Another wonderful space story
With this fourth book Doug leaves Earth and the Charma behind, giving a slightly different colonization story from a slightly different perspective. His standard sense of balanced timing that invokes drama without too much lingering suspense shines through yet again. Good news with moments of suspense and bad news flow smoothly through the story. Since I know the author personally (and proud of it), I can see him and our co-workers vividly in the story. I honestly cannot get enough of these books.
