Struggled to chew through this one. I am always in awe of anyone who writes anything without an editor and bares their hard work online for any and all to review or critique. One can tell this emerging author truly tried, including adding some atmosphere and adjectives here and there to the story. I hadn’t come across this trope quite yet either, so kudos for some creativity. This work is still just a degree better than some of the worst published books I’ve had the unfortunate experience of reading.

On a personal note, it pains me to say the characters and plot fell on the side of trite and insipid. Nevertheless, I hope the author learns from his/her writing for the future.

It was interesting at first but there isn’t really a plot. The fic is mainly about the bond. The only character that had any sort of development was Lucius. I was also kinda bummed Theo was pretty much ignored for the last half of the fic. This one was kinda boring- and at times I was confused- the school year went way too fast and I kinda despise fics where everyone gets along the whole time- even the Harry and Ron scene was brushed over. I would’ve given this one star but I liked the beginning and I liked that Hermione pretty quickly accepted the soul bond and embraced it, I get frustrated by fics that drag out Hermione’s delusion too much. Oh and I liked the epilogue.

I am currently obsessed with any fic that has pureblood Hermione. Mostly her parents turn out to be Regulus and Marlene and I personally love it.

This fic was also good, and I really enjoyed it. As I read the end notes on each chapter, the conditions got worse for the author. I hope she is alright. I think I'm starting to believe the ao3 curse. And it's kinda deterring me from writing my own fic. But, hopefully one day I will finish it.

Shortly after the war has ended and Voldemort did lose, Hermione finds out a secret about her parantage that turns her whole world upside-down.
She isn't the Muggleborn that she always thought she was, her parents aren't even her real parents. She is in fact a Nott. Sister to Theodore Nott and daughter of the notorious Deatheater that killed his wife.
With him behind bars, she and Theo get to know eachother better and form a bond that only siblings can. Unfortunately the more time she spends with Theo, the more she has to hang out with his friends also.
Not understanding the "pureblood" traditions she accidentally ends up being engaged to Draco Malfoy, with no means to get out of the engagement.

What will happen when the whole world finds out the truth? How will Hermione balance her former life with that of "Hermione Nott"?
