This is the prequel to the Fabled Quest Chronicles, and if you have read or are in the process of reading the series, you will thoroughly enjoy this.

I know it says #0.5 in the title, however, if you read this first it is not going to hit you just how different Traveler is from the caravan master 'norm'. So, I would suggest reading a bit of the series first.

Here, the reader learns why Traveler is so knowledgeable about being a caravan master, and all the trials and tribulations that befall beings on their way to Atlantea. The young Traveler within these pages is persistent with his questioning. He wants to know every piece of information he can possibly get that could save lives along the Trail.

As he is polite, respectful, reserved, and determined, he is taken on journeys, and introduced to languages and cultures that no human has ever had access to before.

It's a very entertaining piece of work which highlights the amazing drive Traveler has, even as a youngster, and he is like a sponge when it comes to understanding and healing creatures out with humankind. Fabulously full of all kinds of fae and other creatures, and up to Austin Dragon's usual high standard.

Quest Master - a review by Rosemary Kenny

9 year old Traveler aspires to join any caravan going to Atlantea and improves his healing skills every time...until some enchantment or magical predator destroys each, one after the other.

Ten years pass and despite many dangers and adventures, Traveler has not only survived, but has acquired much experience and knowledge as a healer and expands his understanding of how caravans work, (or fail).
He also acquires his shapeshifter companion, who appears in a variety of forms, but mainly as a black fox or dog.

Who rescues him from a vicious attack?
What do they teach him?
When does he become a caravan/quest master?

An exciting adventure that introduces Traveler from childhood to his twenties and finally achieving a goal he ever dared to believe he could.
Austin Dragon continues his magnificent Titan's Trail arc with a tantalising, nail-biting prequel that's worthy of Game of Thrones, or similar TV/film sword-and-sorcery epics.
Get this 5 🌟(at least) epic saga as soon as possible - miss it and you'll miss out on a great novel that guarantees satisfaction from the start!

This book is simply amazing! This authour has a skill like no one else in weaving plots, motives, characters of all kinds in a way that I couldn’t put the book down. I was entertained, enthralled, terrified, delighted, I laughed, was shocked and best of all thoroughly entertained. I cannot praise this book highly enough. Don’t miss it.

A Fantastical Read

It's a good story where we see how Traveller came to be the person he is ,and how he would use this knowledge to survive the Titans Trail and grow as a person.
Can't wait for further adventures from this series.

Exceptional

A prequel in which we find out about Traveler. He was a precocious child with a thirst for knowledge, an aptitude for healing, and the ability to land on his feet. All of these qualities make him into an exceptional Quest Matter.

This fills in the gaps of how traveller came to be. It shows vulnerbility, weakness made strong with persistance and how he became who he was. Another great story from the master storyteller.

Quest Master Prequel

A really well done prequel that answers all the questions I had after reading the Fabled Quest Chronicles. I hope there are more Quests to come.
