top with her sass. Her behaviour grated on my nerves the majority of the book. The fake marriage trope is usually one of my favourites but this one was lacking the chemistry that I usually expect to find in this storyline.
