Reagan has always been a strong, independent woman capable of taking care of herself. She’s got her own organic beauty product store, a love of whiskey and sports, and thinks recycling should be mandatory worldwide. Since she was a teenager, there’s always been a bitter place in her heart toward a particular mechanic in town. Somehow this man makes her blood boil, and at the same time, softens all her hard edges.

Chance Foret certainly earned his title as the bad boy of Grace High School. After breaking Reagan’s heart—and taking her virginity— Chance disappears for two years, only returning to take over the family business, Grace Garage. Years later he’s still pining over the girl that got away, but she’s too stubborn to give them another shot.

When Reagan decides to expand her business online, Chance steps up to help. Working together on this project keeps them closer than ever. Reagan tries to stay strong, but Chance is not the boy she remembers. This love/hate relationship could bring them together like the sweetest essential oil or blow up like a faulty engine.
