Visiting Billy: The Regulators
A time travel western adventure
Book 1 – Visiting Billy
There was a period of time after Billy the Kid’s last escape from jail when little is known of his whereabouts. It was in this period four people go back in time and convince Billy to enlist the help of his gang to help the four time travelers put the Chicago Cleaver Gang out of business.The eight riders headed west on 59th street. It was sometime in April and spring had arrived . Leaves were just starting to bud, flowers bloomed and the laughterof children was in the air. At least until the riders were spotted, then all play stopped. The eight riders in their western garb wearing guns with rifles sticking out of scabbards and three pack horses following was quite a sight. They rode abreast taking up the entire street forcing carriages and other riders to the side.Gene didn’t care for the way they hogged the street but figured it was necessary to make the proper impression. Billy and his pards seemed to enjoy it. The fifth street they came to was Halsted so they turned north. At this point in Chicago’s history the city blocks weren’t filled yet, only two, three or four houseswere on a street with grass and weeds growing in the empty lots between them.Gene smiled to himself, all the times he’d been to Chicago he never once imaginedriding up Halsted on a horse wearing a six gun! He realized he was really enjoying this.
Book 2 - The Regulators
The Regulators make numerous trips back to the wild west helping people in need.The handsome clean shaven man sat at the table by himself sipping a whiskey as hiseyes traversed the dim smoky room. The bartender was speaking to a customer whileshining a glass with a dirty rag. Two cowpokes standing at the end of the bar had toomuch to drink and were getting loud. His eyes then swung to the other side of the room.a soiled dove was sitting on a dirty, ragged looking cowpuncher’s lap trying to enticehim upstairs. The man’s eyes then went to three strangely dressed men and a young woman. He couldn’t decide if they were easterners or foreigners on holiday. The woman was dressed as a man with a two gun rig on her hips. Her long blond hair tiedin a ponytail. Even dressed as she was she was exceedingly attractive. He’d neverbefore seen a woman wearing one gun much less two. The revolvers her and her friends wore were unlike anything he’d seen. He figured the guns were all show and the people wearing them the clean clothes and polished boots lacked the skills to use them.

AMAZING STORY
This is an amazing story, I just love the idea of 4 people from the future going to the past to help people.
I was wanting to read more about Cory, (from the wagon)

Good. But
The stories were good the characters well orchestrated. But a bit to sci-fi for me. I like his books about the old west better. But then I never like reading sci-fi a d wasn't expecting it.

Enjoyed this book but the proof reading could have been better. Their adventures were interesting to read. The details were accurate.
