I got this book as a gift, but I would have bought it anyway because of my high regard for its author Dr. Rodney Hogue. Jesus has given us authority to stop the devil in his tracks. This book exposes the devil’s tricks and shows us how to overcome them, using that authority, in order to lead lives that are free from demonic influences that affect countless numbers of us, often without our being fully aware of it. Not a manual on deliverance, this is a practical guide to identifying demonic activity, both obvious and subtle, and ridding yourself and others from it. The enemy wants you to see yourself defeated and powerless. Liberated will help you discover how to see yourself the way God sees you—free, successful and victorious in your calling and destiny. It’s an easy-to-read book full of Dr. Hogue’s insightful wisdom and humor. And believe it or not, the appendices alone are worth the price of the book! I recommend it for all readers, Christian or not.

Man, did I need this book. Yes it’s a book on the supernatural part of the world. Yes it’s tackled the issues of the demonic. But this isn’t a book on exorcism, rather it’s a book on deliverance from strongholds.
Relatively short, it’s incredibly accessible and extremely practical. It outlines the lies that the enemy places in front of us and ways to not only avoid them but tear down the strongholds themselves.
Then it goes one step further by encouraging/educating you on how to rebuild a godly stronghold right in the spot where Jesus conquered the enemy for you.
I’m gonna read it again. It’s powerful.

I write and underline my non-fiction books. In this book, I drew hearts. Sounds weird for a book essentially about casting out demons, right? Well, this book was really about LOVE for people. And how God’s heart is to see is living in FREEDOM, HEALING and peace and joy and all the good things you can think of.
There are no exorcist stories in this book, it’s not creepy, it’s not wild or weird. It’s about how God is bigger, more loving, more intimately aware of our struggles, more ready to work and do on our behalf than we can imagine.
The 2nd half of the book and appendices are absolute gold with plans, prayers and details on how to renew your mind, fill up the emptiness with God’s Truth and live in the freedom God has. If you walk throughout the steps he lays out, you will see healing in your heart and life.
Highly recommend. But don’t go in thinking you are reading a self-help book or a Christian-lite book. This is real stuff in here.

So maybe some of my friends and family don't know this, but I actually have always fully believed in the spiritual / demonic realm being active in people's lives. Free fact for you.
As people who believe in God typically don't believe they can't be oppressed by demons, that was something I always disagreed with.
So when this was available from the LIBRARY of all places... I couldn't resist. It's a really, really good read, and I plan on purchasing a copy or two.
Definitely recommend!

best inner healing book
Easy to read. Practical. Informative. Short but to the point. Well worth your time. For those in ministry and those wanting more freedom to fulfill their destiny. Excellent.
