HELLstalkers #1

Hellstalkers: The Cerberus Protocol

Rate this book
On November 23rd, scientists at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland ran a short test on the newly completed Large Hadron Collider. For that brief period, protons swarmed back and forth along the seventeen miles of carefully constructed tunnel and slammed into each other with devastating force, generating power the likes of which had not been seen since the moment of the Big Bang.

Just a few short hours.

That was all it took for our world to be invaded.

My name is Captain Memphis Stone, commander of the Hellstalkers, the armed response unit hastily assembled to face this growing threat.

This is the story of the men and women under my command, those who stand in the gap and shed their blood to protect the rest of humanity from creatures that we never imagined we’d ever face, not even in our darkest dreams.

Welcome to the front lines.

Short Thriller

I’d heard good reviews about this series but was left disappointed threw the novel that finished in 30 mins. There was too mugh macho thinking and over abundance of luck in Stone’s favor that I good not see him surviving with that lack of kill or die mentality of senior soldiers but stones was was a complete novice with expertise that came more mad at every turn and the random romance subplot was completely idiotic has just happened with no foreshadowing. Then there was a the lack of chacthers building that most just seemed 2D with no idea into there thoughts on things only what they’ve said.

Captain Memphis Stone first encounter with a rift and it's strange creatures, does not go well. His team lost and drummed out of the army, he is recruited to be commander of the Hellstalkers. There mission to close the rifts and protect the planet! Good story and introduction, hopefully it will continue in to book two and we learn more about the team.

Pretty good book, not sure what I think of the main character but I will have to read on.

Pretty good book, fast paced interesting premise, getting to know the characters. Have to read the next book to find out what I really think of the series.

Great Start

Looking for action nd otherworldly creatures look no further. A little cookie cutter in its formula but well written and worth the read.

I'd give this a miss

The whole thing lacks detail, lacks character development. The idea for the story is sound but the execution is really poor
