The heroine:Sawyer - she is a kindergarten teacher who finds her fiancé balls deep in his best man and walks out on him, speeding away from him to put as much space between her and her fiancé as possible. She gets into an accident on the highway and wakes up to find she has been abducted by aliens.
The Hero(es):Haelian - second in command to General (and Prince) Kloran of the Lunarian warriors. Since Kloran found his fated mate in a human woman who was abducted from her planet against her wishes, he has sent Haelian after the group who had been illegally taking human females off their planet. Haelian has been made General since the prince has stayed on Lunaria with his mate and daughter.
The Story: Haelian found the group who had been abducting females from earth and selling them as slaves at auction. He found out that they were also giving the pick of each shipment of females to the Rutharians in exchange for being left alone by the evil Rutharians who are the scourge of the universe. General Haelian has found that three females from Earth have been given to the Rutharians and he and his men plan to sneak aboard the Rutharian ship to free the women.
Some of the standard alien romance tropes are used in this series (especially the one where there are almost no females left in the Lunarian species and they need to find women of other species to bear their children so that their species doesn’t die out completely). Though I was happy to see that in this series, the Lunarian warriors actually wear clothes instead of traveling through space in loincloths like many of the other series I have read. As much as I love the “D”, I really do like men in clothes.
Like the first, this book was told in dual points of view and via dual narration, where the male narrator does the chapters in Haelian’s point of view (including the female lines) and the female narrator does the narration on all of the chapters in Sawyers point of view. The narrations were Sierra Kline and Logan McAllister. The both have very pleasant voices that work well for these characters and I enjoyed listening to them.
I liked the storyline in this book a bit better than the first book. Haelian is a great heroic character. In the first book, I loved the way he was so focused on stopping the abduction and sale of humans even before he found that human females can procreate with Lunarians. Sawyer is a strong female lead and an interesting character as well.
This was so much better then the first book. The story is about Sawyer who finds out her fiancé is again cheating on her and in her rush to get away from their home she gets into an accident. The next time she wakes up she finds herself cold in a small cell with man looking like demons. Another woman there tells her she has been sold as a sex slave. Luckily she gets rescued by some other species. Her savior being Healion who swor to himself to never have a mate but can’t deny that he is very attracted to the rescued female. I like both characters so much. Sawyer is a strong woman and I like how feisty she is sometimes. Healion on the other hand is kind cute and I like how he adores her right from the start but also battles with himself because he doesn’t want a mate. They were very cute together and while it took them longer to actually be together the rest of their story goes pretty smooth. There is no bad feelings between them. Of course there happens other exciting stuff and I general I enjoyed this story. I also like that it got left quite open since the overall story is being continued in the next book, maybe books. This was a great read. Now I am curious about Nions story. He is a character I came to like a lot in this second book.
Strong storyline, universe and characters - highly recommend this story and series
Written for mature readers only (18+ years old) due to subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, adult intimate scenes and violence.
While this could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend it be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers as there are reoccurring characters and an overall storyline arc.
This series has a strong storyline and Roxie Ray built a highly defined story universe. Even though it is a male dominated world, the heroes in the story worship their human mates when they find them. It is their strong sense of integrity and duty, mixed along with a little bit of selfish hope for more children / cubs, that lead the Lumarians to try and rescue the human females.
In this story, Haelian has been newly promoted to General and appointed to lead a mission to rescue three human females that their intelligence sources were able to verify is aboard their enemy’s ship. Haelian decides to be part of the boarding party to rescue the females. When they get to the cells, most appear to be empty, but finally they locate them. Nion’s rescue is an older female that is awake and is fighting him. She scratches his face on both sides before he can sedate her. The other female is not awake and has already been picked up.
Haelian approaches the last cell and the female appears to be less damaged than the older one, but doesn’t seem like she is alive. He immediately feels a pull toward her and is scared for some reason until he can confirm a pulse. He knew they had to hurry, so he picked her up and they all started on their way back to the ship. A fight ensues, but ultimately Haelian and his warriors are successful and make it back to their smaller craft.
The human female woke up while they were fighting their way back to the ship, but she must have realized that they were trying to rescue them, as she nestled back into his chest. This did something to Haelian and he wanted to claim her and keep her, but he had planned to never take a mate after seeing the example set by his parents. Maybe she could make him change his mind ...
This novel was cleanly written and edited, with few typos that I caught in the ARC version of this manuscript. The characterization was competent, with both hero and heroine being sympathetic individuals. The development of the romantic relationship was fairly natural and organic, and this novel uses my favorite hero type, of a man who sees the heroine and immediately goes, "MINE!" This hero is willing to commit. The plot and pacing is exciting, making me turn the pages quickly to find out what was going to happen next. The fact that all the people in power turned against human women so dramatically, considering that their species is on the verge of extinction and human women are the solution, seemed a little unbelievable. There is very little angst in this novel and very high stakes, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel uses the Love at First Sight trope, the Mars Needs Women trope, and the Human Trafficking trope so popular in sci-fi romance novels. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship rated four stars. The plot and pacing rated four stars. The world building rated three stars. Therefore, the combined score of this novel is four stars. This novel ends on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus for this novel. I recommend this sci-fi romance to readers who enjoy the Mars Needs Women trope. I will not be buying myself a keeper copy of this novel, though I enjoyed it.

ONE HIGH OCTANE ADVENTURE!!! Ah crap! Roxie rocks this baby to the core, presenting one arresting storyline and engaging plot, presenting such acumen, imagination, immense passion and unique insight, meshing this sparkling gem together sleek, shiny and tight. One action packed hard hitting pulse racing heart pounding adrenaline pumping block busting delight, propels this bad boy to life brilliantly. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and depictions creating a colorful backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Remarkable job Roxie, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.
I really enjoyed reading this fascinating Sci-fi alien romance. The plot is well-written & filled with some unusual situations & unexpected events. The characters are well-developed complex individuals & react with realistic emotions to the unconventional circumstance they find themselves in & try to adjust to the best of their ability. There is: a young female kindergarten teacher (Sawyer) betrayed by her unfaithfully fiancé (Aiden) somehow crashes with her car into something then wakes up on a alien slaver’s spaceship & is rescued by another group of aliens of which one of them (General Haelian Mihor) is highly protective towards her but she will have to make a decision between returning to earth & a new future with Haelian on a alien planet, brutal evil aliens (Rutharian), alien warriors (Lunaria), a vengeful intelligence agent (Apex), various kinds of aliens, a high council, humans, abduction, slavery, drama, intrigue, adventure, action, threats, danger, violence, conflict, enemies, traitors, politics, deceit, betrayal, manipulations, devious intentions, disagreements, attractions, friendship, verbal banter, confrontations, suspicions, dissatisfaction, jealousy, surprises, compromises, contentment, love, some steam & a satisfying conclusion for this couple with a interesting ending.
Rescue Mission, traitors and betrayals in the midst.
After General Kloran wedded Bria and had a daughter, he passes his military mantle over to his next in line, Haliean, to run rescue missions after they found how Bria came to be in the slave auction. General Haliean led a stealth mission to board a Rutharian dreadnought ship and managed to steal away 3 humans caged there. Sawyer was the human Haliean plucked from the cage while his 3 other soldiers helped retrieve 2 other humans and fight off Rutharians when they were detected. They all return to Lutharia, but 2 humans in stasis for the return were both inconsolable when brought out of stasis, which in turn became murder-suicide and 2 healers dead. Shortly after, Sawyer and Haliean both are targeted by traitors in the palace, someone who tried to convince her to return to Earth and when that failed, forcing said traitor to bring in Rutharians to land on Lutharia - past all their securities while making escape to save themselves. Battle won, but war is just starting.....
I give this 5 cups of steaming java, ☕☕☕☕☕. Well written and smooth reading filled with action, battle, and humor...of course - love.
This book was interesting, fast moving and really well done. I really enjoyed the way the characters interacted- I loved Haelian and Sawyer was a strong female character. Haelian was in charge of finding 3 abducted women from the Rutharians, a horrible alien race. Once Haelian sees Sawyer (who was abducted while escaping from her fiance who was cheating on her) he wanted her. But he still treated her so well without pushing her. (By the way, the discussion between him and the Lunarian doctor about what human women want in a relationship was hilarious) And there was a lot of action as the Rutharians made their horrible presence known and kept trying to get the human women back. I wanted to keep listening.
The audiobook was narrated by Sierra Kline and Logan McAllister, who also narrated the first book. Both were really good at playing multiple characters. In the last book, I felt like Logan McAlister may have overexaggerated certain roles. Not so for this one- he did a great job. I enjoyed this audiobook a lot and look forward to reading or listening to the next book.
Earth has become a world divided by class sectors. Human women have been abducted by aliens without earth knowing anything about it. Breeders are sought out across galaxies when Lunarians are looking to strengthen their numbers due to a decline in female mates. Now the Lunarians have seen exactly how human women have been treated by those who kidnapped them and seek to find them and give them a new home in the hopes they will all find the one. But there is danger not only from those of other planets but within their own walls.
I enjoyed the story and felt for the characters as you can see both sides of the coin. There is action, intrigue, pain, suffering, hope, politics and love to be found among the pages.
When a human is involved they will do anything to make them theirs. However, the chemistry explodes, making them confront there are feelings just waiting to be explored. As their connection simmers dangerously close to the surface, they must decide if it is worth the risks that come with uncovering their true desires.
A quick read to take you from reality for a few hours.
Sawyer couldn't believe her fiance would put her through this again she was so done with him the only thing that matter was leaving jumping into her car Sawyer is half way to her parents home when something hits her car out of nowhere. To say her life to a drastic change would be the understatement of the year after all the universe doesn't hand out signs proclaiming danger ahead dummy. As Haelian and the others quickly searched the cells that's when he saw her with her pale gold hair all he want was to protect her after all the things there enemies had do to these women made him angry it made him really angry. Sawyer seemed to have a hard time processing all the rapid changes and it totally overwhelmed her. Haelian knew he'd have to face several unpleasant obstacles to achieve what he desired most. The instant Haelian finally has Sawyer where he dreams of having her ignites them both with results stronger than a supernova exploding.

Making her his own was beyond his dreams! by sewsummore
The last thing Sawyer remembered when she woke up was cashing her car but, that didn't explain the situation she found herself in. Captured by aliens and shackled in a cell with two other women, she was the latest female to join an alien harem. Fortunately, rescue came quickly in the form of more alien warriors from a planet named Lunaria. It was General Haelian that carried her to freedom, a man who promised her safety, and that was what she needed most. I found this an exciting read about Sawyer and Haelian's relationship. He was not a man who had ever expected to take a mate for himself, but Sawyer made him yearn for things he never expected to want or find in his life. That she grew to care for him was just as surprising as finding her, making her his own was beyond his dreams.

Rescued by the warrior Lord: Lunarian Warriors Book 2 By Roxie Ray Kindle unlimited purchase Human females have been abducted from Earth. Now it is the Lunarian's honor to rescue them from the Rutharians. Sawyer is planning her wedding, when she forget something at home and gets the shock of her life. Driving to her mother's she she gets into a car a accident, and the reat as they say his history. This is Haelian's first mission since he was promoted. I loveed book 1 and knew the rest of the series would be just as good as book 1, and this book did not disappoint.sorry to say this book is for readers over 18. It's just to HOT. Abducted by the Warrior Prince Rescued by the warrior Lord Saved By The Warrior Arrow Her healing Warrior Her secret Champion Sep 19, 2020.
When you feel like your life is falling apart, well . . . it just may be. Her wedding was coming up quickly, she had a great job she loved, her family was wonderful – and then she caught her fiancé in bed with another woman. Thinking that was as bad as things could get, she wakes up on a slaver’s ship in space! Even when rescue came, she wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not!
The simple choice about returning to Earth was getting complicated as Sawyer started to fall for her rescuer, Haelian. He wasn’t as impassive as she had assumed. When she started to see beneath what he shows others, she begins to think about a future and family with him. Does he feel the same? Is there a chance for them to find a HEA?
I received this audiobook free for an honest review as a member of the Pink Flamingo Productions Review Team. This is the second book in a great series and a standalone. Sawyer left a terrible situation only to wind up in a terrible situation. She finds her fiance cheating on her and is stolen by aliens to be a sex slave. She is then saved by other aliens where she meets General Halien. Romance picks up with their relationship. The author(s) write(s) a quality story that keeps you on the edge of your seat. You definitely can't stop listening until it ends. The narrators are excellent. They do an awesome job with the characters, their personalities and the overall story. Looking forward to the release of the next book in this series.
A pretty light romp as human Sawyer was abducted and subjected to abuse by the evil and brutal Rutharians. Saved and rescued by Haelian, a General of high ranking from a more humane race, Sawyer was beyond confused. She took the whole alien race and war thing in stride as one dramatic event after another came hurtling her way. Her attraction and growing relationship with Haelian was sweet with alien scenes that were graphically sensual. Lots of action, betrayal, and alien politics that continued throughout the storyline.

I quickly realized that there was at least one book in the series before this one after I started reading it. I normally would stop and read the book(s) before this one but decided what the hell it worked out well for me the last time I didn't go with my OCD. It worked too, I really enjoyed read this book. There were plot twists and turns that I didn't expect like a traitor instead of a tracking chip. Yes I know it's probably not called a tracking chip but its after 7 in the morning and I haven't slept yet so bite me. Good book, going to go back and read the first book and then the third when it comes out!
Rescued By The Warrior Lord: Lunarian Warriors (2)
I bought book 1 in this series cos it really appealed, was a change from what I'd been reading. Besides I do quite like Sci Fi. Really enjoyed it, but then went back to what I'd been reading. Decided "won't hurt to look at the rest of the series" then "maybe just one more" I bought the series didn't I? knew I would once started book 1, don't know why I kidded myself, so far 2 excellent books and now building an on going storyline that makes me glad don't need to keep looking for the rest, cos I know I'm gonna read and enjoy the lot loving it Sue P
Rescued By The Warrior Lord, 2nd book in the Lunarian Warriors Series is a well-written love story that is heavy in Action and little on the dark side. The characters are exceptionally written and you feel what the character feels. You get pulled this way and that, and their chemistry is exceptional. This story has action, drama, intrigue and romance. A must read Alien Romance in which he has to decide whether he will act on his feelings.

This is book 2 of the Lunarian Warriors and I’m loving this series. Sawyer catches her fiancé cheating again so she jumps in her car and ends up in a crash when she wakes up Sawyer finds herself on an alien slavers ship, she is rescued by a band of aliens and when Haelian see’s Sawyer he wants to claim her but it’s not going to be so easy for Haelian when Sawyer wants to go back to earth. Fantastic action packed with adventure, suspense, danger, passion and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I loved the way this story flowed so easily from one awful experience to another. The plot is fast paced and character driven and completely addictive. There are some sluggish parts that re heavily descriptive but they don't detract from the enjoyment of the reading. Sawyer had THE worst luck and the best luck simultaneously. You know, like it was the worst of times, it was the best of times kind of way. I am stuck on this series and can hardly wait to read the next one.
Book two of the Lunarian Warriors series a good story that kept me turning pages. This is mainly Sawyer Aniston and General Haelian Mihor's story with Nion as a secondary player, I wonder if the next book will be his. There is kidnapping, drama, danger, suspense, evil Rutharian, a evil Lady Idria, traitors, and romance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Hallion feels something for the human female he rescued from the beginning. He believes he doesn't want to have a mate , so it couldn't be love. Sawyer finds out the Lunerians need females and accused him of liking her for her womb. She then finds out she can't go back to earth, her family believes she is dead. She fall in love with the warlord but does he live her? Will they mate and have a family?
Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and raw passion, strength, happiness with a happily ever after. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed. Thank you for allowing me to review your book.

Amazingly imaginative and compelling drama caught up among the stars. Rosie Ray once again gives her readers another fantastic tale of romance, action and unstoppable adventure in storytelling. This second installment in the blockbuster tale of Lunarian Warriors Book 2 is filled with drama and suspense surrounding the characters. A excellent fantasy about the struggles of the Lunarian Warriors and the earth women they rescue from slavers! A great read.
It was a excellent book, I love the adventure, I like it that they are trying to safe all the humans that are kidnapped from earth, I’m glad that are some Aliens who are good and do not want to slave them. I love the way they treat the women and how easy they fall in love. I’ll recome to this book, because it has a lot adventure and how good they are with the humans women. Thanks Roxie Ray for writing this asome book.
I loved book 1, so went straight to book 2. I have to say I didn’t like the female lead in this book for the first half of the book every time it was from her POV all she did was go over what we already knew. it seemed liked she just kept repeating herself! The book definitely picked up in the second half. This series is also a bit pricey. Would consider book 3 if it goes down in price but not paying £5 for a book I’m not sure I’m going to enjoy after this one was a bit disappointing.
Definitely recommend this book!!! If you enjoy aliens and romance books then this is for you. There is adventure and fighting to protect their loved ones. Of course there is betrayal behind the scenes. I can honestly say this is a must get and cannot wait until I get my next credit. Narrators did a great job and the only thing that bothered me was the lisping sound of the male but I ignored it and enjoyed the book overall it.
DNF 72%. I really pushed through the first one by this one… was a nope. The way they talk, the way the characters describe themselves and others… the main male character commented that his COUSIN was wearing a sexy seductive outfit at one point. In both books they referred to 💦 as their honey and I gagged each time. 🤮 The main male character in both the first and second book are deceptive and not in a morally gray way.
