Magnus and Kaitlyn are in two different places, two different times.
But she remembers their last conversation - "Where do you know I love you?"
"On the air around me, mo reul-iuil. On every breeze is your sigh, under every sky. Tis always the same stars, ye ken. As long as ye are under them then I can hear ye, I love ye, ye say. I can always hear it."
"Good."And maybe that will help them in the dangers ahead...
Because there's a son that needs to be protected. A family that has been displaced. A bad guy with a grudge. And a highlander without a home.
If they could just reach each other. ____________________

Phenomenal... Ahhh... I seriously can't get enough of this world and especially my beloved: Magnus and Katie.
I feel each book just keeps on getting better and better and this one had me utterly gripped, in its clutches as all that was happening was so freaking maddening and intense and intriguing that I just couldn't put this book down even for a minute.
I have to say our author has aptly named this book - Under the Same sky because it actually gives you a hint and the way it all unfolds was so freaking fascinating.
From past to future to future to past and out-maneuvering your enemies to hiding from them, dangers left and right and getting lost and helping to find - from being on the ship in the past, finding a new friend to finding a way to find the man you love when you don't even know what timeline or rather time period he is in.
AHH... Like I said there's so much happening in this one and it's truly jam-packed with action, adventure, intrigue and a love that always finds each other and hearts that are bound beyond time constraints.
I can't tell you HOW FREAKING EXCITING & ABSOLUTELY HAPPY I'm, knowing there are 22 books in this series. So I get to binge them all back to back.... Ahhh... Seriously leave everything and dive into this mystical time travel ride. Absolutely unputdownable and so worth the ride. Loved freaking loved loved this one.
Reading this book is like riding a roller coaster - there's ups and downs, highs and lows and then right when you least expect it there's a big giant twists that turns you upside down. After 6 previous books the reader is used to some of this but I think the danger in this book was harder to read - it was so much more dangerous. Kaitlyn and Magnus spend a lot of this book apart - each facing their own perilous situations. Time and again, their thoughts of the other is what gets them through the danger. The reader is left clinging to the hope that they can make it through and eventually have their Happily Ever After - unfortuately it isn't in this book. It leaves the reader left with a handful of tissues and a wait for Book 8>
This is a fantastic series of books. When I picked it up I figured it would be a silly shallow romance, possibly with time travel involved. Instead I got a timeless swirl of family, no matter what year, what century, what decade. The grammar is pretty much impeccable, I think the historical facts are accurate, but remember, this is an alternative history (sorta). The characters in these books are well fleshed, people we know, family we love. It would behoove any Outlander fan to dive in with book 1. By the way, these books need to be read in order. Ms Knightly, you are my new favorite author.
I’ll say it again; I love this book series. Book 7 had many great plots and settings. We are taken into many different centuries, and many problems that needed solving. I enjoyed the different challenges that Kaitlyn and Magnus had to endure, and it kept me wanting to read more and more.
What really puts me off about a book is if it has too many pages. So therefore, what I really love about Diana’s books, is that she manages to create a good story in such few words, not beating around the bush to get her points across.
Loved this episode to the series! But you have to start at book 1. I discovered this series during “ Droughtlander” and it’s a perfect match! Very lovable characters, a gorgeous, hunky hero with a heart of purest gold, a ditsy “terrible arse” heroine who gets it done, lots of enemies you love to hate and a loyal “Friends” support group! I especially love the grandmother and her quotable wisdom!
Having just finished Book 7 I will concede that the characters are now more fully developed and not so shallow and one dimensional. Magnus always had depth but Kaitlyn was flighty and flakey through the first few books as were her American friends. But I must say I’m enjoying the time travel to the 2300’s and back to the 1500’s, even with evil characters Lady Mairede and Reyes. Look forward to Book 8!
An awesome time travel series to follow. This latest installment doesn't disappoint. The characters are realistic with all the virtues and faults that make us human. You feel their anger, frustration, fear and joy like your own. I read it in one sitting, because I couldn't make myself put it down. Each installment leaves you hungry for the next. Highly recommend.
The romance in this book is very much real. So many moments of either Kaitlyn or Magnus declaring their love to each other in both their words and actions. A few things were cleared up in this book but there are some missing pieces that need to be taken care of if Kaitlyn and Magnus will ever have a safe place to call home in the same year.
This series has me spellbound. Addicted.. I want to go to the places they jumped to (in a plane). The whole series is incredible, Mangus is a hopeless romantic, warrior, husband and father. Diana Knightley has the most innovative, incredible imagination.
The more of the adventures I read of Magnus and Kaitlyn the more I'm drawn in. This one made me laugh, cry and catch my breath. It covered a lot of territory in several centuries. The love interspersed with humor of Magnus and Kaitlyn makes the story a good read.
This story, although it's travels are widespread, consumes the want for the characters to find a resolve against evil. One gets sucked into the story itself and its hard to close the book for the night. My mom became intrigued as soon as I introduced her to the first book!
As usual, a well constructed story. It has numerous loose ends tied into a pretty little bow. Diana Knightly involves her readers on very basic level via her Facebook group which causes a very personal interest for us. I highly recommend this book and series.
Another great book by Knightly. Aha continues the saga and intensity grows for the end. On to book 8! Let’s find out about Archie and a baby for the Mags and Kaitlyn.
I love all the characters in this series but this so far has been my favorite book. It is fast passed and shows lots of character development and like that there was a but more research in to periods they were traveling into.
I am really enjoying the whole series it has been so much fun to read very colorfully details made me laugh and made cry I really can't wait for the next one to come out.
This one deals with rescuing each other and going to Greece meeting new people and killing the general. Just a good book and great characters .Recommend with a 5 Star review
To save a friend or his beloved wife. Magnus remembers that no matter where he and his wife are its the same sky. Sometimes he must kill a foe but it’s still the same sky.
Don’t know why I put off reading the series. She is a fantastic writer with a wonderful command of the mechanics, the emotions and the language. The amount of research she must’ve done is beyond amazing. I hated to leave this world.
I started only going to read book 1 but here I am getting ready for book 8. The characters are developing as is the frequency of which the results of altering the past changes the future. Looking forward to see how much this continues.
Seven books I have read. I can’t stop reading this series. Full of so much emotion-love, laughter, adventure, excitement, happiness, sadness. I have been taken into Kaitlyn and Magness story and I am totally hooked.
