She’s a serious painter. He’s a cocky photographer making too much noise in the studio next door. She thinks he’s an idiot, he can’t stand her but when the tension between them borders on passion they both start to feel something real.
This is a romance novella. If you are looking for a quick read, this hot, swoony, romance is for you! Each book in the Q&D: Neighbors series is a stand-alone story.
Published since 2012, Kate Roth is addicted to all things romance. Her passion for love stories, both traditional and unconventional, has led her to write in various sub-genres of romance including New Adult, Paranormal and Erotica. Kate is inspired by everything from music to the real-life romance tales she's heard through her years as a professional hair stylist.
One thing is certain, Kate Roth writes steamy connections, sassy dialogue, and strong heroines & heroes.
Kate spends her time away from the keyboard with her insta-love husband, Adam and their faithful pound puppy, Sampson.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
She's a serious painter. He's a cocky photographer making too much nosie in the studio next door. She think he's an idiot. He can't stand her. But when the tension between them borders on passion they both start to feel something real.
This is the fourth book in the Quick and Dirty Series from Kate Roth. Each of these books is a novella. They are too instalove stories. I loved this story between Belle and Gray. She is a very serious painter and he is a photographer. Their studios are next door to each other. When Gray's music is so loud that Belle can not hear herself things she goes to tell him to turn it down. When she sees Gray there is an immediate attraction until a half naked model throws her arm around him and asks him to come back. This leads to harsh comments at a showing of their art and they learn they can't stand each other. However that is not all there is to their story. You have to read the book to find out what really happens between these two. I have really enjoyed all the quick and dirty stories in this series and am sad to see it end. If you are looking for quick getaways from your day to just escape for a couple of hourse then the Quick and Dirty Series is one you do not want to miss.
The fourth and final novella in the Quick & Dirty series. The whole series about neighbors and the naughty things they can get up to. Belle and Grey are both artists, one with paint and the other with a camera. One needs peace and quiet while the other likes his music loud. The two don't exactly hit it off at first, but one night without power and the two come together and sparks fly.
This was the perfect lunch time read! Quick and naughty, with just a hit of drama. I give this 4 stars.
Real is another great read from the Quick & Dirty: Neighbors Series by Kate Roth. As the series title suggests its a quick read with some steamy bits. An enemies to lovers read, this is definitely my favorite in the Series.
This novella is the story of Belle asnd Gray, neighboring artists, both hunting inspiration. Inspiration that neither can achieve while full of hate for the other.
I received a copy of this book for an honest review.
OH please tell me this is not the last book in this series. I have so enjoyed these quick and dirty stories. This one was just as great as the others.
Belle and Grey are both accomplished artists. Grey is a photographer and Belle a painter who both have studios in the same building. Belle and Grey rubbed each other the wrong way in the first few encounters they had. Belle thought Grey was a British Idiot and Grey didn’t think too highly of her either.
However, when the lights go out in the studio one night it is Grey to the rescue when Belle screams. With the lights out Belle and Grey have time alone together they start to realize they may have been wrong about the other when they start to open up.
It is easy to make snap judgements about someone but it is amazing when you give them a chance to show you the real person they are and you realize you may have wrong. You never know what another person has been through in their life and why they hide who they really are until you give them a chance.
This series was great. All the books in this series were filled with hot steamy insta-love that I enjoyed reading and will read again.

This is the final book in the Quick and Dirty series of novellas from Kate. I gotta say, it was the shortest, but I think it had the most intense emotions by one of the characters. Belle and Grey are both such passionate artists who use different canvases but who also can’t seem to stand the other. They both do things to piss the other off and cause some pretty petty and unkind words to be shared during a gallery event. A storm and power outage force the two to spend sometime together when they both begin to see the other for what they really are. Belle shuts down on Grey but when she reopens, we see the hurt and pain in her past and understand her a little bit more. This was a great final addition to the series of hawt and naughty neighbor stories.
Belle thinks of herself as a serious painter, but her next door neighbour is a cocky photographer who is getting on her last nerve. A And the same goes for Gray he really can't stand his next door neighbour. But when there is a power failure and he hears he screaming what else can he do but run to her rescue. So maybe they didn't hate each other too much
This hot and steamy insta series was just what I needed after the week I had. Quick and dirty novella will have you got and bothered the moment you start reading☺️
This was story 4 in the Quick & Dirty: Neighbors series. Belle Porter is a painter and her neighbor is Grayson (Gary) Bennett and a photographer. Gary gets on Belle’s nerve with his loud bumping music and annoying perfect models. After a couple harsh exchanges a black out and group of thunderstorms bring the pair together, they get the chance to expose their true selves to each other and it blossoms into love. With a happy ending in the epilogue it was a sweet read, very quick. By Tiffany
Title: Real (Quick & Dirty: Neighbors Book 4) Author: Kate Roth Genre: Contemporary Romance Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ARC read in return for an honest review.
This is a story of what happens when hate and hate collide, causing erupting emotions to become something very Real!
They may differ yet they’re both artistic people, Grayson’s a hot photographer whilst Belle’s an artist, an angry one at that, she’s having difficulty concentrating on her work thanks to the loud music coming from the studio next to hers, she’s not going to put up with it though, she decides to fight back which catches Greyson’s attention, he may be intrigued but that doesn’t mean he likes her and that’s fine as she thinks he a bit of an idiot, with tension growing between the pair they walk along that famous fine line between love and hate.
Read this quick, hot and novella to see how Grayson and Belle go from disliking one another to their feelings taking a passionate turn and becoming REAL for the pair.
Kate has done it again, 5 stars for this fantastic addition to her Quick and Dirty series.
Two artists. Professional artist studios. Loud music. One hot, British photographer, Grayson. One angry artist, Belle. Belle can't concentrate on her painting given the loud music. She fights back with burnt popcorn and pounding on the wall. Grayson is intrigued until Belle insults his work. A patch of extreme weather puts Belle in Gray's orbit where, maybe, they have a chance appease their passionate anger. This hate-hate relationship is about to steam up!
Real is my second favorite in this series of four hot & steamy novellas. I loved the characters in this short story and I definitely side with Belle on my fear of thunderstorms. (:::bites nails:::) This is a quick, hot novella to read on any summer night! You never know, it might get you in the mood. Kate really rocks it with Real! 5 stars!
Belle just wanted some peace and quite in her perfect studio workspace to make the perfect art piece. But when the photographer next door keeps his music up loud and the giggles from his models keep sneaking through the walls Belle has had enough. Gray comes off as a smug guy who can get any girl he wants and his British accent helps melts some of their panties off but when he finally gets a glimpse of the neighbor and then she slashes his work, he don’t know if he will be a to get her off his mind. Will these two see eye to eye and make it to where they can work next door to each other or will they have more between them then just doors and walls. This short story was so good just the right amount of annoyance and flirty play with a whole bunch of sexy chemistry.
I think this was my favorite of this series. The connection between Belle and Gray was immediate, and their stories touched me deeply. Love the second time round helps bring life back to these two, especially Belle. This was a quick read, but I felt like I got to know these wonderful characters.
I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
Kate Roth is rounding out the short but packing a mega punch Quick and Dirty Neighbors novella series with REAL and what a hot little book this was y'all. A great enemies to lovers story that'll have you reaching for a fan, rooting for Belle & Gray, and moving lightening speed fast through the pages to find their happy ending.
Roth did a good job with this one and it might just be my very favorite in this series.
I love this series so hard right now. This time my book boyfriend is a yummy photographer! Crap! Yummers! He is the jerk next door but then the fire starts to burn and boom! HAWTNESS in it's best form! Like all of the others in the Q&D: Neighbors series, this is a panty-melting one!
These are quick steamy reads... they are exactly like the series says Quick and Dirty but fun to read. Sadly this is the last one. This one was a enemies to lovers Belle and Gray meet when he drives her nuts with his loud music. Both are looking for inspiration and Belle is struggling with her past. They struggle to find come ground but when they do they both grow so much.
And people say art or artist are sexy. Kate proved them wrong with Gray and his smirk and strong desire to please the woman who saw Grayson. I am such a huge fan of the Quick & Dirty series that I want them to continue. All walks of live coming together as an introduction of being neighbors.
