As a comic fan, I like this script better than the one they went with.
-Catwoman and Penguin are the villains
-Vicki Vale is here
-Dick Grayson is here, and he's homeless
-Backstories aren't gone into. Oh well
-Penguin's real name is Mr. Boniface. Not Coblepot. Weird
-Bullock's first name is Eddie, not Harvey. Weird
-Dick's classic Robin costume is shown when Batman finds his hideout, but Dick is never in costume and there's no explanation of where it came from
-X Mas jokes galore
-A group of a red beret wearing street gang that love the Batman and walk the streets trying to protect it. This goes nowhere, even when Batman is framed for murder
-So here's the kicker. These Raven statues that Penguin is after belong to the 5 families of Gotham. A group that calls themselves the Raven Society. Court of Owls? Nope, and not nearly as cool. Of course Thomas Wayne knew about them and was shot because he didn't agree with them, because Thomas Wayne has to be the best human eva
-Batman rides a horse
-Bruce Wayne is allergic to cats. This is meaningless, but a funny joke
Good story, but needs some reworking. If it was made as if I would have liked it more. Loved to see this story adapted as an animated film, although Cat Woman might need to be reworked (the script goes a bit too far with how sexualized she is, full BDSM=villain thing going on here)
