Loving Violet

Rate this book
"The moment I knew I love V wasn’t when she saved my life that night, or when she got a new set of teeth, or when her hip started to get wider. I mean, I’ve always known that I love V. I hated seeing her upset and I never wanted to see her cry. I thought that was just me turning into a real brother, caring for his sister. But it’s not until the day that Kyle Rogers entered her life that I knew… I am in love with V."

Told in a span of six years, it is a story about a troubled boy and an oblivious girl whose lives will never be the same when fate brought them together and made them step-siblings. Josh started out not wanting to have anything to do with his new annoying step-sister, but before he knows it, he can't seem to stop thinking about Violet even when it's clear she does not and would not reciprocate the feelings. What follows is a heartbreaking story about two people who want different things, which can only mean that either everyone gets a happy ending, or no one gets out of the mess unscathed.
