Second Read Review: I upped this by a star upon my second pass. Reading these volumes spaced out made it hard to keep characters straight and to see how the plot lines work together. It is definitely more cohesive upon a second read. I still have some issues with the series, but it is much more enjoyable this time around.

Original Review: Not much new to say compared to the other three volumes. It saves itself from one star because of the concept, but the execution and unnecessary misogyny needs work.

This volume saw a significant slip in quality. The action was too unfocused and the plot began to get a little bit too muddled.

Despite building on the cliffhanger of the last volume, and introducing a new aspect of Shuichi's abilities, Gleipnir continues to be aggressively mediocre. Claire's motivation for finding her sister has evolved somewhat as well, but it just isn't enough to keep me interested. She and Shuichi are now part of a group of Collectors who seem pretty dysfunctional--and at least one of which actively hates them. I'm pretty sure I can see the backstab coming from a mile away.

What started out as an interesting and weird concept about people getting superpowers from coins (whether they wanted them or not), has devolved into nameless monsters killing each other in the woods. It's not quite into monster of the week territory yet, but it's pretty close. The action's fine for what it is, and the art is still good in a rough sort of way, but the straight-up averageness of what Gleipnir has become is just not what I'm looking for right now.

Mal sehen was da noch kommt

There were a few moments in the last volume (3) that really were striking. There was one really interesting spot in this one, but then I also was a little bored with the battles and such. Not totally looking for an action battle find rewards type book. I’m not sure if I will keep going on this, although I did enjoy vol 1-3.

Thought this volume was a great improvement compared to the others a lot less nudity still a bit to much which is why it’s at four stars but I thought other than that the way the plot has unraveled and how there still so much building to be done on the characters is just great.
