Lead Player is an all new story with cameos from your favorite characters from K. Bromberg's bestselling Everyday Heroes world!

I wasn’t looking for love... more like a one-night stand.

Hey, a woman has needs. And it couldn’t possibly end any worse than my last relationship.

If catching my long-term boyfriend getting plowed by his handsome best friend wasn’t bad enough... the fact that they were in our bed should be.

So, yeah. I’m good with one wild night with a complete stranger.

I just didn’t expect him to be so damn hot! I couldn’t tear my eyes away—even when he caught me staring. It was as if an invisible force held me captive in his lust-filled gaze.

We agreed, just one night. But the next morning I woke up in an empty bed feeling more alone than I expected.

Little did I know I would see my mystery man again. But the next time we would be standing beside our best friends as they said, “I Do.”

Not only was my one-night stand the best man... it turns out he’s the cocky lead singer of popular band Phenix.

No wonder he rocked my world, he’s had plenty of practice.

Meeting up with his regular hookup after meeting and having sex with the fmc is gross. When the ow is naked and grabs his junk I stopped. Even though he didn’t go through with it, I had zero desire to continue. Dnf at 30%.

Before I even started reading this book, I had a huge smile on my face! I mean the blurb people! Shenanigans running amok I say! Who doesn’t want to read a feel-good story like that?!?! Well, the reality did not disappoint my expectations!!

I won’t say that the story was just one huge comedic relief session, because it was not, but it also was not angst driven. Yes, it had its drama moments, but not angst. So really, the drama was more just part of a conflict and all stories have conflict. I enjoyed the chemistry and banter and all-around friendships. I honestly had a great time reading this story and it went by super quick! Well done!!

Lead The player brings a pleasant, sweet and sexy story to read, and although it is not my favorite by the author it still brings a good story.Enzo and Alaina have good chemistry and their attraction is palpable in the book, but for me there was something missing in their relationship together, perhaps because it was a short book, their development as a couple left something to be desired.I liked the friendship of Alaina and her friends, they brought humor and camaraderie to the book which was refreshing, and it was also a pleasure to see old acquaintances from the world of K.Bromberg.

I have to admit I haven't read any of K.Bromberg's books so I was unfamiliar with the world that this Everyday Heroes was set in. I have now added her to my list to read and catch-up on her books. I was drawn to this book by the hunky rockstar on the cover and I also liked the sound of the blurb. The book starts at a bar where our main female lead Alaina is out with her friends looking for a hunky guy to have a one night stand with- no strings attached. She spots a hot guy at the other end of the bar - Enzo. The pair give each other fake names and have a wild intense and passionate night of sex and go their separate ways. The next morning hungover Alaina is off with her friends to go skydiving and is about to meet her friend's fiance's best friend aka the Best Man. Imagine her surprise when it turns out to be the guy she had a one night stand with an even bigger surprise for her when she clicks she just slept with a famous rockstar. We learn that Enzo is ready to leave the Rock N Roll lifestyle behind and it looks like he has his eyes set on Alaina being the girl to help him do just that. Is Alaina though ready to settle down and be in a relationship and with someone who has fame and baggage? Find out in this cutesy romance love story - Lead Player by Alex Grayson.

Coming off Forevermore and Everlast I had ridiculous expectations for this book. Now, it was good don't get me wrong. It had a lot going for it. Rock star, one night stand turns lasting, a oopsie baby, a little crazy stalker action, some great friends, steamy sex scenes, and a good story. Really the only thing that was missing for me was "feels".

I liked Alaina and Enzo but I wanted more from their chemistry. It was insta lust, insta love which I'm fine with but I wanted it to grow deeper.

I don't know what else to tell you. I think people will like this book. It's enjoyable.

Geez, this review sounds kinda boring for a book I thought was good. Well...moving on.

I loved it. It wasn’t your typical rock star read and the characters were easy to connect with. It was a fairly easy read and while there was drama, I loved seeing the characters evolve and accept each other. Yeah, Enzo had his issues from his past but Alaina was understanding of it. I haven’t read that the books that this world steamed from but I plan too if they are as great as this one. I don’t want to give too much away but it was an each read with some chuckles along the way. The main characters were great and I really liked the secondary characters. They were a great support to the main characters and I loved seeing them call Enzo and Alaina out on their crap. 4 stars #2OCCJD

I was so excited to see this author was gonna write a story in The Everyday Heroes World as I’m a big fan of her writing.

Alaina is a very likeable character. A night out looking for a one night stand leads to more than what she expected when she meets the hot and sexy Enzo.

I absolutely loved this story. It’s a well written story that I ended up reading In one sitting. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

When Alaina has a hot night with a gorgeous man, she's disappointed when he sneaks out the next morning without a word. But she gets over it and moves on. But you can imagine her surprise (and displeasure) when her best friend's fiancé's best friend and best man turns out to be her one night. Only he has a different name and she comes to find out he's actually a famous rockstar. Yeah, she knew he looked familiar but couldn't place him. Now she knows and it makes her even more glad he didn't stick around afterward because she is not about players, wanting instead a committed relationship with a nice man. Manwhore rockstars like Enzo simply aren't capable of giving her what she's looking for.

Except perhaps Enzo is tired of the empty nights with women only looking to grab onto his fame. But can he convince Alaina he wants, and is capable, of more?

I mostly liked this entertaining story, but I had to take half a star off because the drama near the end was too much for me. Enzo behaved horribly and said something pretty unforgivable in my eyes. If he had said it to me, he would have been kicked to the curb and would have been out of my life permanently.

Perfect Player! 🔥

I kept seeing this book everywhere and added it to my TBR list right away. I couldn't help myself! That hot, beautiful cover sealed the deal, along with the very intriguing teaser. Now that I've had the pleasure of reading it, I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and was sorry to see it end.

A beautiful woman glances around the bar she's been hanging out in with her best friends and locks eyes with a gorgeous guy and he's definitely looking back. Smoldering back, really. Those sexy peeks continue, later turning into a no holds barred, no names mentioned one night stand that knocks them both for a loop. What a way to begin Lead Player and it only got better from there.

What happens when that attraction that was supposed to be a one and done ends up with complications neither could have seen coming? This is where the fun begins.

Make sure to read this one, it has much to offer if a great romance with not too many stomach churning twists are what you're craving. There's plenty of steamy scenes to curl your toes, characters that are likeable, loveable, fun and witty, except for one! It's part of the KB Everday Heros World and while I felt that there were other characters from another story mixed in with Enzo and Alaina's, it didn't make a difference in my total enjoyment of this one.

It was a quick and very satisfying read, finished in a few hours with a smile on my face and a happy feeling in my heart. How I just love a 'down the road' epilogue and Lead Player had a sweet one! I think I may need to see what else Alex Grayson has to offer. I found this easy flowing book to be a perfect highlight to my weekend reading. It's a recommend from this reader!!!

4 Star Review Lead Player by Alex Grayson

Alex Grayson is a new author to me. This was a fun and entertaining read that kept me invested form the first to the last chapter.

What happens when a hot one night stand sudden;y reappears? That is the position Alaina aka Eve finds herself in when the best man at her best friends wedding turns out to be Taylor aka Enzo, a man she had a hot and passionate night with.

The banter between them was fun and the chemistry between them sizzled. There was some drama, humour and some steamy time. Set in K. Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes World no doubt you will be familiar with the Malone brothers, who I adore;it was great being back in Sunnyville and seeing some familiar faces.

This is a well written romance and although my first by Alex Grayson, it will not be my last.

Alaina is on the prowl, she is looking for a quick one night release and she finds it in the sexy stranger across the bar. They share an amazing night together where both understand that is all it will ever be. Alaina is shocked when she runs into her sexy stranger again because her sexy stranger isn't such a stranger. Enzo, the sexy stranger, is actually best friends with Alaina's best friends's fiance and the lead guitarist for a famous rock band. Not only is she surprised to see him and that it is such a small world but she is also blown away that she didn't recognize him. But it doesn't matter because she isn't interested in anything more than their one night together. Enzo has a different plan. He is tired of the rock in roll life. He is ready for quiet in his life. He doesn't know if he can do forever but he knows that he isn't done with Alaina.

I have not read any of the books in the Everyday Heroes World and this was my first Alex Grayson book. I didn't feel like I was missing anything by it being my first. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others. I respected where Alaina was coming from in her hesitation to be with Enzo but I loved the fact that it wasn't a long drawn out ordeal before she caved to his charms. Then once she did - she was all in and there was no petty jealousy or cattiness or hesitation. I totally loved that. Ezno bless his dumb naive heart - I loved how sweet and charming he was but man was he oblivious and dumb when it came to women. At least he can admit when he is wrong and is great at groveling. This was a quick and fun read that I am beyond glad that I read.

Predictable But Enjoyable

I’d probably give this book 3.5 🌟 if I could.

I decided to have a dip into the Everyday Heroes World books and try some of the novels by authors I’d not come across before. As I was enjoying some rock star books at the moment I decided to try this one.

I like the concept of Enzo being the lead guitarist and main songwriter for a rock band and wanting to leave because touring was miserable. Basically the novel is set at a time of change for someone who has been living life one way for 10 years and is about to try something different. Enzo has had his heart burned a bit before in the past and because of that has been reluctant to get into anything serious with anyone since. It’s made easier to do this because of, you know, him being a rock star and all.

Alaina has been single for a year and is actually looking for a long term relationship. She’s tried dating apps and it’s been miserable. She’s also really missing sex so sets out to have a one night stand and when she meets a handsome guy in a bar proceeds to have one. Both of them giving false names.

When they meet several days later at a wedding function, Enzo is delighted at the opportunity to see Alaina again. Alaina isn’t as sure when she finds out who he really is.

Basically the story continues in this fairly predictable way. This is a well worn path for a reason. The set up works. The only difference is Enzo retiring. Alaina is the magic special person who converts Enzo into something other than the determined bachelor and Enzo is the magic special person that makes Alaina give up her plans to try with the ‘bad boy’ because he’s super special.

Though it’s a slightly tired trope, it was a still a well written one. The plot was well constructed and the characters thought out really well. It was an enjoyable read, and sometimes predictable is what you want from a romance novel. Especially when the world isn’t a great place to be, it’s nice to have a safe and well constructed HEA.

4.5 Stars for Lead Player (The Everyday Heroes World)
This is the first book I have read by Alex Grayson and it certainly won’t be the last, in fact I’m left wondering why she hasn’t crossed my radar before now because if Lead Player is anything to go by I’m going to love playing catch up on her previous books.
If you have read Cuffed, Combat and Cuffed you will already met the Malone brothers and we get to meet them all over again as Ms Grayson joins K.Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes World.
Enzo is tired of the life of a rockstar, he is now looking to settle down write some music and possibly find his soulmate so he has moved home to Sunnyville to take stock of his life.
Alaina hasn’t always made the right choices when it comes to men and she is still looking for the right man to settle down with, one night stands have never been her thing but what’s wrong with spending the night with the sexy stranger who seems to be calling her name, maybe it’s time for fun.
This is a beautifully written romance that captivated me from the first page to the last line, it’s a romance that touched me on so many levels, I loved the characters and the witty banter they shared, I swooned a lot and I wanted more, a sure sign of a great read. Looking forward to reading more from the very talented Ms Grayson.

This is a cute little read, sexy and fun with a nice amount of emotion. It’s part of K. Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes world, which I haven’t read, and this can easily be read as a standalone.

Alaina has had seriously bad luck with men and is on the prowl for a hot one night stand, and she gets it when she eyes a sexy stranger at a bar, they share some intense eye-fucking, and she takes him home for a night of mind-blowing sex. Though they agreed it would be one night only, Alaina is hurt when she wakes up to an empty bed, but life goes on, right?

And then… surprise! It turns out her sexy stranger is the best man to her maid-of-honor at their respective best friends’ wedding. And not only that, but he is the lead guitarist of a popular rock band, and a known player. Awkward!

Enzo is thrilled to see Alaina again. Their night together rocked his world, and he was gutted that he had to leave her bed early. And although they agreed to one night, he knows it’s not enough for him. And with wedding activities imminent, he’s determined not to let Alaina get away.

There’s not a chance in hell I can ignore my attraction to the maddening woman. It’s too fucking strong.

It’s a really fun set-up, and I loved the dynamic between these two! Their chemistry is palpable, with great flirting, banter and bickering, but Alaina tries her best to keep Enzo at bay, now knowing his reputation and wanting no part of it. She’s ready for a relationship, and Enzo has a battle on his hands to convince her that he wants the same.

I loved watching Enzo fight for Alaina, and it doesn’t take too long for her to give him the chance he wants, and the progression of their relationship is lots of fun, and seriously sexy. They’re so freaking gorgeous together! But they do have some hurdles to overcome, and there is some drama which made me a bit twitchy, but the resolution is gorgeous, and leads to a really sweet HEA, and even an epilogue to finish everything off really nicely.

“We’re forever, baby. Nothing and no one can take our forever away from us.”

There are cameos from the couples from the Everyday Heroes world, and there seem to be stories already established for Alaina’s friends, which may tie in to another series? But as I said, this one reads perfectly fine as a standalone. The introduction of the members of Enzo’s band, Phenix, makes me wonder whether Grayson will continue on with a series for them, and if she does, I’m definitely on board for those.

I enjoyed this one. It’s a short read so the story moves quickly, but she manages to bring emotion and get me invested in Alaina and Enzo as a couple. I could have done with a little less extreme drama, but I was happy with how it all ended up.

3.5 stars.

I'm going to premise this with the fact that I have not read any of The Everyday Heroes World of K. Bromberg's and I also have not read Alex Grayson before. So, it was a fresh new world and I don't think I needed any of them to like (or not like) this book. It was an enjoyable and sexy book with a little drama thrown in for good measure.

Alaina and her girlfriends are out for a night of fun and are looking for some fresh meat. Alaina has not been lucky in the man department for the last year so she's only looking for a romp in the hay to satisfy her needs. When she sees the bearded, good looking guy across the bar from her, she sets her sights on him for ONE NIGHT of fun. Will the stranger be up for a little fun?

Enzo is back in town after touring with his band for basically ever. He's been the manwhore and has had his fun. For the last year, he hasn't been fulfilled. He always knew this career wasn't going to be forever, but now it's time for him to plant down roots, quit the band and change up his rockstar looks. What happens when he introduces himself to Alaina as Taylor and they have their one night of fun??

Lead Player was fun right from the get go. Alaina and Enzo introduced themselves to one another as Eve and Taylor, so there was no going back on their one night deal. And that one night was hot hot hot! I enjoyed how Alex Grayson took the characters to a one night stand to them all being friends with one another by Alaina's best friend and soon her to be husband. Their crew was fun to hang out with. I miss the secondary characters as much as the main characters. The banter was fun and the sexy looks they threw each other's way was just as entertaining. Maybe we could get more from their world?

All the added drama from Enzo's little sister's best friend wasn't really to my liking, but hey, I guess there had to be some drama in there. Overall, the story was fast paced and got to the point. There was a little bit of the characters holding back at the beginning, but they gave in quite easily to their needs and wants. They were a fun crew and you could feel the love between the friends. I could feel the heat between Enzo and Alaina too, but wouldn't have minded if there was more build up and getting to know them as a couple before all the drama of their relationship.
I enjoyed the story for what it was and I'm glad I finished a new to my author in this KB world. 3.5 stars

A Quick Read With a Little Bit of Everything

Alex Grayson gives her readers a quick little diddy with so much angst, sexy and action it leaves your head spinning. This novella was perfect timing for me, as I wanted something to read, but didn't want the huge commitment.

Usually not a fan of insta-love, the blurb plainly states this was a one night stand, so I really wasn't surprised. Enzo and Alaina were both strong lead characters, so it was a treat to see how they were going to work things out. Enzo is a reformed rock and roll manwhore, while Alaina was coming off of a pretty devastating breakup. They notice each other from across the bar and it's instant fireworks for both of them.

Now there wouldn't be a book if it were a true one night stand, so it was a treat to follow these two after they realized thier respective best friends were getting married. The book was a nice change of pace to the manwhore genre, with Enzo wanting more at this stage in his life. The only thing that worried me about Alaina was her instant jealous streak. That got real old, real fast.

The book is well written and moves at lightning speed. While that may be a downfall for this storyline, as there were so many moving parts, Alex Grayson did a nice job tying it all together in the end. I haven't read any of the Everyday Heroes books and didn't feel lost reading this one with thier backstories explained nicely.

Ok, so I read this book at the perfect time. I was looking through my books, trying to see which ones I wanted to read next. I was hoping for something along the lines of a rockstar/celebrity romance because I am always a fan of them! I found this little gem tucked behind a couple other books on my kindle shelf and immediately started to read.

I really liked the beginning of the book. however I felt like it was a little fast paced. The second main character (H) is known as a ladies man, but within the first few chapters he's decided to settle down. That just seems way to insta-love to me. I like a slow burn/tense beginning, and this just didn't have one.

But, it did have chemistry! I could feel the chemistry between these two. On the chemistry level, I would give them a solid 6/10.

The banter between the two was pretty entertaining to read, but I really loved the friendship and camaraderie in this book. I love friends supporting one another, and not tearing each other down. This book had exactly that!

It had a great cast of secondary characters to help thicken the plot.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first Alex Grayson read and I was not disappointed. I read it, I loved it. The plot flowed smoothly from start to finish…what was meant to be a one-night stand becomes so much more. Little did Enzo and Alaina know they would meet again through mutual friends. Enzo’s reputation proceeds him and he has an uphill battle convincing Alaina to take a chance on him. Grayson does a great job of weaving a story that details the progression of their relationship, which like most good love stories has the inevitable bumps in the road. Enzo and Alaina’s chemistry is off the charts. Enzo is a sexy rocker and Alaina is a strong, sassy woman. There are also a varied cast of supporting characters – Enzo and Alaina, each have a great group of friends that add touches of humor, camaraderie and loyalty to the story…conversely there will be other characters you will love to hate.. If you are looking for a entertaining, fast, sexy, read (I read it in one sitting), this may be the book for you. Advanced copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Lead player is an engaging and sweet romance. It is part of K.Bromberg’s Every Day Hero World.
The book starts off with some amazing flirting and chemistry. I was engaged from the beginning! I loved the passion and steam that Alaina and Enzo give us. Enzo and Alaina seem to be very complex characters and I would have really liked to have gotten to know them more. Their relationship has lots of passion. But have some baggage and it was interesting to see how that all effected their relationships.
The friend groups’ interactions adds a lot to this story and helps carry the plot and movement of the story line. You really needed them or there would have been a flatness to the story. I do like the antagonist in the story. It does give us a chance to see hoe smart and preceptive Alaina is and how naive men can be sometimes.
The author, Alex Grayson and K. Bromberg are both new to me authors. I read this as a complete stand alone. This was very palatable and easy read. It was quick and would be a perfect book for the beach or by the pool. It did leave me with some questions and wanting a little more of the characters but over all this was a solid 3.75/5 read for me.

Lead Player started out hot. Alaina has had some bad luck in relationships, so she’s just looking for one hot night. And behold, she meets Enzo. But both give fake names; Alaina because she wants this to be one night only, and Enzo because he’s trying to hide his fame. You see….Enzo is a musician who has become tired of the fame and is back in his hometown looking for some calm.

After their one sizzling night, Alaina never expects to see him again. Jokes on her because her one night stand ends up being a part of the same wedding party for her best friend’s wedding.

The progression between Alaina and Enzo was perfect. They took their chemistry and turned it into a real, deep, emotional connection. It was sweet, sexy, and full of fun banter.

There were a couple plot points that felt very predictable. End result was still enjoyable, just not as addicting or enchanting as could have been.

I have to be completely honest here. I am not familiar with K Bromberg and The Everyday Hero world. I know, shame on me. Having not read this world before, all of the characters were new. It added a fresh take on a world making it seem like a brand-new world for me and I liked that. The main reason that I was intrigued by this book was because of the author, the blurb, and the cover model (huge fan of his).

The start of this book started really hot. HOT is actually an understatement. I loved the chemistry of Alaina and Enzo. However, after that, I never really connected with them the way that I wanted to. everything felt a little cliche to me and the drama at the end left me a little exasperated with the characters and the story. The epilogue though was nice which is why I ended up giving this four stars. I am a huge fan of this author and even though this story didn't completely wow me, it still was a good book./

This is the third book I’ve read in the Everyday Hero’s series set in K. Bromberg’s world. I did read all 3 of her Malone Brothers series and loved them very very much and am very exited to be able to read these books! I have not read anything by Alex Grayson before.

This was a great story, a supposed one night stand with a stranger who turns out to be not only a rockstar but the best friend of her best friends fiancée, so that whole we’ll never see each other thing isn’t really going to work out even though she has not intention of repeating that night, much to Enzo’s dismay. Luckily for him it doesn’t take him long to change her mind.

This was a quick read with some great chemistry, good characters and a fun story.

Lead Player is the first book I’ve read by Alex Grayson. The story begins with Alaina and one of her girlfriends out on the town looking for a one night stand. She finds a handsome man and spends the best night of her life with him. When she wakes up he’s gone. They never exchanged numbers so she assumes they’ll never see one another again. So imagine her surprise when her one night stand shows up at her friends wedding as the best man. Enzo is in a famous band and hasn’t been back home in a very long time. He’s ready to get out of the business and settle down. Alaina puts up a little resistance, but Enzo is persistent. I really enjoyed both characters and watching them fall in love. This book was a quick, fast paced read with just a little bit of angst.

Alania is looking for a one-night stand something to take her mind off everything going on in her life. When she sees someone tall, dark, and handsome across the bar she figures why not. She doesn't play games and just needs to feel something. When she meets Tyler their sparks fly and it's holy hotness. One night stands are suppose to stay that way however for these two they are about to be thrown together a few times. Their passion is unmistakable and I loved reading their story. They both want the same thing each other, but want to know more and take the time to hear about themselves. Can two people who were only suppose to be a one night thing be something more? I loved this story and I was so bummed that it was over.

YYYEEESSSS!!!! I am going to admit that I have read a string of books the past few weeks that started out solid and ended with me wishing I hadn’t ever started them – this is NOT ONE OF THOSE. Thank you, Alex Grayson, for writing something fun to read from start to finish! I needed something HOT and playful and a good summer read, and this git that bill perfectly.

I do with the book was a little longer – my only complaints really revolve around that – I think we could have had a little more character development and plot movement with another few chapters, but what we do get is definitely worth the read. Alaina and Enzo have off-the-charts chemistry from the first moment they meet, and I wish we had more time to experience that during the book, but that sounds like a petty complaint, even as I type it!

The Everyday Heroes World has a lot of fun romances, and this is a great addition to it. I definitely recommend, especially if you are looking for a shorter read. Guaranteed HEA, rock star romance fun, wonderful side characters, and a fun, if sometimes predictable plot. 4 stars. Go grab this one today!!

I'm so in love with Lead Player. By the time I finished this one I had a huge smile on my face. I love what Alex Grayson brings to The Everyday Heroes World. Enzo will just melt you panties and make you swoon. Aliana is just so sweet. You feel their attraction from the very start and it is so hot. You get why Aliana is cautious when it comes to Enzo and the life he once lead. You will giggle just a little when it comes Aliana and her girls. And yes there will be a few times you want to yell at Enzo for bein so stupid. I really loved this one. Enzo and Aliana are just so sweet together. I really could not get enough. You really need to pick up this sexy sweet read.

Omg what an amazing read!!! I love K. Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes series & this book compliments them perfectly!! A one night stand that she can’t get rid of, but does she really want to??? If I was her I wouldn’t. Enzo comes off as an arrogant player, but he has grown up & is really looking for more. Alaina is extremely stubborn & when she keeps seeing Enzo she doesn’t want to give in. I wish I had her willpower because I could probably stick to a diet longer. I am not sure how she is able to stay away as long as she does. The push & pull between these two just adds to their wonderful story. I felt like these two blend in so well with K. Bromberg’s characters that it was a original!! The only problem I had was I wasn’t ready for it to end. The chemistry was hot & well written, loved this book & all the characters!

I highly recommend this book. Told in dual POV.

Lead Player is a story that grips you right from the very start. A story that is like the beat to your heart, the words are like a beautiful love song and the journey is like an enchanting rhythm. Enzo and Alaina’s story was supposed to be just scratching an itch, but when their thoughts are consumed by each other and fate plays a part, one night might just not be enough. An emotional story that is angsty, passionate, witty and seriously sexy. A captivating addition to the Everyday Heroes World that will have you on the edge of your seat and falling in love with this couple. A rockstar romance with a little difference that will have you ensnared into the pages.

How would you feel if your sexy one night stand shows up to be the best man for your best friends wedding? AWKWARD. The story line between Alaina and Enzo is HOT HOT HOT. Once Alaina figures out who Enzo is, she wants NOTHING to do with him and tries to hide her feelings. Unfortunately, (swoon alert), Enzo has his eyes on the prize and is willing to take any measures for her. As the story started developing, I kept thinking oh man this is going to get crazy when two different arcs came into play. I sat willingly to see how it was all going to play out and man, did the author do such a good job of playing these two scenarios off each other so well.

Alex Grayson is hands down one of my favorite authors, so when I found out she was writing a novel for the Every Day Heroes World, I knew I had to get my hands on it as soon as I could! I absolutely loved Enzo and Alaina! This book has it all, and once I started I couldn’t put it down. The attraction between these two is off the charts, and when they get together it is sexy, sensual and may cause you to have to turn up your A/C! You also get a story full of friends ship, laughs and characters with true depth to them. I loved every one of them!
