While on his way back to Chicago with a load of meat, The Outrider learns that a town called Almost Normal was hit by slavers. Most of the people were taken to a slave camp to be sold. The Outrider has been to Almost Normal in the past and he wants revenge.

This one was not as good as the first two in this short series, but it didn't fall to short of the mark. This series has some wild characters in it. This one introduced us to "The Lash Of The Little People." A biker gang made up of angry violent dwarfs. Pretty wild stuff. This and the first two books are worth looking for.

Continuing on with book three there is no let up in the action.

and as always:

As an artist I have thought about storyboarding this book, and creating some sort of graphic novel just as a labor of love not for money.

I can even fantasize myself as the hero of this book, playing it out as if I were some sort of action hero movie star.

Through the technology of online purchases I was able to obtain all five books from this series.

I like to binge watch a series as much as anyone, but I also like to binge read a series that I enjoy.

I was thoroughly entertained with this story line and the way the author presented it, I take the premise at face value and do not nit-pick any details.

I was able to vicariously live out this post apocalyptic adventure series, not that it was so richly written but because it gave me an opportunity to flesh out and watch with my mind’s eye as I was transported to a time when violent survival ruled the continent.

Book three in the Outrider series. Blood Highway is definitely the most violent and mature of the series so far. Our hero Bonner, is taking a break from chasing down the main villain, Leather in this book, but instead hunting down a new boss. The leader of the Devils. Without giving spoilers, Bonner runs into some friends of his past, and these series of events, is what leads us in a new direction.

This book is nonstop action, and around page 100, the book never stops till the end. If you thought the first two books were violent, just get ready. Very mature content and graphic scenes are plentiful in this one. I would say this is the best of the series thus far. 5 stars.

Bonner is back in the hero business. The last peaceful, undiscovered settlement in North America is discovered by slavers from the Hot States. The slavers destroy the town, round up the citizens, and march them off to their slave farm. Bonner teams up with a little person biker gang, Lash of the Little People, to rescue the captives.
