There is so much going on than the blurb suggests.
Tristan has had his eye on Kate for as long as she's worked for him, but he has never done anything about it, not only because he doesn't want to lose her but because he has been burnt in the past and now he doesn't get too involved with anyone.
Add to that that his father is pressuring him to get married or forfeit the company he has built.
By trying to land a deal, Tristan convinces Kate to join him for the business dinner, but he doesn't tell her that he had told James that Kate was his girlfriend.
Kate has some secrets of her own and the more time she spends with Tristan the harder it gets to keep them from him.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it had a lot of emotional depth to it and the characters where likable and relatable.

Tristan needs Kate's help to land a deal, Kate is happy to help her boss and the man she's had a crush on for ages.

This was a really good read, it had family drama, an office romance and a great plot with more twists and and turns than a rollercoaster.

A Perfect Debut!

A.K MacBride put together an amazing story for her debut novel. Tristan and Kate's story took me on a wild ride and I loved every moment of it!
