Traitors. Thieves. Liars. Lovers.
We had been all of these.

I have stolen hearts that weren’t mine to take. Betrayed my country for the sake of another night in my lovers’ bed. Lied to the people I said I loved.

All for the tarnished crown of an empire than can no longer exist.

The first time I saw Blair I forgot what I was meant to be.
The last time I saw Ben, I remembered.

I am the kingmaker.
The fixer.
The healer.

I am the one who can end this.

First off, I really like the covers in this trilogy. Anyways, my favorite thing about these books were the connections between Blair, Ben, and Isaac. They all came from such different places and the two boys had a lot to hide, but they were all vulnerable. The connections are undeniable, the love scenes are hot, and the drama and action draw you in.

I like how it ended, I was totally shocked as to some of the big reveals in this story. I'd totally read more like this from this author, who was new to me before this. I loved it, and will probably read the whole series more than once.

I knew the final part of this trilogy would be lovely, romantic, filled with hot sexy times, a little intrigue, and a couple of pretty big surprises.
Everything we thought we knew about Ben, Issac, Goldsmith Sr, Goldsmith Jr, and even Elise isn’t quite what we thought. And when information about Blair’s security and schedule are being leaked to the bad guys, everyone close to Blair is put under scrutiny. No one anticipates who the insider is. And they’re even more surprised at who the traitors alliance is with.
I will tell you, Blair, Issac, and Ben get their HEA. And it is well-deserved.
I loved this book, and this series. I just wish there was more! I want to know more about Blair, Ben, and Issac’s HEA!!!

The Tarnished Crown Trilogy ended magnificently with Emeralds . Told mostly in Isaac’s POV, the story picked up right where we left off from the last installment. I liked that the pace of the story picked up and the story progressed readily as the loose ends were tied up. The curve balls kept me guessing who was trustworthy. Through all the twists and unexpected, traitors were revealed and questions were answered. The bond between Blair, Isaac and Ben strengthened as they maneuvered through the obstacles and traps that were lay in front of them. I’m happy that they found the perfect medium to cultivate their relationship against all the odds. Overall, I truly enjoyed this action packed, suspenseful and intriguing trilogy and would recommend it.

Note: Emeralds is the last book in the Tarnished Crowns Trilogy and must be read after Chandelier and Grenade .

I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Book three in the Tarnished Crowns Trilogy was an amazing conclusion to a great story. Annie keeps you guessing on who the good and who the bad are throughout most of the book, There’s more great love scenes between the three and there’s so much depth to the all the characters in the book, you often feel you are in the room with them during conversations. Just about every question is answered and you don’t feel like you were cheated with anything. All of the storylines and characters you were given throughout the books all come to some sort of ending. This is definitely a trilogy I will read again and again. It’s action packed, steamy, full of intrigue all wrapped up in three great books.

I received an ARC in return for my honest review

I loved this book! This is the last book in the Tarnished Crown trilogy. We finally get to hear from Isaac's POV!! There were so many unexpected twists and turns. I was not expecting that ending! I loved learning more about Isaac. I also liked how he and Blair got closer in this book. Before I almost felt like he was left out, but now he feels like an integral part of the love story. Fantastic ending to the trilogy!

Great conclusion to this explosive trilogy by Annie Dyer! It's rare that I love the last book of a trilogy as much as I did the first. However, in this case, the story got better with each consecutive book. Emeralds is told mostly from Isaac's POV and I loved finally getting into his head. This story was beautifully messy in the best possible way. The heat and love between our threesome is something to behold! There are so many twists, turns and OMG moments that will keep you at the edge of your seat. Go in blind and enjoy the ride!

What a great way to end the series. Emeralds was everything I wanted and needed. What an interesting historical modification. What an beautiful love story about an unconventional relationship. We got to know Blair, Ben and Isaac more and more with each book. I loved that we got each of their POV's. I'm sad that the series is finished. So well done!

For the love of all things sexy…. This book blew me away. What a fantastic end to a phenomenal trilogy. I can’t say enough how much I love this series. It invokes so much emotion and you really become invested in the characters and the plot. I really think that it is better than Game of Thrones. As the thrilogy concludes, it continues to become more suspenseful; the emotions are stronger, deeper and more complex; and the sex gets hotter. The events twist and turn leaving you breathless and sad to see the story end.
The lies and deceit threaten to rip apart the kingdom and each of the main characters, Ben, Blair, and Isaac must choose between love or country. It was so difficult to write this review without including spoilers of any kind. Emeralds should get at least a 10-star rating out of 5. I was very sorry to see it end. I wish there was at least one more book so I can check in and find out what is next in store for the three of them.

The conclusion to the Tarnished Crowns trilogy has arrived in the form of Emeralds. I was anticipating this story and it was just as magnificent as I was expecting. This story was told from Isaac’s point of view, filled with intrigue and angst, and has Blair, Ben and Isaac all questioning who they could trust among those that should be the closest to them. You definitely need to read the first two books in the trilogy to make sense of all of the players; but I promise, your invested time will be well worth it. There is finally an HEA, but not without a lot of suspense and surprise on who has been sharing Blair’s secrets and their reason why. Five stars from me!

Emeralds is the final installment in the Tarnished Crown Trilogy and is told from Isaac's POV. So many things happen in this book! I'm not even sure how to write this without revealing any spoilers. I will say that traitors are revealed, questions are answered and our main characters get their story wrapped up in a perfect way. Annie knows how to write so that I feel all of their emotions, I felt Blair's hurt and the guilt and worry from Ben and Isaac. I felt their happiness at finding each other. Also, one of the things I loved throughout the series, is how she describes Scotland. You feel like you are there, you know exactly how the sky looks, how the loch looks, what the maze feels like when you are going through it and how the air feels each time they are outside. It makes you feel like you are there and pulls you into the books even more. I've been with Annie since the beginning and somehow she has managed to squeeze this trilogy into the top spot over the Callaghan Green series! This is a must read!

Well, alrighty then.

This author just gave me the conclusion I was expecting and then some. This whole trilogy has been a cat and mouse game in which I had no idea who was good and who was bad. The blurbs of these stories didn't help either because they just added to the suspense and drama as this saga was unfolding.

Fantastic characters, mystery, strong connections, backstory, different points of view that all added a certain element to the story and steam galore all made this entire series one that I will read again. All of my questions were answered. It was a surprise at who was behind all of these sinister motives, and incidentally, not at all the person that I thought it would be.

Bravo to this author for taking me on an epic journey, of betrayal, political intrigue, and ultimately a reminder that love comes in a plethora of ways.

Prepare yourself for the unexpected. Ok so to begin with this is mostly told from Isaac’s POV. There are layers upon layers in this story. Twists, turns, and what the heck is going on moments. If you were expecting a tidy little wrap up this is not this book. This is the ultimate, expect the unexpected. While I was reading all these quotes from MacBeth were running through my mind, because they were so relatable. One quote that hit me hard from MacBeth ,”When shall we three meet again in thunder, lightning or in rain?” There was so much going on and not knowing who to trust but the love, oh the love the these three held for each other. It just tugged at every heartstring I had. And the other two MacBeth quotes are, “Fair is foul and foul is fair” meaning appearances can be deceiving and many times what we think is bad we ourselves end up doing thinking it’s for good, and “Something wicked this way comes”. If you read this trilogy you will see how all this fits. It’s as true today as it was when it was written. Politics make strange bedfellows and in British politics it seems the same as in American politics. Anyway, since I can’t divulge the story I’m just giving you how it affected me.
So as I said previously, expect the unexpected. You never really know who to trust. Sometimes those you trust the most, can hurt you the worst. This is a trilogy I will definitely be re-reading. It’s captivating. It held me hostage the whole time I couldn’t put it down!

This book is hard to sum up and I still don’t really know how to review it. It’s not what I expected at all but that is no bad thing.

Blair and Isaac spend a lot more time with each other in this book and I like that because it allows their bond to solidify and get even stronger. They needed that time with each other even though the reason they had that time with each other was for a reason neither of them liked

Ben. Oh my Ben. I fell more in love with him. He’s made sacrifices that none of us could even imagine. He’s one of those wounded heroes you just want to hug, protect and to be able to stop their pain. I’m so grateful for the chance to be able to read this book. The ending was worth it.

Secrets finally come to light. Traitors are exposed. People will be hurt and you will be surprised by some of the revelations. Blair, Ben and Isaac couldn’t have ended more perfectly in my mind. Once the secrets are revealed, traitors are exposed and they are finally able to settle down will their feelings still be there? Can Blair, Ben and Isaac be everything to each other once the stress is relieved? Emeralds is the final book in the Tarnished Crown Trilogy and I can’t believe it’s over. This trilogy has all the feelings and was just plain amazing.

This book is the final one in the trilogy. It is intense, full of action and even angst to some extent. At some point I stopped reading and took a break by listening to another book because I was on edge. I loved these characters, Ben, Blair and Isaac are so wonderful together that it made me feel Blair’s pain at some point. I definitely loved this book and even wish it wasn’t just a trilogy, but a longer series, as I want to know more about this throuple.

The final book in the Tarnished Crowns series is amazing!!

Told mostly from Isaac's point of view, the pieces of the puzzle finally come together and all of the questions are answered. Blair, Ben and Issac must decide who to trust and where their loyalties lie. There is plenty of excitement, a lot of steam and a wonderfully satisfying ending.

This series kept my heart racing (and sometimes breaking!). Loved it!!

Emeralds is the final book in the Tarnished Crowns trilogy and as with any series, the books must be read in order. The first book is titled Chandelier and the second Grenade.

Emeralds is written giving us Isaac’s POV, although other characters do add their voices at appropriate times. I was hoping that Emeralds would answer the questions that the first two books left me pondering with, and it certainly did.

The first part of this book continues adding to the story very much like Grenade did and setting up the story for its climax. The final third had me feeling everything I felt in the first - excitement and anticipation…. which I loved. It was nice getting to know more about Isaac and learning his thoughts and feelings. I’ve really enjoyed how the author has had me questioning the roles and motives of individuals throughout the trilogy and I do love it when I am proven to be wrong.

Overall, I have enjoyed this book and indeed the trilogy. I’ve been intrigued throughout and I always hoped that Blair, Ben and Isaac could be everything that they wanted to be to each other.

Issac -"He watches me go. I leave part of my heart there"

This is the last book in the Tarnished Crowns Trilogy.

Wow! I have no words! This book and Trilogy will leave you speechless! It ties up everything! The steamy level is of the charts!!!

This time Emeralds is told from Isaac's point of view, The Kingmaker. You find out everything you ever wanted to know about him.

This book is unputdownable! You want to finish it to find out what happens but you also want to savour ever last page so it never ends!

There's tears, heartbreak and loss along the way.

I'm finding it really hard to leave a review as I don't want to give anything away so I'm sorry if I am being very vague

Annie has blown me away with this Trilogy, it's an amazing end to the Trilogy and a must read for everyone.

Emeralds
Tarnished Crowns Trilogy Book 3
Annie Dyer
The final instalment in the Tarnished Crowns Trilogy, I don’t think I’m ready for it to end.
“Nothing prepares you for the moment your heart shatters.”
Told mostly from Isaac’s point of view, the intrigue continues. The secrets, the lies and the twist are deep.
“... but in their eyes I was just a soldier, common cannon fodder.
Not a sniper. Not a spy. Someone who was just paid muscle.”
This story is raw and explicit, the characters are the sirens in a storm. They are so complex and well written. Annie is a master storyteller who writes people that you wish you knew. Don’t read this if you are easily offended. You need to have read the two previous books in this trilogy “Chandelier” and “Grenade” before this one as this is the stunning conclusion to the story of Blair, Ben and Isaac.
I received an arc of this book.

Emeralds by Annie Dyer is book three in her Tarnished Crowns Trilogy. Emeralds is not a stand alone. The previous books are Chandelier and Grenade.
Emeralds is the fitting conclusion to Blair, Ben and Isaac's unique story.
A fast paced read, high on drama with unexpected twists and turns that kept me in suspense from start til the last page.

The end has come. After all the twists and turns, backstabbing and lies, we finally have our answers, and our happily ever after.

"Her words hang in the air. Wishes with wings."

Isaac, Ben and Blaire finally figure out how to navigate the political world, while saving their butts, solving some mysteries, ending a couple 2 or 3 lives and having lots and lots of steamy breaks.

"It doesnt matter as I'm wrapped in the two people I need most."

The conclusion we all needed.

"We carry its weight together, share its burden. Dont allow its power to be over us. Because we are no longer the traitors and the liars and the theives."

Emeralds by Annie Dyer is book 3 in the Tarnished Crowns Trilogy. It's the final book and what a way to end the trilogy. This story was told from Isaac’s POV; this story is full of action, drama, angst, intrigue, suspense...twists and turns and the OMG moments, along with the passion, heat and sizzling chemistry between Blair, Ben and Isaac. This final book did the threesome right and ended on their journey together wrapped just right. You will want to read all 3 books in this Trilogy, especially this final book to enjoy the glittering HEA.

Absolutely fantastic conclusion to this trilogy.
Blair, Ben and Issac are incredibly likeable characters , Ben in particular with the choices he has to make him incredibly loveable. I enjoyed that this MMF book had a great story line, with characters that you loved , an HEA that you were desperate for and although at times hot and steamy , not just full of sex like some MMF books. The intrigue, lies and plot keep you turning the pages . Loved Loved

FUDGING HELL, Annie Dyer! Wow! What did I just read?!

Intrigue, romance, surprises, and OH MY GOSH that steeeeeam!! Annie Dyer has absolutely slayed this trilogy and knocked it out of the park with Emeralds! Things we thought we knew get turned upside down and the twists keep coming and are spectacular! Gah, the writing continues to be hypnotic, entrhralling, and unputdownable. The romance is epic and the story is superb. Like, damn girl! Blair, Issac, and Ben get the HEA they’ve fought for and deserve and I was here for it!

I loved everything about Emeralds and The Tarnished Crowns trilogy. FREAKING STELLAR!! This is 10000% must read romance. And I’m going to put it out there once again for the universe to hear: WE NEED THIS ON AUDIO! A bajillion stars.

The finale of the Tarnished Crown trilogy is told from the perspective of Isaac who shares his background and his rise in the political world.

All of the strings begin to pull together and close the net on the who and why Blair is being targeted. BUT, most importantly with Ben being seen walking off into the woods, Isaac has to pick up the pieces of Blair's heart and this opportunity for them to bond is steamy and sweet.
