When my past came knocking, I wasn’t expecting it to arrive in such a tempting package.

Lavender -- My parents weren’t the type to win any awards, but I did learn a few things. Like how to read lines of code and get through the backdoor of pretty much any site or program. I also learned about the man my mother dated when she’d met my dad, someone who has intrigued me for years. I never thought I’d get the chance to meet him, until my parents end up dead and I can’t think of anyone else who might be able to help. I know too much. My parents’ death wasn’t an accident, and now I’ve been targeted. If the infamous Voodoo Tracer can’t help me, then I’m screwed.

Reality is so much better than fantasy, and with one look, I know the reason I haven’t dated is because I was waiting. For him.

Wire -- I never really expected my past to come knocking at the front gates, nor did I expect it to be in such a sexy package. Lavender isn’t what I’d call a siren, but with her glasses perched on her nose, her messy hair, curvy figure, and adorable tees, she’s exactly what I want and don’t need. A nerdy, geeky, super intelligent woman who craves me as much as I crave her. So I did what any man would do… I claimed her. Now she’s mine, and if an enemy from my past thinks he can hurt her, I’d like to see him try. He might have killed her parents, but I will destroy anyone who tries to take her from me.

A great addition to the Dixie Reapers MC series.

Wire and Lavender's story was daring and I'm glad Wire found his plus one and maybe she will help Wire with the MC's hacking needs... her being a top hacker and all.

"She's so far gone. Ass over teakettle in love."

Harley Wylde Dixie Reapers MC bk 13 Wire

When Your Past Collides with Your Present

I wanted to laugh, cry, hug anyone and everyone special to me, moan, and laugh some more. Lavender (Dark Labyrinth) Roberts and Levin (Wire, Voodoo Tracker) Crawford find themselves in an over-the-top, instalove mess. Despite the darkness that permeates their story, I did enjoy this.

I'd always had a weak spot for gingers, and he had to be the sexiest one I’d ever seen.
-- Lavender Roberts

I love the support offered by the "old ladies" and other MCs when times call for assistance. I also love how Lavender stands her ground, ensuring the wellbeing of others who step up to try to protect her.

Oh, and Wire showing his alpha side? *rawr* Yeah, so worth it!

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator, Umi Markkanen, is as wonderful as always. 💛🎧💛

I told myself that I was going to pace it, not fly through Wire's book like I was trying to win a race. Yeah, that didn't happen but my intentions were good. I loved Lavender, she is an awesome chick. Wire is cool, I love a bad boy geek combo! I wish this one was longer, I would have loved to have seen him and Lavender together more. I really just wanted more time with them, I loved the characters that much! Loved the twist on this, that Wire had dated her mom when they were teenagers but they had only ever kissed. Lavender is a tech geek just like Wire and her parents and comfortable in her own skin. Awesome ending, simply loved every moment I spent with this story! Cannot wait for the next book, lord knows I can't control myself once it is in my hands!

“So this is the infamous Dark Labyrinth.”

Wire is a hacker (aka Voodoo Tracer) and so is Lavender (aka Dark Labyrinth). I have been looking forward to reading his story for some time. And what a story.

This is the 13th book in an exciting series. I was expecting action and a lot of it, but this is Wire’s story so action quota is down but not completely out. I loved this pair. There couldn’t have been a better partner for Wire. They do have an age gap and it shows a bit with Lavender. I loved listening them talk cyber, hacker talk. It was fascinating especially when you realize that they have chemistry.

There is a backstory that goes back long before Lavender was born. It was easy to understand. Both Lavender and Wire have a past that was entwined together and has bought both of them together for better or for worse.

Their chemistry and relationship–when you put that together with the other brothers and their old ladies, yeah, it seems like a story in itself. It made me smile, laugh, cry and everything in between. However, I should add: there are scenes of violence.

This is a fun, fiery, sexy, bloody and a story that will give you a whole range of emotions.

Ok read

The book was ok but because it was more a cyber type crime the action felt lacking and a bit dull. Even the resolution after her kidnapping felt a bit flat. We also didn’t get to know how Cataclysm link up with Marvin to ruin Wire. What was Marvin motivation and who designed the malware? A good show down with Malvin was missing. The scene at the compound with the naked women was stupid. However domesticated the brothers are these days, this is still supposed to be a biker club. Lavender rushing in and shouting was childish and surely against club protocol. You argue with your man at home behind closed doors. It’s also an insecure behavior, if you are secure in your relationship, you shouldn’t care that he is drinking with friends providing that he is not interacting with the women. It’s like going to a strip club and bikers are supposed to lead a non conventional lifestyle.

Damn... Honestly, I didn't imagine that Wire would be like this.. He was...Dreamy. Hot. And that possessive and protective streak like all the others, that makes melts my panties off me. Damn, this guy was totally hot. And even kinda sweet.
I liked Lavender a lot. She was fun, sweet, sexy, smart..
And I have a bit of a crush on Outlaw now. Damn, I'm a slut for these bikers, seriously. They're hot as fuck. And so freaking lovable.

What wasn't there to love about this book! After all the help he's been to the Reapers over the years we get to see Wire meet his match. Someone from his past is out to undo all that Wire's done. The chemistry between Wire and Lavender is off the charts and I liked that this was more of an intrigue cyber crime then the normal bad guys we see it fit in perfectly with Wire as a person.

Cat’s Stats
MMC/FMC- Wire and Lavender
Genre- MC Romance

Series? Y
Safety? YMMV

What I liked about the story- Gotta love the Instalove. They had a lot in common besides hormones, and I could see their relationship lasting. The story was fast paced and kept me interested.
What I didn’t like- the epilogue with the Club Ho-Ho-Hos. He didn’t cheat, but it still wasn’t cool.
What I thought about the narration- I thought the narration was great. Umi does a great job with the voices, and is clear and easy to understand.

Lavender is in trouble because a sensitive project they were working on was discovered. If she were ever in trouble, her mother told her to go to Voodoo Tracer (Wire) for help. He's her mother's former boyfriend who she betrayed, but he's willing to help Lavender. He can't believe what's in front of him because he's never found a woman to love. It's a sweet story with a good mystery, but I wasn't pleased with the ending. Having a club party with naked club girls all around, made it feel cheap. The fact that Wire was actively participating was a disappointment.
Umi Markkanen's narration was extremely well done. Her dynamic, clear voice gave each character a unique personality and attitude.

Lavender's parents were killed and now the culprit is after her. She was told by her mother if anything happened to them to find Voodoo Tracer aka Wire. Lavender has always had a thing for the biker/ hacker. When Wire meets the young lady he knew he was doomed because she checked all of his boxes when it came to his ideal woman. Will he and his buddies be able to keep her safe for them to have a happily ever after?

Trouble comes knocking for Wire and the Reapers. Wire's actions mean a blast from the past appears at the compound. As they call in help from the other clubs tech guys the full picture is highly scary and dangerous. Bravery stands out in this book. A desire to support each other too. Definitely give this a go.

Lavender and Wire have known each other before. When Lavender's parents are killed, she naturally turns to someone who can help her. Their love story is interesting and I rather enjoyed it. I look forward to more in this series.

The epilogue ruined this book for me. It also tarnished my feelings for the hero’s from the previous books. The MC has a party that the club whores are at but the old ladies are not allowed.....WTF??? None of the hero’s were doing anything bad except Wire had left Lavander alone waiting for him while he was hanging out with naked women.. I lost so much respect for these men. I just wish that I wouldn’t have read that. The author just ruIned my opinion of all those previous hero’s What good Hero would party with the naked women and not allow their wives there? It took this book from a 4 star to a 2 If you want to read this book and still respect all the men, then don’t read the epilogue Yuck

WOW!!
This is Wire and Lavender's story and Oh what a story it is.😄 We get to see a side of Wire that set my panties on fire. Wire is, for the lack of a better word, the Dixie Reaper's Geek Squad but he's also so much more. He rules the cyberspace but he is also a killing machine when it comes to his MC family and women or children in need. I was shocked when it comes out about all the women he's helped. He has alot of secrets. When Lavender shows up at the gates of the Dixie Reaper's MC compound she's looking for the one man her mother told her to find in case of trouble. Wire or as she knows him Voodoo Tracer. Lavender is also a member of the Geek Squad, both of her parents were and so is she but she's made quite the name for herself. Her cyber name is Dark Labyrinth and Wire is kinda shocked. Lavender may be a Geek but she's a Beautiful woman with curves in all the right places and Wire definitely likes what he sees. Lavender's mother Krista was an ex of Wire's who played him like a fiddle and after they're suspicious death Lavender starts working her magic trying to find something that could give her answers and she does and it takes her straight to Wire. Wire never thought he'd ever find a woman he'd want to spend his life with but Lavender is everything he could want and more. Their chemistry is off the charts smokin hot! I mean REALLY HOT!😄 Lavender is also hiding a little secret of her own. The excitement and the suspense had me flipping pages non-stop. I couldn't read fast enough. When Outlaw gets hurt my heart was breaking for him and for Lavender.I'd love to see Wire and Lavender name their first son after him for what he's done. This book is both heartbreaking and heartwarming I'm always left wanting more. I can't wait to find out what's gonna happen next. I highly recommend this series to everyone.

Lavender needs help and there is only one person she wants it from. But can Wire move beyond the past to see the future?
Wire is thirteenth in Harley Wylde’s Dixie Reapers MC series. I really enjoyed Wire. He isn’t quite what you expect from an admitted if somewhat closeted nerd…especially a badass biker. I love how revved he gets Lavender and he isn’t even trying. I love that Lavender revs him up just as much in spite of her age and her parents. Wire doesn’t like the past Lavender brings to the forefront but he still does the right thing…protects her. I loved seeing Lavender’s sassiness bring Wire back to life. Even though he never realized he was just existing and not necessarily living before Lavender crashed into his world. I loved the decisive alpha buried under the geek. And once he decided Lavender was his, I enjoyed seeing Wire claim her with a quickness. Ms. Wylde showed us what made Wire fit in with the bikers. When he decided she was his he took no prisoners as he moved to protect not only Lavender but those who needed it. I loved seeing Wire’s brains and brawn. Even as danger stalked them, the chemistry between Wire and Lavender burned bright.
I thoroughly enjoyed this quick read from Ms. Wylde. It is full of unexpected twists and turns. I enjoyed seeing how Ms. Wylde worked her relationship magic. You would have thought there was too much stacked against Wire and Lavender but Ms. Wylde made it work and believable as well. Lavender and Wire fought to have a future and I loved seeing them mesh. I enjoyed returning to this world Ms. Wylde has created and look forward to where Ms. Wylde will take us in the future.

Wire is book thirteen in the Dixie reapers MC series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. I have wanted to read Wires story for a good while. He has intrigued me in all of the other books in this series. I was a little hesitant when I read the blurb for this book. When the blurb said that the heroine would be connect with her late mothers ex boyfriend I was wary. That being said, it was soon confirmed that while the hero dated the heroine’s mother, he didn’t so much as kiss her. I was happy about that. Lavender is a hacker. Her parents were also hackers that were recently murdered. Lavenders mother told her to go to a man she knew from years earlier if anything happened to them. When they are murdered, she tracks the man down to being wire, a member of an MC. Wire is shocked when the couple/ex friends he hates daughter turns up looking for help. He cannot help but be attracted to Lavender but can he stay away whilst helping her?
The chemistry between Lavender and Wire/Lavern was clear to see and I liked the build up to them getting together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue to this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Wire finally gets his story! Hooray! Our computer wizard finally meets his match in the form of someone from his past. Well, sort of. You see Lavender (heroine) is the daughter of his ex-girlfriend (using the word loosely) and her boyfriend. Lavender's parents end up dead and the adventure begins that will lead Lavender to our tech guru. At first, Wire's not happy about her appearance because he truly hates her mother. Yet, in typical Dixie Reaper fashion---he saves the "damsel in distress". What would you expect from them?

The "King and Queen" of the Cyber world, Wire and Lavender are attracted to each other, while trying to keep her alive from an enemy from Wire's past. It's amazing that we get more insights into the other tech gurus from the other clubs to help "solve" this problem while saving Lavender. As always, they go through their ups and downs because Wire's not used to having a woman around. Lavender is a bit infatuated from the very beginning and has to deal with one of the sweetbutts from the club, but handles the situation like a pro.

This is a wonderful addition to the Dixie Reapers MC. By the way, I want Outlaw's story. He was awesome in this book!!

Lavender was in trouble and needed help. Her mom always told her to seek out Wire. When she finds him, he is shocked and turned on. She is the daughter of an old flame that did him wrong. He has moved on but seeing those eyes and that body has him wanting more. She also has a talent. She is a hacker like him, perhaps even his equal or better.

I am sooooo glad we finally get to read about Wire. All these times of him watching all the other club members finding their forever. He may say he doesn’t need anyone but we all knew he needed some that was as good as he was in hacking. He also gives the other hackers from the other clubs hope. YEAH! I look forward to reading about when they fall. Lavender is one tough cookie. She plays him like a fiddle and he just follows right behind. These two are as hot for each other as all the Dixie Reapers are. I love it. We do call in the calvary with the other MCs and their hackers. At times I was heart sick for what happened. I do love that the ladies are as tough as the guys. I can’t wait to read the next in the series.

This was not only hilarious in so many parts but it was hot hot hot too! Two computer geeks that find love in a motorcycle club. Lavender comes from two of the world's greatest hackers and her skills aren't too shabby. However, when danger rears its head at her she finds the one hacker that she can trust to help her, he's the bad ass tech guy for a biker club called The Dixie Reapers. Wire is one bad mofo when it comes to hacking and all things tech and he's savage when it comes to his fighting skills for his club. He's utterly powerless when it comes to Lavender and her purple hair and 80s t-shirts and Chucks. He knows she's in danger, real extreme danger and she's too young for him but she has gotten under his skin and there's no code to undo that.

This Dixie Reapers book will have you laughing, sniffling a little, definitely taking a cold shower but falling in love with Lavender and Wire.

Well, compared to other books within the series, this one was the least dark one. I mean there was still violence and some triggering issues entailed on the plot, but on the overall surface, it was still okay. I liked how both characters came into terms with their feelings rather quickly, though I was expecting a bit "show off" on Lavender and Wire's skill on hacking, or tech-savvy since they refused to be called as hackers. Anywhooo, the books was still a delight and one that I was not disappointed to wait after some time waiting :)

Love Wire!!

First I couldn't wait for "Wire's" story, I mean he's been so important to everyone in the club. Hell, ALL the club's in some way. I think that's why I was slightly disappointed, the club ( SPOILER) should have shown more for him. I was really expecting more. Except for that I liked the twist of Wire's Old Lady she was definitely a new one and seeing how BadA$$ Wire gets was really cool !!
