I loved these characters and the goodness in their hearts. I’m not one to seek out a Christian series but I wasn’t beat over the head with it. I am a firm believer in the golden rule even if I am an atheist. I have worked with the homeless in my town so that hit home for me. Sammy was a delight to get to know. The entire series was super cute and each story is pretty short.
Anyone wanting clean quick reads with characters who feel like family and friends will enjoy this.
Narration by Joanna Roddy was spectacular. She does amazing voices.

I really liked how well the characters were defined. I listened to the audiobook and found the narrator did a nice job. She differentiated the characters' voices without making them sound fake.
The audio was slightly over-modulated at times, but not so much so that it interfered with my enjoyment of this listen.
Also, learned about a new cake for New Year's Eve! But don't want to give too much away!

My favorite by far in this series! A quick cozy mystery read with fun characters. So happy I found this series.

Who killed Lydia Wainwright and why??? AND Sammy was a little tied up, wasn't she??? I enjoyed this story and recommendeed the book.
