I thought the hot scenes were too weird with all the puns but this one had some mystery and intrigue which i liked

La conozco desde siempre.
Georgina es atrevida, sexy y terca como el infierno. También es la hermana pequeña de mi mejor amigo. Y ella está en serios problemas.
Pero la pregunta del melón-dólar es, ¿esta mujer de voluntad fuerte me dejará ayudar?
Librito número 7 de la serie The way to a men's Heart y para mí fue casi un melón!
One in a melon no fue mí favorito pero no deja de ser una historia rápida y sexy para pasar el rato, entretenida.
Grady y a Georgina aunque eran lindos personajes no llamaron mí atención, estaban bien pero no me pasó nada con ellos, lo único que yo quería era saber el secreto que ella guardaba y que ni siquiera quería que supiera el hermano policía.
El romance más o menos. Se conocían desde hace seis años pero al parecer la traba para estar juntos no era el mejor amigo de Grady y hermano de Georgina, Vance (Don't bacon my Heart) sino que pensaban, encima ambos, que no eran suficientes para el otro! La chispa estaba pero quedaba algo raro entre el juego de palabras con melón y las metáforas de plantas mientras estaban en la cama. No lo cursi lindo que me gusta a mí.
Esto me decepcionó porque me gustó Grady y tuve curiosidad de él en los libros anteriores.
Por fin se devela lo que Georgina ocultaba y estaba toda misteriosa!
Nunca lo hubiera adivinado y pensé que sería algo más. Me sorprendí, fue malo sí pero no me impresionó tampoco.
Quería que pasará algo más con ese tema y la amiga que la metió en eso. Pero Karen estaba desaparecida. La verdad que con las decisiones que tomaba Georgina llegó a irritarme. Por qué no llamó al hermano que podría haberla ayudado mejor? Hubiera sido todo más fácil.
En vez de eso llama a Grady, del que estuvo seis años enamorada y no sabe que él siente lo mismo, entonces en vez de decirle en qué problema malo está metida terminan teniendo sexo! En serio? Me resultó chocante y al día siguiente él se disculpa. No sé.
Toda esta historia hubiera funcionado de otra forma, me gusta el suspenso y peligro pero aquí apenas se tocó y era lo principal en la historia con Georgina.
Me encantó lo que siguió con los epílogos, la boda fue un melón de divertida.

These are like a really good bag of chips. Do I need to, should I eat every one of the Doritos in the blue bag? No. But will I because they’re so addicting? Yes. Yes, I absolutely will with no shame.

I’m definitely knee deep in this series at this point so I sort of know what to expect. Unfortunately this was a miss for me. I really enjoyed the idea that the characters knew each other for 6 years prior to the events of this book. It made their chemistry feel so real. BUT y’all the sec scenes made me cringe. Between the excessive “oh gods” and the comparison of body parts to a garden drove me absolutely crazy. I just couldn’t understand how they found that entertaining. I also don’t like that Georgie called Grady to her house to help with a problem and instead of helping her with her problem he declared his move and had sex with her and only felt guilty the next morning. He also made an awkward comment in the epilogue when he stated that she was “pure woman” because she longed was a virgin and liked sex. I was mind blown SMH. Ahh. The plot would have been good if the book was longer. I think Love attempted too complex of a plot a novella and it would have been better for a full length novel. I’m not a fan of this one but I’m going to continue with the series as I really enjoyed a few of the previous books.

Book 7 in The Way to a Man’s Heart series and it was a great read. Love these quick reads. Grady and Georgina were really good together. Great chemistry and attraction between them.

Georgina was acting weird in Vance and Valerie's story.
Remember Valerie is her bestfriend and was her roommate before Vance finally claimed her.
Grady is Vance's bestfriend/ gym mate and the owner of a produce store. He has also been in love with Georgina for years.
So we get answers about Georgina's odd behavior.
She calls Grady instead of her brother because Vance is a cop and she trusted the wrong person disguised as a friend.
There night of passion happens before any hardcore secrets are revealed.
But when Geogina explains the next morning how her life choices led her down a path with a criminal Grady is there to pick up the peices and solve her problems. But it turns out her brother needs to be called because Georgina knows the whereabouts of the criminal mastermind he and three other police departments are looking for.
This book has plenty of produce puns.
Plenty of love
Alot came out if her brush with the crime turns out she made a new career out of her mistakes.
And a HEA

Yet another fantastic addition to Frankie Love’s The Way To A Man’s Heart series. “Once In A Melon” is a deliciously sweet and naughty forbidden romance, instaLove read. Georgie is his best friend’s little sister and totally off limits. Grady is the one, she’s loved him from afar and gas saved herself for him. When push comes to shove Grady and Georgina give into their feelings and fall head over melons for one another. TBR this novella length read and enjoy.

Our love story has just started, but I know it will grow more abundant than any garden
ONE IN A MELON is the seventh book in The Way To A Man's Heart series and is the story of Georgina and Grady. Grady is twenty-six years old and is one of the guys that works out at the gym and has been best friends with Vance for years. He owns his own business, Grady's Garden Supply Co. which has a gardening store and also carries produce from local growers. So on this day he has brought a crate of extra watermelons with him for the guys.
Georgina is twenty-two years old and works as a virtual personal assistant and is trying to write her first book. She is also the younger sister of Vance, from Don't Go Bacon My Heart.
When Georgina was sixteen and Vance and Grady were twenty they had a night in a hot tub with alcohol and a game of truth or dare. When it was Georgina's turn Grady got out of the tub as he was already in love with Georgina and knew that she was off limits, as Vance had already made that clear. But he has always been "Grady" to Georgina. She can depend on him in ways including when she cannot tell Vance something. Grady is always there for her, no matter what and with no judgement.
Thus when Grady receives a text from Georgina, "I need your help. Don't tell my brother. Please.", he know that something is very wrong and she has messed up in some way. When he arrives are her apartment Georgina is not ready to be fully open about what has happened. But instead they end up finishing that game of truth or dare with a few truths being told by each of them. Let's just say that it leads to the beginning of their relationship and a whole lot of very hot and steamy sex that night.
But there is still the little issue of what Georgina did. Once she tells Grady he knows what needs to happen and assures her that he will always be there for her no matter what happens.
This is a well written, fun, witty, entertaining and sexy short story. The characters fit together and you can tell that they not only have sizzling chemistry but they also really love each other. There is a bit if cross-over of characters but this is a standalone book. I loved ONE IN A MELON and recommend it and the previous books in the series.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Georgina "Georgie" and Grady. Georgie is Vance's sister who we meet in Don't Go Bacon my Heart (you do not have to read this book first but to avoid spoilers I would). Georgie has gotten her self in quite a bit of trouble and she calls the one person she knows will come when she calls. The thing is can she keep her attraction to herself. Grady has watched his friends fall in love one right after another. Now instead of having time at the gym the guys re always busy. Major is the one of their friends that isn't with someone at this point but he has his eye on someone. He tells Grady he'll find her one day. The problem is he found her but with knowing her brother Vance and having him warn him off her will he get his girl? Will these two find their HEA or will the problems the perceive between them drive them apart forever?
This is another amazing hit in this series. As I said before each of these stories can be read as stand alone's. But one might weave into another so I would advise reading them in order. This one will have you laughing one minute and hoping they get it right the next. There is so much I want to tell you however I don't want to ruin the book for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Georgie confesses to Grady she trusted a person she thought was a friend but really a criminal. Grady says he will help Georgie, but they need to call her brother, Vance, because he and other law enforcement departments have been looking the criminal that Georgie finds herself mixed up with. Can Grady help Georgie with her problem? With Grady's help, will Georgie go for her dream of writing her book? Can Grady and Georgie find their happily ever after? I absolutely love Frankie Love. One in a Melon was a great quick romantic read with great characters that will make the reader laugh out loud. I would highly recommend getting One In a Melon and all the other books in The Way To A Man's Heart series by Frankie Love.

I love Watermelon!!! This was such a cute story. Of course, this series has to do with all of the men in this town that met in the gym or had been friends for a while… This story is about Grady and Georgie. Georgie is Vance’s little sister and Grady is his best friend as well. Grady has his own business which deals with gardens, etc.…. Georgie doesn’t know what she wants to do but seems to have gotten herself involved with a woman who was dealing with a pyramid scheme. Luckily Georgie didn’t have money to go in on this scheme but when she realized what was going on, she didn’t say anything to anyone but he person doing the scheme. She was then blackmailed and was afraid to say anything, so she calls on the one man that can help her – Grady. He always drops anything for her and so he is off to say the day, but when he gets there, he notices Georgie in a way that he doesn’t like. I loved this as they both were finally opened about something that was holding them back. I won’t say more but note it was a great read.

This entire series is really amusing! You never know what the author will tackle next! In this story, Grady has been in love with his best friend Vance’s younger sister, Georgina, for years, but she was too young at 16 compared to his 20. Now that 6 years have gone by, the 4-year age gap isn’t really a problem.
Grady didn’t know that Georgina has been secretly in love with him all this time too. She just didn’t say anything because she was insecure about a successful businessman having interest in someone like her. Georgina knows that Grady can be counted on to “have her back” and she calls him when she gets herself mixed up in some trouble. After sharing a special evening together, she tells him about the trouble and he realizes nothing will keep him away from her. He will keep her safe always.
The characters are portrayed so well that they truly seem real. The reader can feel their emotions and can empathize with their predicament. Grab your copy and find out where the story goes from here. Is there a HEA for this couple?

Grady has loved Georgina for the last six years but never telling her when he gets a text of her if she will come help her as she is in trouble but don’t tell her brother Vance he goes to her straightaway.. Georgina has always been able to rely on Grady she has loved him from a far thinking he wouldn’t want her especially now she is in trouble. Grady waits for Georgina to tell him what is going on but a confession slips from her mouth of how hot he is. Georgina can’t believe she just said and asks for a piece of melon but that then leads to the, admitting how they feel about each other. After a night of passion reality comes to them when Georgina tells Grady what has gone on he knows she needs to tell her brother Vance who is a cop. Grady goes with Georgina to meet Vance as her support she tells Vance everything she knows ends up staying at the police station all day. When Grady sees Georgina she looks tired but happy she gave them all the info she had so they could catch villain she needs to testify but that’s it she is free so they start their lives together

I liked this story a lot. It was very entertaining. The characters were interesting and relatable.
Grady is one of the only single guys left in his group of friends. His friends have all been meeting "The One" and having relationships. Grady has known his "One" forever. The problem with him claiming her, she's his best friend's little sister. Georgina's sexy, sassy and a free spirit. Now she's in trouble and calls Grady for help, but isn't sure if he can help her.
It was so sweet that Grady and Georgina felt the same about each other but thought the other deserved more, better or whatever. There is a bit of angst, but the way it gets resolved is the best. The melon puns were awesome! Their happy ever after made me smile. I recommend reading this book.

Another fun read in this fun series Where characters are interconnected but each story is a stand alone We have met Georgie(Georgina) before she is Vance's sister and Valerie's best friend and roommate in Don'r Go Bacon My Heart and we have also met Grady as he is one of the gym buddy guys that have starred throughout the entire series

This is another great story by Frankie Love. I love this latest story in 'The Way to A Man's Heart' series. I love finally reading Grady and Georgina's story. I was hoping that they would get together when we met them in an earlier story. There is something going on with Georgina and she finally turns to Grady for help. She has loved him forever but doesn't know that he cares for her. Brady gets a call from Georgina and drops everything to go to her. He has been in love with her for years but doesn't want to ruin his friendship with her older brother. Will they be able to work through what is troubling her?

Georgina is in deep fertilizer. She has been in love with Grady since her teens. She feel that Grady who is her brother’s best friend is the only one she can turn to in a time of need. He has come through for her before and she is hoping he does now. Georgina, hopes that he can help her get out of the mess she has made. Grady is willing to do anything for Georgina. If he professes his love to her will she accept it and trust him? For a man who grows plants and vegetables will she cents him for who he is? Will her brother be the barrier that keeps them separated? Whoa almost forgot got about best friend Vance. Damn.

This is a crazy, funny, entertaining story about two people who have loved each other for what seems like forever, but neither has told the other. Grady is solid, stable, owns a garden center and he has loved Georgie since she was 16. Georgie, is a little ditzy, unsure of what she wants to do with her life and sometimes this gets her in to trouble. Grady has always been her rock. Grady has finally decided to tell her how he feels.What will happen? Has Georgie got herself in some real trouble this time? What will Georgies big brother do? It’s a funny, entertaining, laugh out loud story and you will definitely enjoy it! Honeydew you want to marry me?

Frankie Love is one of my favorite authors and in my opinion, never releases a bad book. However, every book is not going to for everyone. One in a Melon is one of those for me. The heroine, Georgina, makes some questionable choices because of her "big secret" that irritated me; however, Grady comes through like the alpha he is to take control of the situation and claim his woman. Since it is a Frankie Love book, you can count on a safe and steamy story! - 3 1/2 Stars

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
One in a melon is book seven in the ‘’a way to a mans heart’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I so loved Once in A Melon by Frankie Love. Grady is without a doubt one of my new favorite book boyfriends. He has only ever loved one girl and that's Georgie, his best friend's little sister. When Georgie finds herself in trouble, she calls the one guy she knows she can trust-Grady. She has wanted Grady for years but he has never shown any interest. Grady is ready and willing to help Georgie any way he can. Georgie knows Grady is one in a melon and she wants forever. Loved all the fruit puns and the chemistry is off the charts hot! Can't wait for the next one!

This is Grady and Georgina story. Grady is the gardner that has been previously mentioned in the other books. Georgina is Vance sister. This one is different in the fact that the other books in the series are mostly instalove and get together; whereas, Grady and Georgina love is years in the making. It isn't until Georgina needs Grady help that things are revealed. Great characters with great chemistry. Love the little puns.

Cute storyline of loving her your brother’s best friend, like the characters of Georgina and Grady. Both are infatuated with the other, but neither wants to damage their relationship with Vance (the brother/best friend). Plus there is another problem which could jeopardize everything if it gets out that Georgina knows some incriminating information. Fast paced to go along with over six years of wanting. Fun read with a great ending.

This book number 7 in The Way To A Man's Heart series and it can be read as a standalone. Grady is a growly protective alpha male and his protective of Georgina who happens to be his best friend's sister, and she is part of the reason that he can't sleep at night and also because of the feelings he has for her.. Grady doesn't think he has any right, well Georgina, is about unravel more than one mystery when she calls on her grumbly knight for help. Passion, love, chemistry make this a great read.

One in a Melon will have you laughing your pants off with all the fruit puns. As with this series Frankie Love does not miss a beat with the passion and strength of the characters.
Georgina is a hot mess, but is doing her best. Grady is rough but enjoys his shop and garden. In love for years they finally stop and admit their feelings.

Oh my! Grady's growly protective vibe matches well with Georgina, his best friend's sister, and the reason that keeps him up at night! The feelings he has for her.. Grady doesn't think he has any right, well Georgina, is about unravel more than one mystery when she calls on her grumbly knight for help. Passion. Love. Heat. OMG Grady and Georgie are so meant for each other , so LOL at the banter between them in this best friends sister romance although Vance didn't have a problem with them being together , didn't want this little gem of a book to end , so looking forward to "HEY SWEET TEA" the next book in this series about Myra and Major .
