Quarantine and Cuffs

The NYPD trained me to save distressed damsels.
Five minutes alone with Dahlia and I'm the one that's stressed.
She's cute, curvy, and completely maddening.
The only thing she isn't prepared for is how I'm going to make her mine.
Forever.
Looks like we're quarantined together.
Good thing I brought my cuffs.

Sound the Alarm, Readers!
Miles is an alpha cop and a bad boy. Working from home means no cliffhangers-- or uniforms-- allowed in the house! Just a guaranteed HEA and a quick and steamy romance. Keep the handcuffs handy.

If you are looking for a quick escape during the quarantine we are all suffering through with a lighter look at it then this series of books are perfect.

Dahlia is on her way to her fathers cabin for the quarantine when she is having car trouble when she realises that she isn’t alone, when a creepy guy approaches her only to be rescued by Miles an off duty police officer and the man that she ends up having to lock herself away with. Could she have found more than a haven of safety during this unusual time and found her own HEA?

Miles wasn’t expecting to have a visitor during the quarantine but its not long before he wants so much more from the scatty pixie that has moved in and he wants her to stay. Can he show her that this is a once in a lifetime love that they have found.

Great little read and escae from reality. 3.5* read. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book.

This was a quick read
Dahlia is funny, witty and a mess.
She has a system for being prepared. Watch you tube, make spreadsheets and pack a go bag. Seems sensible right? Well don't forget deodorant or a phone charger or even appropriate food cause that will cost you.
So when a virus starts a pandemic she is traveling across the state to stay with her father. OOPS turned around forgot deodorant.
Oh no no charger.
Driving a broken down car is not a good idea either. Turns out maybe all those things brought her closer to her HEA. Being quarantined is just what the doctor ordered.
Miles is just coming off four back to back shifts. He's a cop.
He sees something suspicious and approaches. He just to go home and crawl into bed. Maybe order a pizza before they shut down the roads.
Turns out making that stop changed his life.
With barely any food, true or dare, binoculars to spy on the neighbors and a roof top fire these two have me chuckling all through the story.
Dahlia learned even watching all the how to videos it doesn't mean she can actually do it. She needed her cocky cop.
Miles learned that life alone was dull and boring. He needed his spreadsheet queen.
There is never a dull moment.
Although there were no zombies this time around.

Dahlia is on her way to her father's home to wait out the quarantine lockdown. She is running late and lockdown has already been ordered. The roads are deserted and everything is closed down. Her car craps out along the way and she finally makes it to a gas station. However, no one is around until she gets out of her car and a man approaches her asking for money. Before she can do much, Miles a police officer on his way home, steps in and scares the guy off. Miles advised Dahlia that she must get off the streets and offers to let her stay with him. Can the two find love in lockdown?

This is a collection of six short steamy insta-love stories. These are great short reads. They are sweet and funny. As usual with Regina Wade, the characters are wonderful. Even with these being short stories and insta-love, the characters were well developed and likable.

Dahlia is trying to get to her father's place because he has a bunker to wait out the quarantine in. However her dizzy mind keeps forgetting things which puts her behind schedule and when she finally gets on the road her car breaks down. Miles come across Dahlia just as another person looks like they are going to shake her down. With lockdown in effect and him being a cop he makes her come home with him. Dahlia hopes its just temporary and then she can go on to her father's however it doesn't turn out that way. Will their fling turn into something more after quarantine is over?

This is a quick burn that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Dahlia is a hot mess who is trying to get everything together and get home to her family before quarantine is mandated. Miles is a cop who takes her in when her car happens to die along the way. Can Dahlia and Miles tolerate each other through the whole quarantine or will they end up going crazy being stuck with each other during this time? This whole series has been fun and sexy to read, but this one was especially funny as both characters were ridiculous and the banter between them was great. Hot flaming Cheetos' anyone?

If you have to be stranded with a cop during a quarantine, Miles is the one you want! He and Dahlia are such fun to read. Dahlia is a prepper, but in reality is a hot mess. Everything she knows is in theory not practice. Miles is by no means prepared to be quarantined, let alone with a young woman he literally rescued from the side of the road. But their chemistry is red hot, and soon these two are happy to be stuck with each other. Sweet and sexy, quick and fun. This is a book you definitely want to read!

This is a quick fun sexy read about Dahlia who is packing her stuff to go and stay with her father who is in a bunker unfortunately for Dahlia she is very forgetful and she forgets to put petrol in her car so she breaks down along the way. Miles is a cop who comes to her rescue he hears over the radio that everyone must be in quarantine so he takes Dahlia to his place to pass the time away. This is a chuckle worthy story with sizzling 🔥 chemistry between the characters and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This is book 3 in a quirky, enjoyable, quick read. This is Miles and Dahlia story. Miles is mentioned briefly in book 1 and is Jasmine brother from book 2. Miles is a fly by the seat of his pants. Dahlia is a no nonsense, over prepared, curvy female that gives Miles a hard time. The banter between the two of them great. The characters are complete opposite but manage to find each other and bring out the best in the other one.

The author has given us characters we can understand. A plague has taken over and Dahlia is bugging out. Too bad she forgot to fill the gas tank in her car. As she is speaking with Officer Miles Turner, they receive notification that they have to quarantine at home. He takes her to his apartment and things go a little crazy when they realize they cannot ignore their attraction to each other.

Dahlia is a student in New York and is headed out of town to meet up with her dad before the city goes into lockdown. One problem, she forgot to gas up before she left and now she's stranded on the side of the road alone. Until her cop in shining armor comes to the rescue and they end up quarantined in his apartment. This is a well written, fun, short read filled with humor, steam and a great HEA. After I started reading this I realized this is Miles; Jazz’s brother that’s mention in Quarantine and Cash. It was nice seeing how he spent the month in quarantine. I can say it wasn’t a bad way to spend it. He connects with Dahlia even if at first he’s not too happy about it. But they quickly learn they complement each other and it’s pretty explosive from there.

Can you just say fun, snarky and hot. Quarantine and Cuffs is just what is needed to break the tension we are feeling.

Miles is a cop and Dahlia is stranded just as mandatory quarantine goes in effect. Forced together the find a way to have fun, laugh and make it through.

This is a light read that will let you stop for a moment.

I actually read the collection of books #1-6. All short stories, all super steamy to get your panties wet and all with a HEA. I love that the stories are all interconnected via friendship or family (with the exception of the last story but maybe I just missed the connection). Definitely a great set of books for your library!

A steamy short quarantine romance. Dahlia, the doomsday prepping type of mind, but so scatter brained that any prep she did is useless. Miles, the cop that comes to Dahlia’s rescue. They are quarantined together and feeling the instalust, so lots of steam going on. These two were the most annoying hero and heroine I’ve read from this author so far and I didn’t quite feel the love between them, but still an entertaining read.
