Wrong Side of Wright

Rate this book
He’s handsome, he’s charming… he’s a liar.

He'd put me through so much—broke me until I barely recognized my reflection in the mirror. Six years he lied about being married. Six years of my life stolen—wasted from my own stupidity. But I healed—or at least I thought I had.

I got one year...

Three hundred and sixty something odd days before he showed up at my door... shot in the shoulder... begging me for help… showing me that everything I thought I knew was the farthest from reality I’d ever get.

But then I was given a choice…

Trust him and survive, or fend for myself.

Has loving him proved to have been the biggest mistake of my life?

Good

The book was good but I would have like to see when Eric found out about Liam. I think the book missed some good parts jumping to the end.

Not my jam

This story had so many holes it was unbelievable. Liam is supposed to be an FBI agent undercover, after being a marine special ops but somehow he spent 6 years undercover married to the kingpin but never
suspected a thing? He’s supposed to be this hacker but after 6 years he hasn’t grown suspicious and investigated his boss? Worse, he doesn’t have a group a people he can rely on, only one guy? The whole escape plan was sloppy at best, as for him still working for the FBI from an office in Escape? Just laughable. Apart from the plot, the protagonists were terrible. Liam came across as a bumbling idiot, always apologizing instead of being assertive, and unprofessional. Who starts an affair while undercover? As for Constance aka Lotus, she was unbearable. She kept alluding to what Serena did to her without being clear, and her constant moaning was annoying. I understand she was hurt by his actions, however, given the circumstances they are in, she should try to help instead of going on about things which do not matter in the grand scheme of things.

When I read the blurb and saw that he was married while with the lead, I was like “how will I like him or this relationship.” The author wove this story so well that I was down for him and them as a couple. There was action, suspense, drama.. so many elements that I enjoyed this more than I thought I would have. I’m glad I decide to give it a chance. Otherwise I would’ve missed out on a really good book.

I just looked up more books by Sade Rena. I love finding new authors I enjoy. It’s like two gifts in one

This was a really thrilling read with a good unexpected twist. Constance is just barely getting her life back together after a betrayal by the love of her live Dylan. She finds out he's married via his wife chasing her out of town and ruining her reputation. She wants nothing to do with him but when fate and a bullet wound brings him to her doorstep her Hippocratic oath keeps her from leaving him there to die. I think their relationship was cute and the suspense of the story was great. I don't think Dylan had much character development but it was a short read.

Short quick read. Finally getting her life together after Dylan, Constance is not happy when he shows up on her doorstep. He is injured and on the run. She is shocked there was more to his story. Now, once again,, he has flipped her life over into a mess,. Danger, suspense and a second change at love.

I loved this story!! Liam and his Lotus are such a hot couple. The emotions that are shared between these two are what most search for. Even in unimaginable danger Liam did whatever was needed to look out for his love.

This book is well written and kept me on the edge of my seat until I got to the very end!!! I can't wait to read more from Safe Rena!!!!

Lifetime Movie of the Week

I really enjoyed "Wrong Side of Wright." Nurse Constance had her life upended when it turned out that her longtime boyfriend had a longtime wife of six years. A very vengeful wife who disgraced Constance and ran her out of town. Still struggling to get her life back on track a year later, she opens the door to an urgent knock, and there stands Dylan with a gun shot wound, slowly bleeding to death. Oh, and his name is not really Dylan...

His deception

Dylan/Liam, what you did was wrong. Period. You should never never get involved romantically with Constance, no matter how you feel... bottom line you were banging both women and no matter your excuses, it’s called CHEATING. And I can’t blame Serena for being enraged.Constance, it’s nice of you to be able to forgive Liam, deep down he is a nice guy.
we never really get the details of what happened when Constance find out that Dylan was married!!!

Wow this book packed an emotional punch. Read the trigger warnings before diving in because there is cheating in this storyline. Constance has really been through the ringer and all you want is for her to find some happiness. That’s difficult to come by when her cheating ex shows back up on her doorstep! Lots of twists and turns in this book that’ll keep you on your toes.

Captivated from the start

This was my first novel from Sade Rena and I was pleased with her writing and story telling!
I was definitely hooked from the very beginning. I would rate it like a 2 ⭐ for 🌶️ but that is still great.
If you are looking for a seriously spicy read this is not the book for you , although the plotline is very good.
No lose strings and a good ending !

Wrong Side of Wright

A standalone read and a second chance at love. Liam and Lotus have been apart for a year until he falls at her door step when he's been shot. She won't have anything to do with him, however being a nurse is to help others, so their adventure begins again.

If you are not a fan of cheating in a book that is fiction then you might not like this book. I know that some people get turned off by it so I just wanted to warn you. Constance has been in love with a man for as long as she can remember and he is married. Liam lied to her for all those years and now it is time for her to go. Now she is in a new city, trying to piece her life back together and move on. However she should have known he wouldn't stay gone. He shows up needing her help because he is shot in the shoulder. However he didn't just show up shot he brought trouble with him and now Constance's life is never going to be the same. He has brought danger with him and to survive she either has to do it herself or trust Liam and let him help. How do you trust a man who had lied to you more times than you can count? This is a super fast paced suspense book that will keep you on your toes and is a really good read. I liked it. It kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat more times than I can count.

If this book is about being on the "Wrong Side Of Wright", then I don't want to be on the right side. I love reading and I read as much as my kids will allow. It is my stress reliever when I get overwhelmed by my precocious children, which is often. This is the story of heroine Constance having to put her life back together again after experiencing a betrayal by her then boyfriend, Dylan. As Constance is trying to rebuild her life, Dylan unexpectedly re-enters her life again. I haven't read a book this suspenseful in quite a long time. There were twists and turns that I just didn't see coming and I enjoyed every second of my discoveries. This book had me literally on the edge of my seat and I noticed my breathing had quickened with all of the action happening. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'm hoping that Sade Rena turns this into a series.

Wow. I wasn't sure about this one when I read what it was going to be about. But getting into it and reading the first few chapters I was blown away. I absolutely loved this storyline and plot. The author hooks you and keeps you involved in the story and the characters. You don't see things happening that happen with this one. These two together have off the charts chemistry. Even if she does hate him with a passion. He is nothing but a liar and a cheater that she walked away from. But he appears back in her life because he has been shot and needs her help. But by going to her she is now in danger. But neither of them realize that the danger is going to be from someone they did not expect. Amazing storyline. Two characters that you fall in love with and want to know more about. Liam and Constance are two amazing characters. Each of them are strong in their own way but even stronger together. This was a well written enjoyable book from beginning to end. Highly recommend.

This is a fast paced romantic suspense, with a lot of twists & turns I didn’t see coming.
Constance has left it all behind. After her relationship goes south, and she finds out her boyfriend is married, she’s essentially run out of town. She’s making a new life for herself, seeing someone new, casually, working in a new place, and trying to rebuild her life from the ground up.
Imagine her surprise when, like a ghost from the past, he cheating ex shows up on her doorstep, shot, and begging for help.
He’s leading a double life. Married unhappily, his best times were when he was with his lotus. After leading danger to her front step, it’s up to him to keep her safe and get to the bottom of things.

I enjoyed this very much, although I do feel like some things were left undone. The writing was great, the plot kept me captivated, I just wish there had been a little more wrap up.

I enjoyed this book very much. I loved that it was a Second Chance Novel. This book was very fast paced. Constance’s life was ripped from her and she was ran out of town, when she got the shock of her life. After finding out that her boyfriend was married after being together for so long. Liam shows up on her doorstep after a year needing help from her and turns Constance world around once again. I like the story a lot, but I felt like something was left out. I would have liked to know what happen with the other guy that Constance was dealing with a the start of the book. Overall I thought it was a great book and that Sade Rena is a Great Author.

Extremely fast paced right from the get go. Perfect for readers who love suspense/thriller/second chance novels. Definitely action from start to finish which made this story quick to read and enjoy. This was my first time reading anything from this author so I did not know that she writes bwwm characters which I love however I didn’t get any description on Lotus till almost halfway into the book and hardly no description about Liam at all. I love to get a visual on characters right away so that was the only downfall for me.

How far would you go

for a job?

Lies, deceit and starting over all because she loved the wrong person. Building a new life, career, and friendships because he took everything. Only to answer the door, in the night, and have it all come crashing down all over again. Destroyed.

This is a fast paced (romantic) suspense with good world building. It is original and action packed. The h is lovable and admirable- I'd be more than a hot mess (and more than likely murderous) in any of her situations.

This is the first book by this author for me and I really enjoyed this story. Constance has been through the ringer and moved on with her life putting the pieces back together, that is until Liam, the man who broke her shows up needing her help. On the heels of him returning he’s bringing danger along for the ride. Will she help Liam or shut him down? This book is suspenseful, twists and turns, edge of your seat good. I received a copy of this book.

This is a new author to me, and I certainly look forward to reading more of her work in the future. This is Constance’s story and she is starting her life over in a new city with a new job and seeing a new guy. When her past come knocking will she embrace it or continue to move forward. This is a good story which is extremely fast paced, and is filled with suspense, danger, twists, and romance as well as being an emotional roller coaster throughout. I recommend for all.

Liam is a deep undercover FBI agent investigating the Russian Mafia. He meets and falls in love with Constance/Lotus. His Mob wife creates a big scandal to get him away from Lotus. There is a hit on Liam, several murders, a dirty FBI handler and a run for their lives. Great writing, great characters. A fast paced good read that ends with a HEA.
