The chapters of this book are concerned with the most basic creed—the Apostles' Creed. Each addresses a particular article within it and what it means to confess it. Far from being pious artifacts, they are gifts to Christians as they seek to always stand firm in the faith and remain united with Christ in his death and resurrection.
An explanation of each article in the Apostles’ creed. Gospel, pure and simple. Some of the contributors include Scott Keith, Adam Francisco, Daniel E Price, Chad Bird, and Steven Paulson. About 90 pages, easy to read in one sitting.
Great summary of Reformational/Biblical Christianity
While short and succinct, it summarizes Christianity using the Apostles’ Creed as its “bullet points.”
I leaves one hopeful and joyous in this fallen world, even knowing there will be times of sadness, but, thanks be to Christ, they are overcome by him and those that belong to him in the faith of His forgiveness purchased for us on the cross.
A very good review of the Apostles creed, that Ancient and Historic confession of the Christian Faith. I highly recommend this book, for believers, seekers & non-believers
