Turns out almost dying will leave you in a contemplative space, reflecting on violence, strategy, and revenge. For me, reliving those exact moments is the push I need to find the man who threatened my life. It also makes wasting time sitting in a classroom a pain in the ass.
After surviving a year and a half at Tracker Hive Academy, I'm left with wondering what's next for me: the-eight-element-carrying Junior Tracker with four boyfriends, a destructive alter ego, and no professional filter. Obviously, I have to face the person who wants me dead, but there has to be more to this, especially with certain allies involved.
Unfortunately, things only get more complicated when my sexy Trouble Four start having imbalance problems — again, making it difficult for everyone to tell them apart — except for me, of course. And if that weren’t enough, my Shadow wants to add to the chaos by attacking the very students we’re attempting to protect.
My life is definitely a shitstorm, and when my dad Alaric goes missing during an assignment, all bets are off.
I am the queen of my hive and I won't be told how to fight for what’s mine. With Zeke, Zion, Zackery, and Zeus on my side, there's nothing I need to fear — especially with Calvin as our wild card. We’re a deadly threat, and this hive survives best by doing one thing: breaking all the rules.
I'm not the first to admit I love Avery Song aka Yumoyori Wilson books but it's getting repetitive. Each individual series that ties into "5 female saviors" are somewhat too similar (in terms of female lead and love interests) and there are too many books. I understand she wants to go by semesters and end up with 8 books each, but it's too much for the reader. It would be better if it was just 3-4 books per girl because it's getting overly dragged out. And, not only is this too much for the reader it's too much for the author. Sadly I'm starting to loose interest in this series and the witching one because they all are blurring together and not much is happening, same old same old. I even mean it with the female leads because even though all authors have a mold the same one is being used too much in this specific 5 girl lead series. An example of this is, why do all the female leads need perfect school scores, why does the group need to be the top group? It would be nice to see an underdog. Additionally, I want some plot progress not to keep reading 300+ page books with nothing interesting happening/filler books. I don't want to say it this because I love her work but it needs to be said. 3 stars.
Another typical Avery Song book. More deep conversations and more outrageous banter.
I actually kind of loved Jade in her first book, because it was one among my very first RH books. I used to love how confident she was and vulnerable and insecure at times but now, it's kinda grating. One minute, she's this confident badass who talks unflinchingly and unapologeticaly about sex and other stuff in front of her parents and others without giving two fucks about anyone and two scenes later, she's this whiny fourteen-year-old who feels damn insecure and is confiding all her apparent 'flaws' to one of her boyfriends or someone close to her who has to convince her that her 'flaws' are the ones that make her special or she is not the only one scared or some shit like that. This is basically the sequence of the entire book. Confident badass - insecure teenager - confident badass - insecure teenager - confident badass - insecure teenager - confi.......*sigh*
It's got an interesting dynamic going on though. It's MFFMMMM. You could read the book for that alone, but the FF parts are not much. Like I said, one deep conversation between those two and bam! They are girlfriends. Not a kiss or nothing after that about those two.
There are quite a lot of spelling errors. You'll have to read carefully and I found myself frowning at a sentence often.
The author has made the last 10% of the book with heartbreak and some thrilling action going on...so you'll want to read the next book. (Spoiler: We meet Silver [from S.S.S.] and one of her boyfriends, who I'm assuming is Yuriel [because of the wings and motorcycle] so I'll pick up the next book since right now, Silver is my favourite of the three. Let's see where the book goes then)
Despite all this, it was a good book.....kinda. Give it a go. Who knows? If this is your jam, you'll love it.
The plot seems to have been lost somewhere along the way. I noticed it in book 2 but it is way worse with book 3. It was just pages and pages of emotional angst. I was able to skip several pages at a time with out missing anything related to a story. I finally had to tap out and delete the series from my watch list.
I find this to be a common problem with some authors as a series continues. The characters sit around talking about their feels on and on and on and on that nothing happens. Also part way through the characters are shocked that a secondary character is a bad guy but come on it was so obvious. The only way the guys would have been more obvious is if he had been wearing a shirt that said bad guy and walked around laughing maniacally.
Wow, Mind Is Blown!!😲💥 (Read using Kindle Unlimited) The Tracker Hive Academy: Year Three (Jade Storm Tracker #3)
This carried on beautifully from the revised version of Book #2!😍🎉 Jade goes through many changes throughout this book. Her 'death', understandably, affects her & her emotions.😕 Her Parents & her Hive mates, especially Zackary with their hive connection in place, all help her & offer advice & support!🙏💕
Alaric, Tanner & Bianca all decide to send them off early on summer break to just heal, train & connect properly! Poor Lisette doesn't get to go to the holiday island with them.😢 The 3 adults are going after Charles themselves, once & for all!!😲 They're sick of his escapes so will be off grid.
There are some heart wrenching revelations from Lisette about her 10 yrs with Charles!!💔 And more from events that occur!😭 The Prophecy is becoming more important than ever, but everyone is pretty much still in the dark. Same with the Hive's and everything they entail & no-one can find information on them anywhere, which is just weird!!😒😳
I loved this book. 😍💥 (It would have benefited from another read through by a proof reader I think! Her ARC team could step up their game to help out with mistakes a bit perhaps too!🙏💕👍) There was a lot of character development, all in positive ways!👍 Another romping good read!🌟
Tracker Hive Academy: Semester Three just keeps getting better with this series. Where book two left readers with a jaw-dropping scene that had you wondering "what the HECK just happened?!" book three picks right up where things left off and hits the ground running. I devoured this book so fast that I was looking for the next to start reading. Things are coming together piece by piece and Jade has to get ready for it all, because it's not going to be a walk in the park. Her Hive is getting bigger as a new addition makes themself known. Not everyone is on-board with the new addition, but hey...what can you expect really? But either everyone is going to get along or there are going to be some heads smacked together. Haha! Thankfully this book flows really well, and I'm glad to see that Calvin gets more attention in this book. It does take a minute as the quads are still as demanding as ever, and of course, the author chooses to make them the main focus of the storyline, but it's all good. I think I have a serious crush on Lisette. She's so cool and honestly...I can kinda relate on a few levels. lol! She brings a new balance to the storyline and I am here for it all. The only thing that I didn't like about this book was when Calvin started acting a bit like the Maxwells in the first chapter. I honestly knew it was Calvin's chapter, but then when he wanted to get all ego-centric towards Lisette I started wondering which Maxwell it was and had to go back and double-check. I like Calvin when he is more level-headed and less trying to act like he's big swingin' because of the unexpected appearance of a new character who has done nothing but help. This book is full of twists and surprises and revelations that had me shocked and ready to rumble depending on the situation. LOL! This book is REALLY good. It was so hard to put down and I am thrilled with it. I'm glad that the beginning picks up where the last left-off so there was no confusion as to trying to figure out the situation going on. I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I can't wait for the next book and to see how it all comes together.
The book starts off with Jade thwarting another one of Charles's killings with a little help from her newest hive Lisette! First book I've read where someone survives getting shot in the head! Unfortunately her throuble four and Calvin had to witness it all. Luckily it was a week before summer vacation so they get to start it early. Jade and her 5 men spend their summer in a sucluded beach location owned by the Trackers so they can rest, recuperate and train. Jade's parents Aleric, Bianca and Tanner are now assigned to Charles case. Lisette is to spend the summer recuperating from being held captive and writing anything she can remember about Charles(including his Diary that she read) down. Thing go haywire of course. They don't hear from Jade's parents. People impersonate Aleric and missuse Lisette to get the info on Charles so it stays in the bad guys hands. Then the first day of school comes....well you will just have to read it to believe it because it's crazy....crazy awesome!!!!
Absolutely loved this continuation of Jade's story! I love her relationship with Zeke, Zachary, Zion, Zeus, Calvin, and now Lisette! I will admit, at first I wasn't sold on the f/f but Jade and Lisette are going to do amazing things together! I loved the deeping bonds between them all throughout this story as well as all the twists, turns, and little cameos from the other girls in the prophecy that were woven into this book. Avery sure is taking us on a fun and wild ride with these interconnecting stories! I can not wait to see how the dark organization is taken down at the end and that Charles gets what he deserves.
I absolutely loved this book! With that cliff hanger we were left with at the end of semester 2 I was so anxious to know what happened next. After being saved by her 3rd Hive Jade realizes that she has been so focused on finding Charles that she hasn't taken the time to relax and bond with her Hives. Her and her Hives, minus Cross, spend the summer relaxing and enjoying the beach. It was exactly what they needed considering how heck tick things get the moment they return to reality. Enemies finally get what they deserve, Jade becomes headmaster?!?!, traveling to a different dimension, someone almost dying! This book is action packed and leaves you wishing semester 4 was out!

In true Jade fashion this book is FILLED with MAJOR shocks, oodles of adventure, and jaw dropping moments!!!! The hive grows, family strengthens, and the big bad goes on the run! Be warned there is a huge cliffhanger, but in true form you'll enjoy Jade, Shadow Jade, and all her yummy loves as they battle evil, heal their hearts, fight for justice and live life to the fullest! Such a delicious series to get hooked on!
Wow wow wow 🤩 Absolutely loved this book. Avery Song you have done it again and I am so glad I found your books. You characters continue to grow and strive to be the best they can regardless of what you throw at them, readers are left feeling more like they are friends then characters in a book.
You will be left smiling, shedding a tear and cheering on Jade’s growth in this book.
Ok I have to say I love Avery and most everything she writes!🥰🥰🥰 But by far Jade is my all-time favorite!🤩🤩 This book is PHENOMENAL 🤯 our girl has her groove back and this story is knocked out of the park! I couldn't put this down! I have a book hang over and it is sooooooooooo worth it! I'm super excited for more amazing storys of Jade!🥰😍🤩🤯🤯🥰😍
I loved, loved this story so dang much. This series is my absolute favorite of all and I completely and utterly adore Jade and Shadow Jade as well as the guys and her family. Couldn't put this down at all and so ready for the next book.
This is a great edition to the series. Jade and her hives go through more struggles. Will it ever end? I can’t wait for more. This series is so thrilling makes you cry mad and happy. Avery song has done it again.
Another great book in the series!!! I’m loving the growth in Jade and her relationships! I also enjoyed seeing more and learning more of Lisette! Come on next one! Can’t wait!
I loved this story. This was an emotional and intense story. Jade is growing and her interactions with the guys was entertaining. The joining of the girls, which is alluded to in Witchling Academy, is keeping me on tenderhooks. Can't wait to read more.
Wow! The character development in this book was great! You really got to see all of them grow mentally and emotionally with each other. So many things happened that i cannot wait until the next book!
Okay, I thought this series was getting better, I really did. The first was a flop, but the second was a bop! (I like rhyming, get over it) This one makes me want to stop …the series. There are too many characters with the same personality and evil quadruplets. Even for a fantasy about magical hives it was a bit ridiculous.
I know all of this authors books are connected (great marketing scheme btw- love the hustle) but STILL! I guess I could skip to the end because I probably won’t miss anything important but will get the gist.
And Jade needs to be more grateful! She goes on about being homeless for one year, which sucks, yes, but has nothing to say on living like a princess for the next ten years!!!
To conclude: Things got crazy, it made me feel hazy and the effort put in felt like the author was being lazy! *pause before exit for applause*
Hail hive queen jade not only does this queen survive death!! She meets her second and third hive Calvin baby I’m looking at you, but she becomes temporary headmistress of tracker hive and gets Ross thrown in jail finally, that ending shook me though Avery and some tears where shed, I was not expecting that at all I cannot wait for semester four.
It gets better and better! I love getting back to our fave characters at the Tracker Hive Academy. This semester has a lot of great action and drama. Especially when Jade’s parents have to leave on a special mission. Leaving Jade, Calvin and the Maxwells in charge. Oh. Spoiler alert... get ready to meet the third hive who is amazing and fabulous! I don’t want to give a lot away as this really is a series to read from book one. But you gotta jump on this series.
That ending. Omg!!! I’m so hyped up right now. Up to the next book. Her writing gets better and better with each book and I’m more and more being consumed by the story. MUST READ! Even if you don’t care about reverse harem like me. That part really matters to me, it’s a bonus, but it would’ve worked perfectly if some of them had just been friends. It’s the story that is so very thrilling. It’s great!
This was another winner. This author writes wonderful series that you love to know. The love stories are great too. This author writes wonderful storylines in every book. She has a great imagination. I highly recommend all her books and different series. Diana Romano
This book will catch your attention from the start. You will not want to put it down. Once you get to the end you will want more. It ends in a horrible cliffhanger. If you don’t like cliffhangers you might want to wait to read it until the story is complete. Love this series
You write about many things that I had to deal with in my life. Even though I am in the silver years of my life I still love the encouragement that you give to people. I wish that you wrote books for young teens because it is the topics that you write about with a good story that would help many children that I know.
So Jade almost died....again. Saved by the last hive member. Lot of deep thinking going on with everyone’s feelings which I think is great.
I haven’t completed the book, but I kind of wish that they’d become a complete hive, or at least besides Zachery being the only one to complete it, someone else can complete it also. Glad that Zachery was the first to complete it.

If it's even possible I love each book even more than the last one. Avery Song is an amazing author who has developed her characters so well, they feel like real people. It makes me wish for my own hive and magic powers. I love how each book leave you wanting more. Even if the cliffhangers might end my life early.
This was OK, I wasn't blown away by it and I wasn't unable to put it down. Jade's drama and attitude was really grating in this book, she is not a perfect character to begin with but she felt very bratty in this and the addition of Liselle didn't distract me either.
This is a really good series. Slow/Medium Burn. Good balance between character development/plot/sex/and plot twists. You wont get board. Just wish it was more of a true medium burn and had more steam.
