Timor
So much has changed in the last year or so, I discover a son I didn’t know about before and lost the son I had thought would take my place when I was finished with my work.
I’ve spent my entire life serving the Bratva and now, I want to retire.
But I don’t want to miss any more of my son’s lives.
I’ve already missed too much.
They won’t come to me, so I will have to go to them but if they can start over in a new country so can I.
Then I meet her, Daisy.
I’ve never met anyone like her before.
I’m not ever sure I like this woman but I can’t stay away from her.
Then someone from my very distant past comes round to take from me what he thinks I took from him, my woman.
I’ll be damned if I let him take my Daisy, come hell or high water he won’t take her not in that way.
I’ll kill him first, maybe something I should have done a long time ago…

Daisy
I had lived, loved and lost and learned to do without in my lifetime but the moment I met Timor, I found something extraordinary, something a woman is lucky to find only once in her lifetime.
I’ve never been a shrinking violet kind of woman, if I wanted something I reached out and took it, well I wanted Timor.
Then danger came to call and Timor got in his head that he needed to protect me.
Hogwash, I could take care of myself, I just had to show him I guess…

I live in a small town in Wisconsin. From my deck, I can see the Mississippi River on one side and the bluffs, where eagles live and nest on the other side. I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.

I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.

Timor has mad alot of mistakes and being in house all alone has made him realize that. With a chance to make things right he goes to New Orleans to make things right with sons Roman and Iosif and their women Stevie and Jada. While he is out one he sees a mark of a man named Anton that betrayed the Barvta 30 years ago and than he meets the end of shotgun and a sassy woman named Daisy. When he finds out what this man has done to her and land he sets out to make it right. When he makes the call to Sergi things start to heat up at the farm. When they all arrive at the farm they can't believe the change in Timor, but they set out to find this man and bring him back to Russia to finish his sentence. What will happen when they find out there are two of them? Will they be able to stop what they are doing? Will Daisy be able to let Timor be her man? Will they find what they both want? This book has all elements. Funny, Action, danger, emotional, steamy, and a second chance to a family. I can't wait to read more from this author and these men.

Timor is a force to be reckoned with. Set in the old ways, he goes to America to demand that his soon return with him and take up his place. Roman is his own man and refuses setting off a diatribe that would turn is sons against him. Seeing the error of his ways, Timor asks his sons for forgiveness and finds the one woman who can put him in his place not to mention the one man he had been hunting for going on thirty years. This story draws you in from the first page and the drama and action keeps you there until the very last page.

Wonderful story!! Timor Maxim has an abrsive, demanding attitude and expects everything to do as he dictates. As a Bratva leader he is accepted almost anywhere. He's on a visit with his son's and grandchildren. He has decided has has to change of end up looking his sons. There's mystery, suspense and romance are great. Ms. Dahlen makes her characters realistic and the storyline keeps you guessing what's next.

And they say a leopard can't change it's spots! Not true. .Timor is a cranky man! He was raised by a very strict father and then became Bratva so he was very strict and pushy! Even his son's didn't want him around! Then his nephew told him go to America and ask for a second chance! He did...but could this cat change his spots? Ask the woman he met! The one who held a shotgun on him! I so love these Bratva men!!

KJ has done it again, Timor was a awesome book. I love how she combines other series into her books. Timor wanted to be with his sons and since they didn't want to live in Russia, he was going move the the US. When he went looking for a place to call home he helps save a woman that he is instantly attracted to. She is full of piss and vinegar and takes no crap from anyone. She made me laugh so hard at the way she brought Timor down a peg or two, or was it more like 4 or 5. I love how the story plays out and even an old set in his way, I'm man you woman, can find love. A must read book and series. You will fall in love with every book you read from KJ Dahlen.

Timor and Daisy were soul mates for sure. If there were ever two people deserving and in need of each other it was them. KJ has done it again. I love all her books...they are exciting, sexy, dangerous, fast paced and always have an hea.

I love KJ's book. This is an awesome read and I couldn't put it down. I love the fact that characters from previous books are not forgotten and are entertwined into the new story without losing the storyline of the new book. I wish the story was longer.
