I love me some Trigga and Nia. I love how he knew he was t ready and rather than waste her time, he let her go. I loved that despite a relationship not working out they kept up a friendship. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

This is a banger!!! It kept me interested and most times on the edge of my seat. Alia's mom is hateful as hell. Bullet's growth was impressive, I'm still hopefull he and Ming will work everything out. Reese is afraid to love because of all the BS her mom taught her and showed her. Nia and Trigga belong together, I wonder if he'll ever tell her why he really broke up with her. I'm ready for pt2 great job🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Really a 4 1/2 star read....
This first intro book started it out so good and entertaining but as soon as they hit a four year later, it went slow, unreal and downright boring.
Sedona was fine and dandy. The perfect BFF and girlfriend, but because of one push, decides to walk away.. Only she jumped into so,etching worst.she was getting on my nerves with all of the explanation possible for Andre's behavior as well as hers. I truly was hoping that she looses Trigga in the process and stay by her damn self.
Madrid " Trigga" was truly bae but a little bit stupid and immature(at the beginning), and it was refreshing to hear how he realized that he dropped the ball and has been waiting on the sideline ever since. I do hope that he didn't become too soft and will let Trigga to come out and play.
Alia, man I truly don't know about her. I would like to simply believe that her mom's treatment is what had her head messed up and is about to lose the best thing that she could ever have and it is all on her.
Armory "bullet" is the jokester but the way that he stepped up to the plate was so pretty and all. He took it with a lot of stride and punches, but he came out on top.
Reese, man you so confused girl that truthfully I do wish that you stay just like that and become Lady part 2 because no one said for you to follow these steps. You could have broken the mold and push for something better, so man, give me a break with the sob story. Do not like her at all!
All of these characters were very intriguing and it's now time for karma to come through and make her visits and rounds because too many is roaming free with no worries. From Andre, to Canada, to Lady, to Aaron, to Mrs. Kat, to Ty.... Lynx seems to be a wonderful person, and so he needs to move on because where his at, he will be stuck...
Let's see how the finale is going to be!!!

Here I go again sliding down the wall…😩
Antoinette Sherell is always going to give you a story that evokes all kinds of emotions from you. The way I went from shaking my head, to tearing up, to surprise, to proudness and then disappointment then back to awe. Even the spicy scenes had me on the edge of my seat.
The story of three best friends, Sedonia, Reese and Alia who are struggling to find their place in the world. Young and curious they find themselves in some pretty rough scenarios.
Trigger and Bullet are young and grappling with watching their mom lose a little more life each day. The end is nearing…Trigger is taking care of everyone but barely able to breathe himself. Until he runs smack into Nia who restarts his cold, dark heart. Bullet meet Alia and when he thought it would just be a jumpoff, it became something entirely different.
Reese is just Reese. Neglected, unloved and has never had any guidance other than her mom telling her to get this money from me with her body. Until someone comes along that makes her question everything.

Antoinette Sherell is a one click author for me. I can’t recall a book she’s written that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. And this wasn’t the exception.
Now I knew something was going to pop off, because Ms. Ma’am doesn’t write easy peasy sweet stuff. And while there was a lot going on, it also seemed like there wasn’t a lot going on.
But oh girl! Things are about to pop off in book 2.
I need Reese to show her her worth and stop her from comparing herself to her friends. She only thinks the way she does because of her mom’s influence. Nia and Trig need to stop playing and love each other. Ming and Bullet need to follow the same advice.
Shonta, Duce, Ming’s parents and everyone else who’s trash need to get what they each deserve.
On to book 2.

This is a good one
I didn’t know what to expect but I do love an Antoinette Sherrell story and this one didn’t disappoint. I can’t wait for Dice to get his. He has too. Trigga has to do him real dirty. Penny and Madrid deserve a HEA. I hope Reese and Ming can make it through once that drama is found out. Poor Bullet. Ming just hurt him in the worse way. Heading right into part 2.

Oh what a story. Ming engaged. Reese wanna stop being a thot box and nia got a hit on her head. Boy oh boy. I feel like if Madrid was honest with nia front the moment he and her started dating they would of been together. Instead of just friends. Hopefully Ming get it together quick fast and in a hurry to be with bullet because I don’t want them with no one else.

Ms.Sherell plots and twists are something else. Love the development of the characters,legitimate businesses,college degrees but the immaturity of the men,except Madrid was disappointing.Typical behavior of your environment been your Achilles heel. Love the relationship between Nia and her mom,especially how she adopted Madrid,Bullet and Mei.

For a moment i was getting upset with Nia she was getting on my nerves acting slow. Madrid is everything! I’m pissed as hell at Alia and i want Bullet to really make her feel some type of way bc she been playing with his feelings! I wish Reese would get it together before she misses out on a good thing. I really hope part 2 focuses more on her.

So good!
I’m new to this author, but this booked had me finishing it in one day! This was so good and I’m glad I don’t have to wait for part 2, although I gladly would. I was happy to see some characters find their way back and hope others will do so in part 2. Also, I hope there’s a happy ending for Reese as well. Such a good read!

She never misses! As expected this was a banger. I have read a few of her other books and she is definitely becoming one of my favorites! She's near the top of my 1 click/don't even read the synopsis list. I can expect that each book will be written just as well or better than the previous one!

Must Read
Reese was wild and loose because her mother chose to run behind men instead of being a mother. Reese have that "Use what you got to get what you want" mentality and it's sad because she really want genuine love from a man. I couldn't do anything but shake my head at her mother because the lady have crossed a line that put Reese in a position to possibly lose Alia as her best friend. Something is seriously wrong with Alia mother. I understand she wanted the best for her only child but having a leash on her and tracking her every move was why Alia was sneaking around. Her mother is judgmental, uptight, and stuck up. Bullet definitely wasn't the type Alia mother wanted with but she couldn't control Alia heart. Trigga and Bullet losing their mother was heartbreaking. Especially after learning their mother story. Shonta is trifling. She's actually a pedophile. She has no business screwing Bullet when he was just a child. Trigga had his hands full trying to support his mother and little brother. It turned him cold but Sedonia had him feeling again. Sedonia was truly a sweetheart. She's accepted Trigga for who he was without judgment. I wish she hadn't gotten mixed up with Dyce though because he don't have her best interest at heart. Dyce is weak and Trigga intimidates him. He knows Trigga have Sedonia heart but him messing up cause Sedonia to run straight into Trigga arms which also put her life in danger.
